Others Showed Up
It was two hours or so later that the others walked in looking like they were worn out and ready to relax. I wasn’t sure if I should tell them everything now or wait for them to relax a little. Everyone took a seat and looked at each other. Then my brother had to open his big mouth about what just happened.

:”You guys, won’t believe who showed up here blaming Ginger for everything that has gone wrong in his life.” Lutin said just not caring I was trying to get him to shut up.

“Lutin, what are you talking about? Who showed up here?’ Jon asked

“First Kyle showed up here trying to play nice and all that until Mia called him out on his ;llies. Then once he left maybe an hour later your detective Jon showed up and tried to say that Ginger was keeping Ginger here against her will and claiming that she was her sister. Mia had to show him the DNA report that they were sisters and that Mia was here on her own free will. We all think Kyle did it to try and cause trouble for Ginger.” Lutin explained while I face palmed myself.

“Ginger, Mia, are you guys all right?” Sable asked

“I will call the precinct for more information>” Jon replied to everyone

“Lord Rodrick, how are you doing with what happened to you?” Faeberon asked

“I’m still a little weak, but doing much better thanks to Ginger and her quick thinking. We do need to talk about what was asked of me by Ginger’s Uncle Jimmy.” Lord Rodrick retorted.

“Your right. Tell us what he said or asked you.” Justin said

“Yeah let’s hear what that power hungry fool wanted. He and Tia are so much a like. It is so wonderful that these kids are nothing like her.” Sable retorted

“Mom, if she is doing what we all think that could mean that there are kids of her’s that are just like her and Jimmy out there. Just because Lutin, Mia and Ginger are not doesn’t mean other’s couldn’t be.” Nigel said 

“Enough we will figure out that when the time comes. Let Lord Rodrick speak now please.” Ginger stated out loud to them all

“Well I get there and do what Ginger and the group said that I should do. I walk up to the door and just when I was about to knock they opened the door like they knew I was alone and that they had nothing to worry about. I didn’t see Jimmy at first. All I seen was like six or so people I didn’t know. Then I heard him before I saw him. He made it sound like I came to him at first. Then he switched gears. He asked me if I had seen Tia and if I knew who he was. He then made a remark about his son Mark. When I asked him what I was doing there he got this big smile acrossed his face. He said he was giving me a big oppertunity to join them in their cause. I asked what he was talking about. Then he said we would talk about that another time and that I need to prove myself and become his informant. I needed to tell him where Ginger was, what she was doing, where she was going and all of that. I needed to document all her skill and powers. That he would pay me and let me stay on as a second in the council that he and Mark talked about that and agreed that I could help run things. I told him I need time to think and he didn’t like that at first. Then he asked me how much time and I told him a week. That is when he stabbed me with a silver knife and threw me out and said I better have the answer he wants to hear in a week. I got as far away as I could before I called Ginger and them for help.” Lord Rodrick explained it all in detail.

“We better figure this out soon and how we need to handle it. Before they do something that we will not be able to control the situation lille we are now.” Lumar said from the corner of the room.

They all turned and looked at him, because he was so quiet that they forgot he was there. He stood and walked over to me. He looked at me, waiting to see what I would say.

“Lumar is right. We can’t keep playing defense; we need to go on offense and start taking things to them, rather than waiting around for them to make a move. If we keep letting that happen, then they will always be a few steps ahead of us. So, you guys need to get some rest, and the rest of us will start doing some research and find out all that we can. Then, when you guys are rested, you can take over and start where we left off. If we work in shifts for now, then we can set a trap for at least one of them. Then if we can capture one, hopefully we can get some information from them one way or the other.” Ginger told them with no room to argue with her about any of it.
They all got up to go to different areas to sleep. Sable and Justin went into my room, and Jon and Nigel went into Mia’s room. Dad and Lord Rodrick flashed to a motel room to rest for the night. Lutin and Lumar went out to get food, and then they were going to hit the dive bars to see if they could gather any information. Being that they are new, no one would think they are with me, and most haven’t seen them before at all. Which leaves Mia and me to get on the computers to do some research.
They guys came back about an hour later with food and then got cleaned up and went back out to see what they could gather.
