Chapter 26 Get To Work, Doll
I squeak when he pushes me back against the door, his lips attacking mine again and again, his hand around my neck like he owns me.
“You think you can dominate your way out of this?” He growls in a brief separation of our lips. “I thought you were smarter than that, Doll.”
He crashes his mouth back to mine, making me moan from the intensity of his kiss and from his words.
Clearly, this is how he deals with his emotions.
Me almost getting kidnapped, almost losing me, means that he needs to keep me close, his anger and adrenaline fuelling his actions. I understand it, because I’m doing the same. I need to get this energy out, and it seems that he does as well.
I have my flaws and David has his. If I can pretend that him being in the mob doesn’t bother me, maybe he can do the same for my side job. Maybe then, we can both just give in to this obvious chemistry between us. We can talk afterwards.
His mouth goes to my neck as I roll my head back, bumping it against the wood as he pushes against me, his hips grinding into mine while his tongue runs over my collarbone.
“Turn the cameras off.” He mutters into my neck.
“What?” I pant, my hands on his forearms, trying to stabilise myself.
One of his hands goes to my hair, and he tugs on it, hard. I audibly groan.
“Turn them off. Your friend doesn’t need to see what I’m about to do to you.” His words hold a filthy promise that makes my abdomen ignite. I lick my lips.
“Can’t. System doesn’t let you.” I reply in a breathy tone.
“Well then, Nora,” He says, his face coming up to mine. “Seems we have no choice but to go back to mine.”
Before I can say anything, he is taking my hand and dragging me out of the room.
I am 3 steps from the front door before Nico, Theo and Marcus appear. I wave Nico off while David just completely ignores him, my body full of adrenaline at what is about to happen next.
The sunlight floods my vision as David leads me outside, then opens the car door for me. He doesn’t need to say anything. I immediately get inside, shutting the door behind me as he walks around and gets in from the other side.
Theo has apparently followed us both out, and is already getting into the driver’s seat, wordlessly knowing his boss needs to go somewhere. David barks the order to go home, then he is pressing the button on the console that makes the screen slide up.
“Did you ever think about it?” He asks once the partition has completely closed us off.
“Think about what?”
“When you’re in the office, sitting next to me. At home getting ready in the mornings. Did you ever think about everything we’d done at the club?”
I inhale sharply. It seems that we’re talking about this now then, but how am I supposed to respond to that?
“Answer me.” He snarls, reaching up and tugging on my hair. I whine as I try to keep my mouth shut, not wanting the moan to come out. “Did you think about it?”
“Yes.” I whisper.
“Tell me.”
“David, it–”
“Tell. Me.” He repeats, his other hand now coming up to my throat, his fingers squeezing my neck a little. I can’t stop my eyes rolling back this time.
“I… thought about… everything. All the time. You have no idea how many times I wanted to do something about it.” I mutter, opening my eyes and looking up at him. I know he can tell that this is turning me on. His eyes are running over my face, taking in my response. “Fucking hell David, please...”
His fingers loosen on my neck, and my hair, but only enough so that I can breathe when he smashes his lips to mine. I whimper into his mouth, eagerly returning the kiss, when I feel his hands leave my hair, my throat, and sense his body shifting.
Pulling back the tiniest amount, I look down to see him undoing his trousers. Before I can even ask the question, his hand is back in my hair in a fierce grip.
“Get to work, Doll.” He orders, pushing my head down to his lap, where he’s pulled his rock hard cock out of the confines of his underwear.
I instantly cover him with my mouth, the adrenaline coursing through my veins, my eagerness slipping through as I move quickly, my head bobbing up and down, my tongue running over him, the odd moan escaping through and sending low vibrations through his cock.
His head falls back against the headrest, his fingers twitching as they tangle in my hair, wanting to pull on the strands harshly, but also just wanting to succumb to the euphoria he is making me feel. Exactly the same as in the club, his brain swims with each memory of me tied up, reacting to his touch, except now he is replacing the masked submissive with my face, and it is making his cock throb uncontrollably.
A speaker above his head crackles after a few minutes.
“Five minutes.” Theo’s voice says, and David licks his bottom lip, looking back down at me, sucking on him as hard and fast as I can.
He gently tugs on my hair.
“You hear that, Doll? You have five minutes to make me cum. You might not get another chance.” He growls at me, making me moan around his cock, and speed up.
He groans at the feeling, his abdomen heating up as I do every single thing just right. He knows he is only minutes away, but he wonders whether it will be him, or the journey that will finish first.
Glancing out the window, he notes we are only a couple of blocks away. Two more junctions and we’ll be at his building. Somehow, I seem to catch onto the fact that time is running out, my hand coming to wrap around his cock, stroking him as my mouth keeps working on dragging him to his climax.
“Fuck…” He breathes from above me, and he pulses in my mouth. I speed up, and within seconds, his hand tightens in my hair, and he shudders, curses, his cum spilling over my tongue, just as the car turns the final junction to his building.
Licking the remnants of his orgasm off of him, slowly this time, as he breathes through his high, I leave my hand around his cock, pulling my mouth off, and looking up at him as he looks down at me, his eyes only half open.
“How was that, Sir?” I ask innocently, making him bite his bottom lip.
He grabs my wrist as the car comes to a stop, pushing me away and doing his trousers back up, and then he’s opening his door, and Theo is opening mine.
Theo offers his hand for me to get out of the car, as I move out of my position, but I look up at him and help myself out. His expression doesn’t give much away, but he has the ghost of a smirk on his lips, and I give him an awkward, closed lip smile in return as he shuts the car door behind me.
David has already walked around the car, and puts his hand on my back, guiding me forwards to the building door.
I can still taste him on my tongue.
Neither of us says anything as we go up the elevator, as David opens his front door. While I walk, I have the thought that maybe he’s done all this as a ploy just to get me to come back, a ruse of sexual promise that he will rip away once the door closes behind me.
So when the door does close behind me, and David and I are now standing in his silent hallway, I stare at him walking away from me, wondering what he is going to do next.
He shrugs his jacket off, hanging it up, then turns to me, his fingers going to his tie and undoing it as he holds my gaze. Sliding the material away from his neck, he drops it to the floor, and doesn’t say anything.
Then his phone buzzes in his pocket. Keeping eye contact with me, he pulls it out, briefly glancing down at it before looking back at me and taking a deep breath.
I swallow, keeping my mouth closed, simply waiting for him to make the first move.
He steps towards me.
My heart speeds up. I can’t move as he walks closer.
He stops just in front of me, looking down at me, and I breathe deeply as I patiently wait. Reaching his hand up, his fingers graze my cheek, leaving a searing hot trail on my skin, running down my jaw. He wraps his hand around the side of my neck, and gently pulls me closer, kissing me softly. Slowly.
My body reacts instantly, pushing myself forward, trying to grab his shirt eagerly, when his other hand goes to my hips, and pushes me back, separating our mouths.
“I need you to stay here.” He whispers.
“Okay, fine.” I pant back, going to kiss him again, but he stops me. Then I realise. “You’re leaving.”
His silence tells me that I’m right. That what I think is right. He is just using my weakness for him to get me back in the apartment.
“I’ll be back. I need to sort something out.” He says. He brings both hands up to my jaw, cradling my face, making me look up at him. “Please stay.”
“I don’t have a choice, do I?” I snap, my body flooding with anger at yet another day of unspent desire.
“When I come back, we can talk. I promise.” He explains, placing another kiss on my forehead. “Marcus will be here.” He adds once he lets go of me.
Realising that I’m not going to reply, that I’m not going to move, he just sighs, walks around me, and leaves.
