Chapter 55 First orgasm

Chapter 55 First orgasm
Lilith stood outside Cain’s door for five minutes, her pulse thundering in her ears like a war drum. Her hand hovered, knuckles white, frozen in the air. Inside, she heard the faint creak of floorboards. Cain was pacing, no doubt as restless as she was. The night had been torture: tossing in sweat-damp sheets, replaying every touch, every growl from the training grounds. Her body still ached with unfinished need, core throbbing at the memory of Cain’s thigh pressed between her legs. She couldn’t wait any longer.

She knocked.

The door swung open instantly, as if Cain had been leaning against it, breath held. Her eyes were wild, shadowed with exhaustion and raw hunger. She wore only a loose tunic and pants, hair tousled, muscles taut beneath her skin. “Lilith.” Her voice cracked like gravel under boots. “I didn’t think you’d…”

“I’m sure.”

Cain froze, her breath hitching. “What?”

“You told me to think. To be certain. To unravel what I crave.” Lilith stepped forward, invading Cain’s space, the heat between them igniting like dry tinder. “I’m certain. I want this. I want you. Not as some act of defiance. Not to compare. Just you. Raw, unfiltered, consuming.”

“Lilith…”

“You were right yesterday. About me holding back, playing defence, shrinking myself.” Lilith’s fingers curled into Cain’s tunic, bunching the fabric, pulling her closer. The scent of her. Sweat, steel, and something darkly primal. Flooded Lilith’s senses. “But I’m done. Done with caution. Done denying the fire you light in me.”

“And what do you crave?” Cain’s voice dropped low, a rumble that vibrated through Lilith’s chest.

“You.” The word hung heavy, electric. “All of you. No restraints. No facades. Just us, burning.”

Cain’s restraint visibly shattered, her eyes darkening to molten obsidian. “You have to be dead certain. Because if you cross this threshold, if we ignite this… no undoing it. No feigning ignorance.”

“I know.”

“And Azrael…”

“I’ll face Azrael when the time comes. But here, now?” Lilith yanked her nearer, their bodies brushing, sending sparks racing across her skin. “I’m choosing you.”

That did it. Cain’s walls crumbled. She hauled Lilith inside, slamming the door shut with a kick. In one fluid motion, she pinned her against the wood, body flush, hips grinding instinctively. “Last out,” Cain breathed, lips ghosting Lilith’s ear, hot and teasing. “Last chance to bolt. To rethink. To…”

Lilith crushed her mouth to Cain’s, pouring every ounce of pent-up desire into the kiss. Tongues clashed, teeth nipped, a battle of need that left them both gasping.

Cain groaned deep in her throat, fingers tangling in Lilith’s hair, angling her head to plunder deeper. The kiss was a storm. Fierce, devouring, tasting of salt and want. “You’re sure?” Cain murmured against her swollen lips, voice wrecked.

“Yes.”

“Utterly?”

“Cain.” Lilith pulled back just enough to lock eyes, her hands fisting Cain’s tunic tighter. “Enough questions. I’m here. I’m yours. Take me.”

“Okay.” Cain’s smile flickered, almost fragile in its honesty. “Okay. But we talk first. Before I lose myself in you, we lay it bare.”

“Now you want words?” Lilith arched a brow, but her heart squeezed at the vulnerability in Cain’s gaze.

“Now I need them.” Cain laced their fingers, leading her to the bed. They sat side by side, thighs brushing, the air thick with anticipation. “Because once I touch you properly, I won’t stop. And you need to grasp what this means for me.”

“I’m no delicate flower.”

“I know. But I might be.” Cain’s confession was hushed, stripped bare. “I’m tumbling for you. Hard, reckless, all-in. If we cross this line, if I bury myself in you… It won’t be casual. It’ll wreck me if it’s not real.”

“I’m not demanding pretence.”

“But you’re still tangled. Still feel for Azrael. Still might choose him.” Cain’s jaw clenched, pain flashing. “I need to know if I’m walking into ruin. Suppose this is just your experiment. If I’m…” She faltered. “If I could ever measure up.”

Lilith cupped Cain’s face, thumbs stroking her sharp cheekbones. “You’re no understudy. No runner-up. You’re you. Fierce, unyielding, intoxicating.” She leaned in, brushing a tender kiss. “And I’m falling too. It’s different from him. Wilder, hotter. But just as true. Just as terrifying.”

“So, feelings for us both?” Cain’s eyes searched hers, unflinching.

“Yes.” Truth cut like a blade, but Lilith wouldn’t hide. “And I’m lost on how to thread that needle. What does it spell for tomorrow? But right now, I ache for you. To explore this blaze. To stop overthinking and just drown in it.”

Cain held her gaze, weighing. “And when you depart? Head to the next realm? What then?”

“I don’t know. That’s weeks away. Can we seize this moment? Without tomorrow’s shadows?”

“I’m no moment-liver. I plot. I scheme. I need contingencies…”

Lilith silenced her with another kiss, hands roaming Cain’s sides. “Here’s your scheme: Tonight, we combust. Tomorrow, we navigate the ashes. But now? I’m picking you. Us.”

Cain’s defences dissolved like mist in flame. “Okay,” she whispered, voice thick. “Okay. Just… patience. I haven’t opened like this in aeons. Haven’t let anyone in. If I fumble…”

“You won’t.”

“You can’t know.”

“I do.” Lilith rose, tugging Cain with her. “Because you’re fire incarnate. Brutal truth. Everything I crave.”

