Chapter 333
Anna POV
I rushed forward, but several women blocked my path.
This area is reserved for Mr. Hamilton, one stated coldly. “Please don’t approach.”
Another crash came from inside, followed by Emily’s sobbing.
“Move! My friend is in there!” i demanded.
The woman pushed me back. “Please return, or we’ll have to escort you out.”
Something in me snapped. “Who the hell do you think you’re touching?” I shoved back, sending her stumbling into her colleagues. “Get out of my way!”
Melissa stepped between us. “Ms. Anderson, I’ll handle them. Go get your friend!”
As I moved past, I heard Melissa warning them: “Do you know who she is? The CEO of BlueWave Technologies and Blake Wright’s wife!”
Their faces paled instantly.
“Thank you, Melissa,” I said gratefully before rushing toward the private room.
Inside, I found Emily, her face tear–stained and makeup ruined, screaming at Ethan.
“Why won’t you let me come here? I paid the fee! I’m a member too! What right do you have to keep me out?” Her voice was hoarse from shouting.
Ethan sneered. “You think you can afford this place? You can barely make the membership fee…”
Emily wiped her tears. “I just wanted to know what you were doing…”
“You think I want to deal with you?” Ethan snarled. “If you hadn’t snuck downstairs, I wouldn’t even care! Do you know what happened to the last person who went down there without permission?”
He formed his hand into a gun shape and pressed it against Emily’s temple. “Bang! Their brains would be splattered everywhere! Understand?”
Emily froze, trembling violently.
Ethan leaned in to whisper something in her ear. I watched as Emily’s expression shifted from terror to utter despair.
My heart ached seeing my friend so broken. I stepped into the room.
Ethan! Let her go!” I commanded.
Emily’s head snapped up. “Anna… how did you…” Tears welled in her eyes again.
‘Emily, I’m taking you home,” I said firmly.
Ethan released her, slouching back onto a leather sofa with a smirk. “I forgot–this one has the BlueWave Technologies CEO backing her up!”
He looked at me with contempt. ‘Keep your friend in line. She doesn’t belong around me. Even as a bastard son, I’m too good for her!*
‘Get out!” he shouted at Emily. “Don’t let me see your face again!”
Emily stood shakily, her eyes hard despite her tears. “You’re garbage. I was wrong about you.”
She grabbed my hand, squeezing it with surprising strength. Her eyes flickered meaningfully–she had something to tell me.

I nodded slightly, “Let’s gu
At the doorway, Emily turned back to Ethan. This is the last time I’ll ever look at you.
Ethan laughed harshly. “Like I care! Get lost!
Melissa escorted us safely to my car, checking to make sure no one followed. Once inside, Entily whispered, “Can we trust Melissa?”
I nodded. “Yes.”
Emily pulled a small device from her purse and pressed it into my hand. “I recorded this on the third floor, You might find it useful.
“Emily,” I scolded, “that was incredibly dangerous! Don’t ever do something like that again! Do you understand how risky that was?”
She pouted. “I was angry! He said I wasn’t good enough for him–like I even wanted him!” Her eyes welled up again. “But he used to be so nice to me… why is he different now?”
I hugged her tightly. “Don’t think about it anymore. Promise me you’ll stay away from him.”
Michael’s POV:
I leaned against my car outside Emily’s apartment building, waiting for Ms. Anderson to emerge. It had been hours since she went up with Emily. Finally, around 10 PM, she appeared.
‘Ms. Anderson, you’re finally out,” I said, pushing away from the car.
One of my men stepped forward to take the device from her hand. “We’ll handle this properly.”
I fixed her with a serious look. “You didn’t watch it, did you?”
‘If you told me not to look, I didn’t,” she replied. “Why so serious?”
“The situation is grave,” I explained. “The less you know, the better for your safety.”
“Thank you for your concern,” she said softly.
As we said our goodbyes, a panicked young woman ran up to me.
“Officer! I need to report something! There’s a suspicious man in the hallway upstairs–he scared me to death!”
“What did he look like?” I asked, immediately alert.
“Tall, intimidating, using the stairs instead of the elevator,” she described, still catching her breath.
My mind immediately went to the possibility that Frank Hamilton knew about the leaked recordings from his club and had sent someone to cause trouble for Emily. I dispatched two of my men to investigate.
“Don’t worry,” I assured the frightened girl, handing her a tissue. “We’ve sent people to check. You’re safe now.” I smiled reassuringly. “Someone will take your statement.”
After making sure the girl was taken care of, I turned to my team. “Have two men follow Ms. Anderson. Make sure she gets home safely.
Twenty minutes later, I received a call that made my blood run cold.
“Captain, Ms. Anderson didn’t go home. She returned to ‘Secret Space.”
“What?!” I shouted. “Turn around! We’re going back there now!
