Chapter One Hundred And Thirty Two

Chapter One Hundred And Thirty Two
Serena’s Pov

“What are you doing?” I asked sharply as I heard the click of the lock behind me.

Killian’s smirk grew wider, the kind of smirk that always meant trouble.

“You wouldn’t have followed me here if I didn’t mention Theo,” he said, his voice sounding calm but cold. “I knew using our son’s name would work. You still have a soft spot for him, don’t you?”

My brows furrowed. “Of course I do! He’s my son, Killian. Don’t twist things around.”

He leaned against the door, crossing his arms like he was studying me.

“Then why haven’t you come to visit him even once? What kind of mother stays away from her child for this long?”

I clenched my fists, trying to control the tremor in my voice. “Don’t you dare make me feel guilty about that,” I snapped. “You know exactly why I didn’t come. Theo didn’t want to see me, remember? You made sure of that. You poisoned his mind against me!”

Killian chuckled darkly and walked closer.

“Poisoned his mind? No, Serena. I just told him the truth about his mother.”

I took a step back, my back brushing against the edge of the bed. “Stop it. You’re doing this on purpose.”

He tilted his head slightly, his eyes glinting with something unsettling. “I’m just wondering how you can act like you care when you walk away so easily.”

“Easily?” I repeated, my voice rising. “You threw me out! You made it clear you didn’t want me here anymore. You had someone else in your bed even before I packed my bags!”

His jaw tightened, and for a brief second, I saw the flicker of guilt flash in his eyes. But it disappeared as quickly as it came.

“You were never innocent to me, Serena. Don’t pretend to be a victim. You weren’t as attractive as I wanted.”

I swallowed hard, my heart pounding faster.

“If you brought me here to argue about the past, I’m leaving,” I said, turning towards the door.

But before I could even take another step, his hand shot out and gripped my wrist tightly.

“You’re not going anywhere.”

“Killian, let go of me!” I demanded, struggling to free myself, but his hold only tightened.

“Not until I get what I want,” he said, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.

“What are you talking about?” I asked, feeling dread.

He leaned closer, his breath brushing against my ear.

“You’ve been walking around like you’re untouchable, like you’ve moved on to better things with your new man. But deep down, you know you still want me.”

“Stop it!” I yelled, jerking my hand, but he pushed me backward until I stumbled onto the bed.

“Killian!” I gasped, trying to get up, but he pressed a hand on my shoulder, keeping me pinned.

“Do you know what people would think if they saw you like this?” he said softly, brushing a strand of hair from my face. “If they saw you desperate and begging for me?”

“Let me go!” I shouted again, panic rising in my chest. “You’re insane!”

He gave a low laugh, one that made my stomach twist. “Maybe. But I’m smart enough to know how to destroy you.”

My heart thudded painfully in my chest. “Destroy me? Why, Killian? What did I ever do to you to deserve this?”

He straightened up, walking towards the nightstand.

“You took everything from me,” he said bitterly. “My peace, my pride, my company. To think that you would have the guts to buy shares to overthrow me.”

“Let's not forget that it was my company to begin with,” I uttered, my lower lip trembling.

“Oh, really?”

I stood up quickly, trembling. “It’s business, Killian. You made enemies when you betrayed me.”

He turned back towards me, holding something small and metallic. Immediately I noticed it was a camera, my stomach dropped.

“What… what are you doing with that?” I asked, my voice shaking.

He smirked again, raising the camera slightly.

“This,” he said, “is my way of fighting back. You take my company, I take your reputation.”

I stared at him in disbelief. “You wouldn’t.”

“Oh, I would,” he replied casually, setting the camera on a nearby shelf and pointing it towards the bed. “In fact, I already am.”

I took a step backward, my heart pounding so loud it drowned out everything else. “Killian, stop this. You’re crossing a line.”

He walked towards me again, his expression calm but terrifying.

“I told you, Serena. If you didn’t want this, you shouldn’t have come here alone. You shouldn’t have trusted me.”

“You tricked me!” I cried. “You used Theo’s name just to get me to this bedroom!”

He shrugged. “It worked, didn’t it? You still came.”

Tears welled up in my eyes. “Please, Killian… don’t do this. Whatever anger you have towards me, don’t let it turn you into someone you’ll regret being.”

He laughed in a mocking tone. Regret? No. I’ve already regretted too many things because of you. This time, you’ll be the one begging for forgiveness.

“Killian…”

Before I could finish, he pushed me down again, his hand gripping my arm tightly. I tried to fight him off, but he was stronger.

“Don’t fight it, Serena,” he said with a chilling calmness. “It’ll look better on camera if you cooperate.”

“Camera?” I repeated, my voice trembling. I turned my head towards the shelf and saw the small red light blinking. My stomach twisted in horror.

“You’re recording this?”

He smirked. “Of course. I need proof. When I release this video, everyone will think you came here because you couldn’t stay away from me. That you begged me to touch you. And when Adrien sees it, he’ll leave you because, obviously, we're still married.”

“No,” I whispered, shaking my head violently. “No, you can’t do that.”

“I can, and I will,” he said coldly. “You should have thought twice before trying to destroy me.”

I struggled under him, my voice breaking. “Killian, please! Don’t do this to me. You’re making a mistake.”

He leaned down, his face inches from mine. “No, Serena. You made the mistake when you thought you could win against me.”

Tears streamed down my face as I felt a wave of helplessness wash over me. My body trembled not just from fear, but from disbelief that the man I once loved, the father of my son, could do something this cruel. Someone who was already acting like he had turned a new leaf.

“Killian,” I whispered, barely able to breathe. “You’ll ruin both of us if you do this.”

He smirked again, completely unmoved. “Only one of us will walk away ruined. And it won’t be me.”

I looked at the blinking red light again, my mind spinning, and my heart racing. Panic flooded every corner of my body as I realized what he intended to do.

He was really going to frame me.

And if that video got out, I could lose everything.
