Blake’s POV:
I watched Anna sitting inside the car, deliberately keeping her distance from me
She’s always like this now, growing colder towards me since the divorce. How could she be this way? She’s clearly mine
I moved closer to her, my eyes tracing the elegant line of her neck.
I couldn’t resist reaching out to caress her cheek. She immediately pulled away, I didn’t care about her resistance.
My fingers slid down her shoulder, then along her arm. Her skin was still so soft, so familiar.
I deliberately placed my hand on her thigh, feeling het body instantly tense up.
Take your hand off, Blake,” she said coldly, but I could hear the tremor in her voice.
I ignored her, my fingers drawing light circles on her leg, watching her expression change from anger to panic.
‘I won’t believe a single word you say. You have no credibility with me anymore,” she said, her tone ice–cold as she forcefully pushed my hand away.
“Why don’t you believe me?” I deliberately slowed my voice, looking into her eyes. I knew this tone always made her waver.
I grabbed her hand again, despite her struggle, and placed it in the gap between my shirt buttons. “I’m not lying to you. I’m burning up.”
She instinctively tried to pull her hand back, but I wouldn’t let this moment of contact slip away.
I continued holding her hand against my chest, deliberately letting out a muffled groan. These little tricks used to work before.
Instead, she curled her fingers, scratching several bloody marks on my chest. The pain made me both angry and excited.
I released her hand, directly taking off my jacket and vest, starting to unbutton my shirt. I wanted her to see what she once couldn’t resist.
“You never used to hurt me before. Only when I really drove you wild would you bite my chest, making me unable to get enough of you, wishing you’d never let go,” I said, looking into her eyes, deliberately recalling our most intimate moments.
Her expression grew complicated – there it was, she still had feelings for me.
She cleared her throat, purposely looking away. “Put your clothes back on. We shouldn’t be talking like this anymore. Besides, today you were the one who
first-”
I cut her off, “Anna, between the two of us, you were the one who came after
me.”
I wanted her to remember it was she who first walked into my life; she couldn’t just leave like this.
I grabbed her hand again and pressed it to my chest. “Go ahead and scratch me if you can be so cruel.”
I guided her hand over my abs, making her remember the spark between us. “Anna, do you really have no feelings for me anymore? Do I have to find out myself? You do have feelings for me, I can feel your reaction.”
I suddenly wrapped my arm around her waist, letting my hand stroke down to her stomach and toward her inner thighs, whispering in her ear, “I switched to this car especially for you. We’ve done it here many times. I don’t believe you’ve forgotten.”
She angrily pushed me away. “You’re acting like a scoundrel!” Then she slapped me across the face.
The pain instantly drained my desire, replaced by anger.
“Seth isn’t a scoundrel? He took advantage of the situation. You’re my woman

what right does he have to even think about you!”

Chapter 177
“We’re divorced. You just can’t stand seeing me happy. I always thought we could at least leave each other with some dignity, but it send you want to
destroy me my career, my relationships you don’t want to leave me with anything.
–
Her words stabbed me like knives.
*Anna, when you’re with me, you have everything. I’ve never treated you poorly.”
I gave her the best of everything, and she chose to leave me,
She took a deep breath, her voice shaking. “Blake, what exactly do you want from me? What will it take for you to let me go?”
I laughed. “If I let you go, who will let me go? Who will let Seth go? Only you can save him now.” I saw the panic flash in her eyes stung me.
“Blake! What do you mean?” Her anxiety both satisfied and made me jealous.
concern for Seth. It
I didn’t answer, instead methodically buttoning up my shirt and putting my jacket back on. I could feel her watching me, which pleased me.
“Blake, tell me now!” she urged, her eyes full of worry for Seth.
I pretended to rest with my eyes closed, my tone carrying dissatisfaction, “I’m sick, but I don’t see you this concerned about me.
She was silent for a moment, then pressed the car intercom button. “Pull over.”
I immediately opened my eyes. “You have no patience for me anymore!” Why was she always trying to leave me?
“We’re already separated. What are you still upset about? Tell the driver to stop the car. I’m leaving.” Her calmness infuriated me more.
I interrupted her thoughts, “I can let you get out.”
Then I revealed Seth’s predicament, “Do you know what condition he agreed to with his father? If he can’t prove his capabilities within three months, he must go abroad for an arranged business marriage, or give up his inheritance rights to the Price family business!”
“The Price family will completely abandon him, using him only as a marriage pawn. His family business will go to his brother, who is, after all, the firstborn.”
“Anna, he has feelings for you. Do you think I would stand by and watch? His fate is in your hands now. You can get out of the car, but he’s such a proud man – do you want him to lose everything?”
Anna’s expression changed. I saw the shock on her face. “Are you threatening me?” she asked.
“I’m not threatening you. I said the choice is yours,” I calmly replied.
She knew I had the power to destroy Seth.
“Blake, are you doing this because of my body? You still find me fresh and alluring?” she asked.
I grabbed her chin, looking her over. “You’re really confident about yourself!”
Though I did still desire her intensely, this wasn’t just physical attraction.
“You basically just want me to come back and be your wife again?” She cut straight to my intention.
I was silent. Yes, I wanted her back. She was mine, always would be.
Divorce was just a piece of paper; it couldn’t change that fact.
She looked at me seriously. “If you hold a press conference admitting that everything was your and Claire’s fault, confess your deep love for me, promise to cut ties with Claire for good, and then get down on one knee and propose again… I might consider it.”
