CHAPTER 118: MOVING TO THE BEAT

"This is beyond my power, Dominic. Even if you banged me over that bed and fucked me until I couldn’t move, I would never be enough to suppress what you feel toward that girl. It’s killing you. And you know it. So why don’t you just give in?”

His heart pounded. His teeth ground. And all he could think was: What the fuck?

“Okay, this is really, really confusing. What the hell is going on with my life right now?” he kept thinking to himself.

His entire mind was in shambles as he stood where he was, looking at Vera who was still glancing at him with that joking expression in her eyes. She folded her arms, winking at him. Dominic groaned, pointing at her.

"Just get out, get out! You're not even helping right now!" The way he said it made her laugh out loud as she brushed her fingers through her hair.

"I’m sorry, Dominic, but sometimes the truth just has to be said. It’s so evident. Stop denying. Stop fighting it. It’s not helping you at all; in fact, it’s practically killing you, I must say," she said.

Dominic frowned at her. "I said you should get out. I don't need your services anymore; you are free to go."

She frowned at him and stepped closer. "What about my payment? You're not going to leave me hanging, are you?" she asked. Dominic looked at her, scoffed, and shook his head.

"Yeah, right, as expected. Always for the payment, even though you failed. Whatever, I'm going to pay you. Thanks for the sex, anyway," he said.

She smiled at him. "You're welcome, baby, although I have to say I really enjoyed it. We could book an appointment anytime for us to, you know, get down soft and hard again," she said in a way that made him frown at her.

"Oh my God, get the hell out, Vera!"

She laughed out loud and turned on her heels. She picked up her luggage in the room, looked at Dominic for a few minutes, then swatted his ass in a way that made him jolt. He turned to look at her with a frown. She winked at him and laughed before stepping out of the room.

Finally, Dominic collapsed against the bed, gazing at the ceiling and frowning intensely to himself. "Oh my God, Aria," he thought. "What the hell are you doing to me?" He thought, grinding his teeth together. "How the hell am I supposed to escape this?"

It didn't end that night. In fact, everything seemed to be intensified. The moment he thought about her body, the way she fit perfectly in his arms, the way she felt with her legs wrapped around him. God, her voice—that smooth, soft, sweet voice.

He imagined how it would have felt to have plunged into her with that beautiful body of hers bent over as he fucked her hard, pounding her head into oblivion until she couldn't breathe. The thought of it tortured him.

It plagued him throughout the entire day. He felt like he was at the brink of losing his fucking mind. He couldn't contain it anymore. His body was about to fucking lose its control. He needed her here with him right now. He needed her bent beneath him, crying his name out loud as he fucked her senseless. His brain was struggling to keep up. His mind couldn't piece everything together.

Everything was fucking driving him insane. "Oh my God," he thought to himself as he spent almost the entire day locked in his room, avoiding her presence, trying to fight the battle that was plaguing him thoroughly.

What the hell does a man have to do to escape this torture? he thought to himself with a heavy, deep frown. At last, when his body couldn't bear it anymore, that traitorous part of his mind that told him he should at least head down and have a glimpse of her came back to him in full force, and he couldn't fight it. He stepped out of his room, maintaining his steps as he moved through the long corridor. He glanced at her room, looked at the closed door for a long while, thinking:

Should I knock, or should I just avoid? But there was no way he could continue with that thought. He placed his ear against the door and listened. There was no sound from within. That made him know a lot: she was presently not inside the room. He turned around and headed down the stairs quickly, trying to brush off the thought.

"Just let it go, Dominic," he kept on saying to himself. "Just let it go. Perhaps, once you’ve probably gotten a cup of juice, you would then head over to your room and have a very nice cold shower and this feeling is going to be gone, gone in an instant."

But the moment he climbed down the staircase and stepped straight into the large living room, the next sight that hit his eyes made all rationality vaporize instantly from his head.

"Oh my God," he thought to himself. The Aria he had been expecting he would not encounter again was standing directly in the living room. And she was not just standing. Oh God, she was dressed in the most flimsiest clothing one can ever think about. So hot, so fucking alluring, it practically blew his mind away. It drove him senseless.

"Oh my God," he thought to himself, slapping his palm against his forehead. "What the hell have I done to deserve this?" He kept on looking at her, noticing the way she swayed her hips, the way she twirled. God, the gown she was wearing was so flimsy. The thin straps were so thin and the neckline plunged so low to her belly, practically revealing every inch of those breasts. She's at it again. She's out to get him. She's just wanting to do everything to make it hard for him. He couldn't ignore the movement of those breasts bouncing vividly as she twirled. There was music booming in the home theater in the large living room and she was dancing to it. It was a pseudo-sensual, erotic, arousing music and she was moving to the beat.
