CHAPTER 14: "I would make him love me"

I ran towards the direction Kiara had run to, it was hard finding her because I didn't run after her immediately she left. Then, I heard a sniff of tears and I knew it was her, she was sitting at the balcony in front of the palace. Even though I wasn't the one hurt, I felt a burden on me, she was my Friend, a reliable sister in law. How I wish I had the power, I would have beaten the hell out of Melvin and the so-called General's daughter.

I bent down to and sat on the chair, I began tapping her back for her to calm down

"Calm down Kiara! A princess doesn't cry, you aren't a weak girl, or are you?"

"I'm trying to be strong Audrey, Since Diana began living with us, I always feel left out, it feels to me that I am not the daughter again but her" she cried the more

"You can beat her up, you are a Beta Even though she is too, but I believe you are stronger, give her a back threat she gave you" I really wanted Kiara to deal with Diana, if she needs my help I will gladly do. Since the Time I met her my mind wasn't at ease with her.

"How I wish I could do it" she looked up at me

"But father would still support her"

"Why?" I thought the king was a nice man, I don't know that he would choose a stranger over his daughter

"Her father died while protecting our pack, and her mother left her, father had been treating her like a daughter, and…." She paused on her statement and looked at me before removing her sight

"If you don't want to talk about it, I won't push you" I told her, and she shook her head

"I don't want you to feel bad, but do you know what she meant by, "she would accomplish what she came here for?" She asked me

"She meant Melvin, she has been in love with Melvin since we were little" I knew it, I knew it was why my heart wasn't at peace, when the king told her, I was Melvin's wife her expression wasn't right

"I already know she Does even if you didn't tell me, I don't care anymore Kiara, the fact that Melvin couldn't do anything when your father and Diana made you cry, make me begin to hate him" I cursed, I wanted our marriage to work out, I still would, but I'm angry now

"You don't have to back out Audrey, show her who you are, tell her an Omega is also a Werewolf, you have Elvis and Me, we would do anything to help you" she said to me, I knew she was trying to comfort me. A person who is down trying to comfort another.

"Does Melvin know she loves him?" I asked

"I don't think so" she answered

" Elvis was angry too, he was angry that your father made you cry all because of Diana and Melvin couldn't do anything" I told her

"I know he would, he also hates Diana, she is really a thorn in our flesh"

"So, is it only Melvin who talks and laughs with her?" I asked and she nodded, I smiled a little and breathed out heavily

"I promise you now, I would work on my Omega power, your father is holding a pack victory party in the next full moon, in three days time, my sister and my Mom would come, I would tell her to teach me some tricks" I told her

"I would really love to see your sister" she smiled, it seems she didn't get to see her on the wedding day

"It's late already, you should get some rest, don't think about what happened tonight. like you have always told me, Live your life, I would be waiting tomorrow for sword training" I smiled at her, and she nodded.

I stood up and headed back inside, I walked through passages and hall. The light came from the little standing candle, and I was able to see through where I was going. As I was about to enter the road that leads to our chamber I heard the voice of a man and a woman.I knew that voice so I hid at a corner. It was Melvin and Diana

"I didn't know you would get married before I returned" she smiled, no one needs to tell me that the smile wasn't genuine.

"Father made me marry on time, I won't disagree with him that's why I married" he answered, why would he tell her that he was forced to marry, if he didn't love her? Truly she was a love rival.

"Is she a beta or an Alpha?" She asked him. I thought he wouldn't answer that question but to my surprise,he did

"She isn't an Alpha or a beta, she is an Omega" . His answers to her were hurting me. He didn't even put it in a nice way, he made her understand that I was nothing.

"I didn't know you would stoop so low to get married to an Omega" she laughed. Suddenly Elvis was there, I think he teleported himself, his hands were in his pocket and he looked beautiful as ever

"That girl you called an Omega, is a hundred more times better than you, beautiful, caring, loving, her smile and everything, you are just a cheap person trying to broadcast your cheap product" he cursed, and the next thing he was out of sight. I wanted to laugh but I held myself, Elvis had stood up for me, the thing which my so-called husbands couldn't do.

I watch has she had an unpleasant Expression, and I wanted to laugh the more

"You shouldn't mind him, he is always like that" Melvin told her. How I wish I could punch him now.

"You should head back" he told her and was about to leave

"Do you love her?" She asked, Which made him stop, I was puzzled too

"I mean her, your wife, do you love her" I wanted to move my body a inch, I didn't no when I slipped my hands from the wall and feel hard on the ground

"Ahhhh" I yelled, I had just exposed myself. I look at the blood that was coming out from my previous wound which hasn't healed totally.

"Audrey!!" I heard him called, as he walked towards me

"Don't come close!!" I ordered and he stopped, I stood up and dusted my clothes and walked towards him.

"I didn't really know you are heartless, I didn't know you would watch someone insult your own sister, do you know the meaning of blood, and here you are laughing while your sister is in there crying" I mustered courage to talk to him

"What do…"

"I don't care about what you take me for anymore, I didn't beg God to give me an Omega rank, it's my fate and I have to bear it, you can think whatever you want to think about me, I don't care anymore, The almighty Alpha Melvin. But I would show you that an Omega is worth everything" I walked away from him, and walked over to Diana.

"You made Kiara cry, and I know you would be happy about it. Don't think that I'm a weak Omega, to tell you the truth, I'm worth fearing, you can call me a devil reincarnate, watch how you deal with my loved ones, you made a threat to Kiara, I would give it back to you" I looked at her and smirked devilishly. I was still feeling pains from the injury, but I would endure it, I could see that he was still looking at me.

I was about to leave, and then I came back to her again

"You asked if he loved me, I would give you an answer, No,he doesn't love me, he was forced to marry me, so was I. I promise myself to make the Marriage work, and I would do it, I would make him love me and there is nothing you can do" I walked away from them and entered inside our chamber.

I breathed out heavily, that was a close one. I really looked like an alpha, when I reprimanded all of them,I walked back to the cushion chair, and laid down, I smiled before drifting to sleep " what a good night for me, I have to Live like this, I know she would really be afraid of me now" I smiled
