I’m on the balcony overlooking the hills, they are covered in a deep green grass with white flowers all over, the sun is gleaming overhead. The sight is truly beautiful. We, the Three, live in a space between earth and heaven, it’s not purgatory, it’s just a dimension that exists in between to other dimensions. There are many dimensions, but most not one can enter because they might get lost in the abyss of darkness.
The time has come for the final battle to take place. The Enchantress will die, and order will come from the magic and human worlds. The final battle will take place on an open field in the mid-west of America. It’s an ancient battlefield that is hidden to humans, unless the human knows about magic then they can see the battlefield. Many things are hidden from the humans, the magical world is cloaked, and only the humans that know about magic can see what is normally hidden to most humans.
This battlefield is where all major battles take place in the magical world, well for America at least. Every continent has their own battlefields, headquarters, shops, and whatever else that has to be cloaked for humans. Magical beings started doing this when we realized most humans wouldn’t accept us, and the few who did were persecuted for supporting witches and warlocks.
Thanos, Eva, and I are preparing to go to the manor to tell Emmy and the others that it’s time to prepare for the final battle. Eva plans on reinforcing the protection spell on Emmy and Carter’s child. Thanos is eager for the Enchantress to be dead so that he knows Ariane, his soulmate, and Emmy and Carter’s baby, is safe. Thanos is very protective of his soulmate just like we all would be.
Once at the manor everyone gathers in the main living room. I inform them about the upcoming final battle, where it will be, and give them advice on how they can prepare for the upcoming war. Everyone looks worried and nervous, even though we know we will, we have the advantage over the Enchantress, she’s weak, her army isn’t very strong once we figured out what would weaken them, plus having Kyndle freed is a major help. We’ve got this, but many are still nervous. It's a human emotion that Thanos, Eva, and I don't really understand.
Travis is ready for action, he’s come a long way and he has always been a strong, determined man, and right now that will come in handy. After the meeting I spend time talking with Travis personally. He’s ready to take his mother out, and he’s the leader the team needs right now. As I talked with Travis, Eva enforces the protection spell on Emmy and the baby while Thanos stands guard nearby. Thanos is very protective of Emmy because she is carrying his soulmate. I can’t say I blame him. I would probably be the same way if it was Ivy carrying my soulmate during war. The Three, we wait a long time for our soulmates to be born, so when they finally are born, we still have to wait till they are seventeen. It’s a long process, and it can be lonely waiting for our soulmates to be born and of age.
Once all the questions and conversation are done, we head back home. I’m confident that Travis will kick everyone’s ass into gear and the right frame of mind for war. Travis is the most experienced to help with that, he has been fighting his whole life, he knows how to fight and what to do. The old Travis before Gemma would have been all about saving his own skin, but now he’s changed, I guess the family will do that.
