CHAPTER 30: second rejection

Audrey and Kiara saw Kelly off to where she boarded her horse.

"I'm really happy that I got to meet your sister, she is really interesting to be with" Kiara complimented, as they were heading back inside the palace

"I know, she has really been the best that happened to me, if not for her I would have felt loneliness all my life" Audrey responded

"And I have you now, so it's happiness all my life" she added

"I'm glad you are happy, now my work towards your happiness is progressing"

"Huh..I almost forgot to ask you. Have you gotten any further information about Melvin and Elvis?" Kiara asked. Audrey tried to maintain a balance expression so Kiara wouldn't know she is Hiding anything

"I tried asking Elvis but I couldn't. I you to try going into his room, see the picture and ask him about the girl, he may tell you about it and we would have an idea about the past through his answer" she acted like she knows nothing about it

"I would, but Elvis is to hard to predict, he may not tell me anything"

"There is no harm in trying" Audrey answered

"Let's go see how the troops are doing,it's been long we addressed them"

"There is no need, while you were down, I made them train very hard just for you, I wasn't too though but I was" Kiara said with a smile

"Just focus on regaining your lost strength"

"No problem, Thanks for everything"

Elvis walked towards them, he had a huge frown on his face. When he is always like this no one dares to come to him, he had a bad temper, most of the people in the pack always fear him because of it

"Why the frown, what has Melvin done this time?" Kiara asked when Elvis got to them

"This Time it isn't Melvin, but his rejected mate!!" His voice sounded like a roar. Both Audrey and Kiara were surprised, it is unexpected of Elvis to address her like this.

Or has his wolf taken over him again. Audrey wondered, he had apologized to her and promised not to allow his wolf to take over him again. Thank goodness she was now an alpha, she could fight for herself anytime

"Why are you talking about Elvis?" Kiara asked

"Do you think I love you? I was only using you for my interior motive, do you think because Melvin rejected you, you can come to me?" Elvis half yelled

"I don't understand, what has come over you?" She asked

"Nothing has come over me, I took you as a friend because I wanted you to help me with something, but when you decided not to, I apologized, we became friends, but I r knew you would fall in love with me"

"Don't act like you both don't know, she told you everything Kiara, don't act all lame!!!" He kept yelling. Unknowing to them, Melvin, who was helping the troop get ready for something, heard Elvis howl and came outside, now he was standing at a corner but none of them knew.

"Are you going crazy Elvis?" Kiara tried to understand what Elvis was talking about

"I, Elvis, An alpha of mecresh pack rejects you Audrey of Peking Pack as my Alpha, we are only friends and nothing more" Elvis busted out and left.

Audrey couldn't do anything, she watched as he left, her knee felt knob, just like the way Melvin had rejected her, another Alpha had also rejected her. Even though she doesn't love Elvis she felt rejected, she felt like she was a nobody to them, she felt like taking her life now. Just when she was starting to be Happy with her life, she had another downfall.

"I didn't expect someone to be rejected by the twin Alpha!!" Diana was suddenly beside them. Nobody needed to tell them that Diana was the cause of all this.

"What have you done Diana?" Kiara asked with hatred

"I just helped you out link a little secret, shouldn't you be thanking me for that?" Diana asked with a smirk

"You are really evil!!" Kiara yelled. Audrey looked at Diana with hatred. What have she done to this girl to deserve this Ill treatment form her. Why did this happen when Kelly left, Kelly would have showed them the wicked part of her. But she would not let it go either, she would surely fight for herself.

Audrey teleported to Diana's back and kicked her hard on the leg, Diana turned back to attack Audrey, but Audrey had already teleported to her back again and hit her on the stomach.

"Do you think after doing this you would not have a taste of the bitterness?" Audrey asked and pulled Diana up

"I'm not the Audrey you Know before, I'm evil to those who bring me evil" Audrey threw Diana on the ground and tried jumping on her..

"Audrey!!" Kiara yelled

"Calm yourself down, she isn't Worthy of your strength, remember you were weakened by your power, Don't waste it on someone that isn't Worthy" Kiara wanted Audrey to be safe, She had promised Kelly she would protect Audrey and she doesn't want to fail Kelly.

"Let's go inside, she can live with her fake life, I don't care anymore, she is only trying to make two brothers hate you, you have me, I won't leave you" Kiara told Audrey and she calmed down a little.

"I will head to my Chambers,I will meet you when it's time for dinner" Audrey said and left Kiara. She wanted to be alone, it was another beginning for her, what if Kaiara ceased to be her friend, then she would be empty again.

"What does life really hold for her, is this how she would live her life like a pauper in a rich word"
