Annay POV:
My hand moved thythmically along Blake’s shaft, the heat of his skin burning against my fingers. I stared at the wall in front of me trying to da myself from what I was doing.
Faster, Blake murmured, his breath warm against my ear.
Blake, can you just hurry?” I pleaded, my wrist aching. “I want to leave.”
“If I rush, I won’t be able to finish, he replied, his voice thick with need. “You’re not making this easy.”

“Anna, I’m sorry,” he whispered, his tone suddenly serious. “For everything I’ve done to hurt you.”

Taking a deep breath, I faced him. “The person who got hurt wasn’t you, Blake. You can’t understand luck. Just stop this nonsense.”

His eyes widened in shock.
“Blake, it wasn’t my body that failed our baby. Caroline made sure I couldn’t carry our baby on purpose!”
Blake’s POV:
The room fell silent. My world stopped.
“What did you just say?” I grabbed her shoulders, staring into her eyes. “Say that again! How is that possible? I drank those too!”
I demanded, voice rising. “Why didn’t you terminate when you were carrying Nora?”

“No wonder your delivery was so hard,” I whispered, horror washing over me. “You suffered so much and never told me!” My hands shook with rage. “I’ll make them pay. Every single one!”
I straightened my clothes and then stumbled towards the door, hands trembling too much to turn the handle.
