Epilogue
The Cursed Sisters POV
“The curse is broken sisters. Why are we still here without our soulmates?” Helga asked.
“I don’t know,” Astrid said. She was trying to remember everything that was said to her about the curse by her mother before it was cast.
“Do you think that we missed something?” Brana asked.
“They set Gisla free,” said Marna.
“I think that it’s the second curse,” Gisla spoke up.
“Sister!” they all said at once.
“I am so sorry for all that I have done to you. And all the pain that I have caused. I could not see past my jealousy. Please forgive me, sisters,” she said.
“Of course, we forgive you. Right Astrid?” asked Marna.
Astrid hugged Gisla closely. “Of course, you corrected that wrong. Now tell me of the second curse.”
“After I murdered all of you, your soulmates were heartbroken. They asked the seer to curse my soulmate as well. That curse must be broken for us to all finally be together and leave this realm. We have simply broken our mother's curse. Now we must help them break the soulmate curse.” explained Gisla.
“How do we do that?” asked Helga.
“By helping the humans with our soulmates’ souls meet and mate their runed sexmate,” said Gisla.
“It took us five almost six years to get these sexmates together. I don’t think that I can do that long again,” whined Marna.
Brana sighed, “Where are they?”
“New York. The curse like ours must be lifted by a male from the bloodline of Rosalyn,” Gisla informed them.
“Amelia’s brothers? Which one?” asked Brana.
“Both!” said Gisla. “They've luckily found their sexmates. My soulmate is missing from the group. The twins are actually your soulmate Brana. He somehow was born as twins.”
“Ooh, what is mine named?” Marna asked.
“Zavier,” Gisla replied.
“What is Astrid’s?” Marna asked.
“Zeke. My human Rebecca met all of them. She thought that they were her sexmates and would break the curse,” Gisla said.
“How much of Rebecca was you?” Astrid asked. She already knew that Rebecca wasn’t liked by her own human and that she hurt her a lot.
“Enough that I should have stopped her jealousy and anger,” Gisla said sadly.
“Tell us all of their names, sister!” begged Marna.
“Zeke is Astrid’s soulmate. Mark and Zane are Brana’s soulmates. Zavier is Marna’s soulmate. Zack is Helga’s soulmate. I never met my soulmate because he never appeared, but they spoke of him,” Gisla said sadly.
“Do you know his name? And why are they all Z’s?” Marna asked. She was the youngest and always so excited.
“Zion,” said Gisla. Gisla shrugged in response to the second question.
“They’re all together then?” Astrid asked. Gisla nodded. “Then let’s help their humans find their sexmates so that we can get out of here and be with them.” For years she thought that they had forgotten them. That they had remarried and lived a good life. They stuck together, but why? And would breaking their curse finally free the sisters?
