Chapter 12 - Sneak Attack
Chapter 12 - Sneak Attack
Bram's P.O.V.
It's almost midnight, and I can feel the adrenaline coming off the men. I've been hyping them up all day. As long as I get Delaine and the rest of the bunnies are dead, I don't care about anyone else. Doug thinks I'm going to get Sydney for him, but if she dies, she dies. All I want is revenge for my men they let die and Delaine.
"Okay, men, let's move out." I look up at Doug on the steps of the pack house, and he nods at me. The weak, pathetic alpha will send his men but won't dare fight himself.
We're not far from the bunnies and misfits, so it only takes about thirty minutes to reach the road leading to their house. We park and gather at the end of the long driveway.
"Spread out and surround the house. We'll take them by surprise," I tell the men. They all run, and some shift into their wolves. I start walking up the driveway and smile as the house comes into view. It's time to come home, little bunny. I can't wait to get my hands on you.

Jordan's P.O.V.
Anya and I are passed out on the couch in my office when I get a mindlink.
"Men and wolves are coming through the forest toward the house. They look like they're preparing for an attack." Calvin says. He's an owl and our best watchman. We may be a group of misfits, but we're a family. I sit up, and Anya opens her eyes.
"What's wrong?" she asks sleepily. I want to tell her to go back to sleep, but I think she may be safer by my side rather than in here. Besides, I don't want her to kick my ass if I make the suggestion that she stay away from the fighting.
"Men are getting ready to attack us. I'm mindlinking the misfits to get ready for a fight. Can you do the same with the bunnies?" I ask as I put on my clothes. Anya jumps up and does the same.
"They'll be ready. Do you have any idea who these men are?" she asks while quickly braiding her hair.
"No. We don't do anything to make people want to come after us." Damn, I want to rip those clothes back off of her. Anya grins as if she can read my mind.
"Later, big bear, I promise." She kisses me, and we head to the door. Why did she say that? When we were having sex, she called me big bear, and now hearing it makes me hard.
When we get downstairs, everyone is waiting for us. The bunnies look ready to fight, while the misfits look whipped. What is wrong with them? Shit, I probably look the same way. These bunnies have that effect on us.
"They're almost to the house. It looks like they're all wolves except the large man coming up the main driveway. He reeks of black bear." Calvin mindlinks. I look at the bunnies and repeat what he said for their benefit.
"Black bear? I think I know which piece of scum that will be. His name is Bram. He's after me because I refused to mate with him. When he tried to rape me, I used some of my magic to make his penis feel like it was on fire. About a year ago, he found me and wanted us to help his bear gang, who had been poisoned. I refused, so now he's pissed. He doesn't know I'm part witch. Well, he didn't, anyway. He's big and mean as hell but isn't too smart, so I doubt he's put the pieces together." Delaine says. All the bunnies have backgrounds similar to ours, but many seem to have men coming after them. I wonder how many more are out there.
"I think it's time for this bear to die," Alan says, taking Delaine's hand.
"How about we use a little magic, sexy fox?" I hide my laugh when Alan's face turns red. I think, in some ways, these bunnies are tougher than we are.
Delaine pulls Alan outside, and the rest of us follow. We get out there just as the wolves and the bear appear. They all freeze when they see us waiting for them.

Delaine's P.O.V.
I know exactly why Bram is here. He still wants me, and he wants to pay me back for what I did to him. When we get outside, he sees me holding Alan's hand, and I see the anger on his face. Let's poke the bear.
"Hello, fireballs, or should I call you roasted nuts? Is your dick still attached, or did it fall off?" I yell at him. The bunnies and misfits start laughing behind me.
"You little bunny bitch you're going to pay for that. ATTACK." I look at Alan, and we smile at each other. I say a quick spell and make all the wolves stop in their tracks. Alan holds out his hands and waves them around. The wolves all fall to the ground, howling and screaming in pain. Bram looks at them in surprise.
"How did you do that?" He glares at me but doesn't move forward.
"I thought maybe you would have figured it out after what I did to you, but I forgot your brain is smaller than your pea-sized balls. I'm part witch, and my sexy mate here is a kitsune. Since you're not too bright, a kitsune is a fox who can do magic. Together, we're going to take down your sorry ass." Whatever Alan did to the wolves, they're starting to die. I don't care; it's just kind of scary that he has that much power.
"You aren't going to do anything, you fucking bitch. You see that your magic didn't work on me." Bram starts walking forward, and I laugh.
"It didn't work because what we did wasn't meant for you. That was just for the wolves. For you, we have something special. I want to kick your ass before you die." I glance at the bunnies, and they walk with me down the steps. We all have our demons, and being able to get rid of them is a group effort. Above all, we're sisters by something that connects us deeper than blood. We circle around Bram while he laughs, looking up at the misfits.
"Your men know this is a fight they can't win, so they sent the women to be slaughtered, is that it?" He asks, turning to me.
"Quite the opposite. We love seeing our women in action. This is almost too easy for them. They won't even break a sweat killing you," Alan yells. I wink at him, and he beams at me. I really do love that man. Bram gets in what I'm guessing he thinks is a fighting stance, but he looks constipated.
"Bring it on, bunny bitches," he says.
I jump and kick him in the face while Sydney kicks him in the back of the head. Many people forget about the power of a bunny's kick. We may look soft and cuddly in bunny form, but our kicks can be lethal. All the bunnies take turns kicking him repeatedly. When he's lying on the ground, I look down, smirking as I kick him as hard as I can between his legs.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I crack your nuts?" I ask as I do it again. Bram screams in pain, and then it occurs to me that he never shifted.
"I'm going to kill you." He rolls onto his side and tries to get up, but Lindy kicks him in the head, sending him to the ground again.
"Where's your bear? Did he leave you because you're a pathetic piece of shit?" I ask while kicking him in the ribs.
"No. He's sick. When we were poisoned a year ago, I was stuck with something that made me sick. It killed most of the other bears, but not me. My bear is still weak, though," Bram answers.
"What pack are you here with?" Sydney asks. I know where she's going with this.
"The Fatal Moon pack," Bram replies. He gets up while he thinks we're distracted. We have him right where we want him. The bunnies start laughing, and I turn to the misfits.
"Well, this idiot is helping the pack that killed his men, and it looks like we just killed all the warriors who poisoned you guys," I tell them.
"What? Alpha Doug and his pack of fleas are the ones who poisoned me and my men?" Bram yells. I spin and kick him in the head, sending him back to the ground.
"Yes," Ginger says while kicking him in the side. I'm done playing with this fool.
"He and his entire pack are dead when I leave here," he screams.
"Sorry, but you won't get the chance to kill them." The bunnies step back, and I say a spell. Bram screams in pain as he begins burning from the inside out. I turn and walk to Alan.
"So, Syd, what do you say we pay Doug a little visit?" Anya asks. I turn and look around when Sydney doesn't respond.
"Sydney?" Dallas yells as he runs around.
"Lindy?" Dayan yells at the same time. We all begin searching the area but can't find either bunny. I try to mindlink them, but there's no response. Where are Sydney and Lindy?