Cain’s hands settled on Lilith’s waist, squeezing possessively. “Sure?”

“If you ask once more…”

“Sorry. I just…” Cain cut off, surrendering. “I need this real. You're here because you burn for it, not pity or…”

“Cain.” Lilith’s palms slipped under Cain’s tunic, grazing hot, taut skin. Muscles jumped under her touch. “I burn for you. Stop doubting. Kiss me.”

Cain obeyed.

The kiss exploded. No tenderness, just primal hunger. Tongues battled, lips bruised, breaths ragged. Cain’s hands roved, yanking Lilith’s shirt over her head, exposing bare skin to the cool air. Her mouth followed, trailing fire down Lilith’s neck, sucking marks that bloomed like bruises.

Lilith gasped, nails digging into Cain’s shoulders. “More.”

Cain growled, shoving Lilith back onto the bed. She stripped her own tunic, revealing a body honed by centuries of war. Scarred, powerful, breasts full and nipples hardening under Lilith’s stare. “You’re stunning,” Cain rasped, eyes devouring Lilith’s curves. “So fucking stunning.”

“So are you.” Lilith traced a scar across Cain’s abdomen, down to her hips.

Cain laughed, low and rough. “I’m battered. Worn.”

“Perfect.” Lilith hooked fingers in Cain’s pants, tugging them down. Cain kicked them off, standing naked, arousal glistening between her thighs.

Lilith shed her own clothes, heart pounding as Cain’s gaze raked over her. Breasts heaving, core slick and aching. Cain crawled over her, bodies aligning, skin scorching skin. “I really, really crave you,” Cain murmured, nipping Lilith’s collarbone.

She kissed lower, mouth latching onto a nipple, sucking hard while her hand teased the other, pinching until Lilith arched, moaning. “Cain… fuck…”

“Tell me what you need.” Cain’s voice vibrated against her skin, hand sliding down, fingers dipping into Lilith’s wetness, circling her clit with expert pressure.

“You. Inside me. Now.”

Cain grinned, feral. Two fingers thrust in, curling to hit that spot that made stars burst behind Lilith’s eyes. She pumped slowly at first, building rhythm, thumb rubbing her clit in tight circles. Lilith’s hips bucked, chasing the friction, walls clenching around Cain’s fingers.

“You’re so wet for me,” Cain groaned, mouth moving to Lilith’s other breast, teeth grazing. “So tight. Gods, you feel incredible.”

Lilith’s hands fisted in Cain’s hair, pulling her up for a messy kiss as Cain fucked her harder, adding a third finger, stretching her deliciously. Pressure built, coiling tight in her belly. “Cain… I’m close…”

“Come for me.” Cain’s free hand pinned Lilith’s hip, thrusting deeper, faster. “Let go, sunshine.”

Lilith shattered, orgasm crashing over her in waves, crying out Cain’s name as her body convulsed, soaking Cain’s hand.

Cain didn’t stop, riding it out, then withdrawing slowly, licking her fingers clean with a wicked smile. “Tastes like heaven.”

Panting, Lilith flipped them, straddling Cain’s hips. “My turn.”

She kissed down Cain’s body, lavishing attention on scars, nipples, and the dip of her navel. Cain writhed, hands gripping the sheets. Lilith settled between her thighs, inhaling her musky scent, then dove in. Tongue flat against Cain’s clit, licking slowly, then sucking.

Cain bucked, moaning. “Lilith… yes…”

Fingers joined, plunging into Cain’s heat, curling as she lapped relentlessly. Cain’s thighs trembled, clamping around Lilith’s head. “Fuck… right there…”

Lilith hummed, vibrations sending Cain over the edge. She came hard, back arching, fingers tangling in Lilith’s hair as she rode the high, juices coating Lilith’s chin.

They collapsed, breathless, tangled. Cain pulled Lilith close, kissing her lazily, tasting themselves on each other’s lips.

“That was…” Lilith gasped.

“Yeah.” Cain traced lazy patterns on her back. “It was.”

Silence wrapped them, warm and sated.

“Still sure?” Cain teased softly.

Lilith laughed. “Beyond sure. Stop.”

“Can’t. Brain’s wired.” Cain’s touch turned tender. “Thank you… for this. For trusting.”

“No thanks needed. I craved it. You.” Lilith propped up, eyes soft. “No regrets.”

“Even with Azrael lingering?”

“Even then.” A kiss. “This doesn’t erase him, but it doesn’t diminish you. You’re both… vital.”

“Impossible choice?”

“Maybe.” Quiet admission. “Awful?”

“Honest.” Cain held her tighter. “I’ll take truth, even if it stings.”

“Does it? Knowing I feel for him too?”

“Guts me.” Raw. “But I’d rather share you than lose you. Risk it all for moments like this.”

“Brave.”

“Desperate.” Bitter chuckle. “You make me gamble everything.”

Quietly settled, bodies cooling.

“Now what?” Lilith murmured.

“Sleep. Tomorrow, complications.” Cain kissed her forehead. “Tonight? Just us.”

“I like that.”

“Good. Not releasing you till dawn.”

“Promise?”

Cain’s laugh echoed softly. “Sleep, sunshine. Tomorrow’s chaos.”

“Always is.”

“True.” Tighter hold. “But tonight? Perfection.”

“It was.”

Lilith drifted off, safe in Cain’s embrace. Warm. Fulfilled. Tangled.

But perfect.
