Horse Riding 84
The night on the prairie brought a slight chill, but if one were to light a bonfire, it would be bright and warm. There were some herdsmen on the grassland who couldn't stay in the city for long. They would set up tents on the prairie for the convenience of tending to their cattle and sheep.
At this moment, Selena was wearing a red Jarll dress that showcased her slender figure. She was learning to season the meat just like the locals. It was the first time she had seen this method of roasting meat outdoors, and she was very curious. After seasoning two skewers, she handed them to Lucio, who had already prepared some, and he put them on a plate for her to take.
The beef was roasted to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, emitting a tantalizing aroma that wafted into Selena's nose. She couldn't help but take a bite of one skewer.
So delicious and spicy, Selena couldn't help but take another two bites before having an idea. Then, she leaned against the sweaty man roasting beside her and brought the skewer of meat to his mouth. Lucio stopped moving the meat upon seeing her, gave her a glance. With a smile of satisfaction, he opened his mouth to take a bite of the meat, but just as he was about to bite into it, Selena gestured with her hand, made a half-circle motion, and withdrew the skewer of meat. Then, she brought it to her own mouth and took a bite.
Listening to the laughter of the woman beside him, before she could escape, the man reached out and firmly pulled her into his arms, then fiercely covered her with his mouth, swallowing every bit of the meat residue from the bold woman's mouth, sucking on Selena's tongue for a while before releasing her.
Meanwhile, the people nearby smiled kindly at the affectionate couple. The Taja couple were Lucio's old friends. Lucio had saved Taja in the grassland years ago, and seeing his pitiful state, had given him some money. Now Taja had married and was raising a large herd of cattle and sheep on the grassland, living a flavorful life. Taja was also skilled in carving and polishing jade, and the only piece of jade was entrusted to him.
Carving and polishing would take at least two days, so Lucio decided to stay with Selena. They arrived just in time for the bonfire gathering in the evening.
"Selena, have some hot milk. The nights on the prairie are a bit cold, and drinking more can help resist the chill." Selena had eaten a few skewers of meat and was feeling a bit greasy, so she nodded and accepted the steaming milk, taking small sips.
At that moment, a girl of eighteen or nineteen walked over. When she saw Selena, her eyes lit up, and she greeted, "Lily, I heard your family has new guests today. Why didn't you tell me? My family has fresh milk. I can bring some over for you. Is your guest married? If not, I can introduce myself."
Taja's wife smiled and replied, "Thank you for your kindness, Nacia. We have plenty of sheep's milk at home.y husband's guest is already married. He came with his wife this time."
After saying that, he pointed to Selena, who was sitting on the ground, and said, "This is the guest's wife, Selena..."
Upon hearing this, Selena set down the food in her hand, wiped her hands clean, and stood up to look at the woman. It must be said that Jarll's livestock must be plentiful in milk production, or perhaps it was the fertile land and water that nurtured them, although this girl couldn't be described as particularly fair-skinned, she was mostly plump and well-proportioned.
Compared to the girl in front of her, Selena was of average size. The girl's boobs was astonishingly large, seeming almost ready to burst with each movement. Her skin was tanned and somewhat dry, probably from spending so much time outdoors tending to the cattle and sheep. She had some freckles on her face, and her teeth were slightly yellow from eating too many grilled meat skewers.
Upon hearing that the courageous man had a wife, or perhaps being taken aback by Selena's beauty, the girl stared at her with wide eyes, unable to react. It was only when Selena greeted Lily and said she was going over to Lucio after eating that the girl exclaimed loudly, "Oh my, how can a woman like you be worthy of a brave man? I could bear four or five children for him, but with your figure, you couldn't even bear one?"
Selena's expression immediately changed. Children were her Achilles' heel. To say she couldn't bear even one was more painful than being slapped in the face. Lily saw that Nacia was talking without thinking and quickly stopped her, whispering a few words to her before dismissing her.
Then she whispered to Selena, "Madam, Nacia is an ambitious and opinionated girl, and she's bold, and I'm afraid she might do something foolish. Madam, you'd better stay by Mr. Simeone's side."
Selena stared at Nacia's figure and silently cursed her as an unreasonable girl. Thanking Lily for the reminder, she went to Lucio's side and affectionately fed him two skewers of grilled meat. Then she hooked her arm around his neck and said, "I've eaten too much and my stomach feels uncomfortable. How about we take a ride around? The night on the prairie is so beautiful..." She coquettishly pleaded, and Lucio fell for it, especially when she looked at him pitifully while holding his arm.
The night on Jarll's prairie was incredibly beautiful. The vast night sky was illuminated by a bright moon, casting a snowy silver glow. The sound of horses running on the lush, soft grass seemed to fade away.
