Chapter 103 Instinct

Chapter 103 Instinct
Sterling tried to jump back, but by the time the fire was out, her legs were already around his waist, twisting with what little strength she has and putting her full weight against the belt, hoping for the knot to come loose or the belt to snap. He shoved at her thighs, but she squeezed harder, digging the bones of her knees beneath his ribs until he cried out. He pulled back, swinging at her face and hitting her forearms when she brought her elbows in.
The rack behind her trembled and rocked. The fuckers never got around to bolting it because Jason hired fuck up after fuck up and Animkii was too busy.
"Fuck!"
"Get her off!"
"Fucking bitch is---Ah!"
The rack tipped. A cool slab of frozen beef slipped over her head. Eggs cracked and crashed against the floor as it came down over both her and Sterling. She let him go when he yanked back one last time and got her feet under her, catching the metal shelf across her back. Her legs buckled, but she loosed the belt enough to slip free and slid through the broken eggs. She grunted under the weight of the rack as his shoved her down and scraped  from beneath it, using the blood and grease a lubrication.
Jason's hand shot out, snatching her around the throat and dragging her from under the rack. She yelped as the weight of it settle don top of her ankle. He shoved her down, looping another belt around her neck.
"No!" Lydia dragged her nails across her face, ripping welts across his cheek and knocking the belt from his hands. "Fuck you!" She slammed the sides of her hands against his temples. He shook it off and slid his hand up her neck over her mouth. She bit down hard, ripping through flesh until blood flooded her mouth.
Jason wailed, rearing back. "You fucking bitch!"
He punched her in the face. Leaving her ears ringing again. She twisted her foot, yanking it free and skinning her exposed shin and losing her shoe.
Jason clutched his bleeding hand and struck her again.
She pushed back through the mess of eggs and frozen meat. A flat slab of ribs burned against her bloodied back, but she anchored her weight on it and pushed hard, sliding between Gavin's legs and away from the three of them until she hit the opposite side and could pull herself up.
Her eyes burned. Her whole body throbbed with pain, but she grit her teeth through it. Those bastards hadn't killed her then, these bastard weren't going to kill her now. She wasn't going to let them rape her. They'd have to pay for it twice. She staggered in front of the racks, searching for something she could use. The world turned spotty inn places. Her hearing went in and out. She couldn't move faster or in a straight line.
Her head throbbed. She was so tired. All she wanted to do was close her eyes, but she couldn't.
She couldn't stop fighting. She couldn't let them win. She grabbed a metal tray and threw it near blindly in the direction of the encroaching figures. Jason got in her face, hand around her throat and up against the wall, ripping her shirt off her body. Then her underwear in a jagged rip. She went for his eyes, but he turned away and pressed his forearm against her throat, pinning her still. A kick, an aborted, too short punch, a weak attempt to writhe against him, the world grew more narrow.
His hand between her legs, fumbling with bloody fingers against the zipper of his pants as it caught in her pubic hair. She clenched her legs together, locking her ankles, still fighting, still clawing and scratching even as she couldn't breathe.
It was going to happen again.
Could she sink beneath those waves again until it was over.
The soft hush of deep blue waters beckoned her. Her eyes drooped. Her body was so heavy as he dug hi grimy fingers into her thigh until it hurt, pulling and grinding his slick, hard penis against the juncture of her thighs, thrusting forward as if that would make her give in.
The freezer door slammed open just as the burn of her resisting muscles turned into a sharp, unbearable pain.
She screamed for help, in fear, and because there was nothing else she could do.

Dorian checked the clock again. She was supposed to be closing, so Dorian would get there right when she should be wrapping up cleaning. The front door might not have even been locked yet. He pulled up in front of the Blue Kudu. The sign was off, but the lights on the floor were still on. The chairs were flipped onto tables, but there was no sign of movement inside.
Before he could put a finger on the source of apprehension he felt, he slipped out of the car. There were three cars parked in front, but only one of them was familiar.
There was a guy on the island from one of the families associated with the underbelly, black market, the Lounge. His car was that awful gaudy red with the stupid racing stripes and the stylized dog on one side.
If that fucker was inside with Lydia...
He rushed to the front door, peering through the windows. There was no sign of anyone. The front door was locked. He banged on the door, but no one came. Stepping on the sill for a better view, he caught the glint of water pushing from the back hallway and pulled out his phone to call Animkii.
"Pep talk?"
"I need the code to the doors of the Kudu."
Animkii rattled it off and told him how to get to the proper door. His stomach twisted into knots. His heart racing as he pleaded with the universe that he was wrong. That she was just washing more dishes than usual or tipped a busing cart by accident.
Once he reached the door and typed in the code, the scent of burnt flesh his nose along with old grease, natural gas, and the sharp tang of blood.
A desperate shriek ripped through the air.
"Call the police, Ani'!"
He ran toward the sound, jumping over fallen pans, sliding through splatters of blood and grease toward the cooling air of what he guessed was a fridge. He burst through the door and saw three hulking figures, Lydia's bruised face, and the scraps of cloth hanging strewn across the ground.
A thick curtain of red fell over his vision. His body charged forward but his mind was miles away, years in the past, charging through the sound of his mamãe, struggling, screaming fighting beneath a heap of bottom feeders, one of them wearing a face so similar to his own with cold hazel eyes.
The words burst out of him in rolling from an unfulfilled past into the present over teeth and tongue as he ripped the man off Lydia and drove his fist into the second man’s face.
"I'll fucking kill you!"
