THIRTY-FIVE
As Taylor descended the stairs, Taylor could smell the rich aroma of freshly brewed beans wafting up from the kitchen below.
She was still feeling the afterglow of Johnson's attentions and she could feel the wetness that remained between her legs. She slowly ran her fingers over her inner thighs, savoring the sensation as it sent a shiver down her spine.
Without thinking Taylor brought her hand to rest on top of her robe, allowing it to wander underneath until it made contact with the warmth of her body. She then pulled back slightly and brought two fingers up to smell them, inhaling deeply as she savored their musky aroma.
Taylor smiled contentedly as she remembered all that hadhappened.
She stepped into the kitchen and made her way over to the counter where her coffee maker was waiting for her. Taylor opened a canister filled with dark roast grounds and scooped some out into a filter before placing it in its holder inside the machine. She then poured fresh water into its reservoir before pressing down on start button, bringing it to life with an electric hum as it began brewing.
As she waited for her drink to be ready, she grabbed a mug from the cupboard and placed it on the counter. She then filled a small bowl with milk and sugar before setting it down next to her mug. With everything in place, Taylor leaned against the counter, watching as the coffee maker slowly dripped its dark liquid into her awaiting vessel.
When it was done, Taylor carefully poured some of the steaming hot brew into her mug before adding a splash of milk and a spoonful of sugar. She stirred until all ingredients were combined before taking a sip and savoring its rich flavor as she walked over to the living room.
Taylor sat on the couch, sipping her coffee and scrolling through her phone when the front door opened. Amanda walked in, followed by a beautiful blonde girl with a bandage wrapped around her head.
"Taylor! You're back!" Amanda exclaimed, rushing over to where Taylor was sitting.
Taylor put her coffee down and stood up, a smile spreading across her face.
As she approached Taylor, Amanda took a deep breath, inhaling the sweet scent of coffee mixed with Taylor's perfume. But beneath that, she detected a more primal scent - the unmistakable aroma of sex.
Amanda knew that Taylor and Johnson had been intimate, and she could sense it in the air around her. She could smell the lingering scent of Johnson's cologne mixed with Taylor's perfume, and it made her smile.
Taylor blushed as Amanda sniffed the air around her, knowing that she could smell the sexual tension between her and Johnson. But at the same time, Taylor felt a little embarrassed, knowing that Amanda could sense what had happened between her and her brother.
Amanda gave Taylor a knowing smirk, her eyes gleaming with mischief.
"So, you're back together, huh?" she said, her voice filled with amusement.
Taylor nodded, feeling a little awkward. "Yeah, we worked things out," she said, trying to keep her voice steady.
Amanda leaned in closer, her nose almost touching Taylor's. "I can smell that," she said, her voice dropping to a whisper.
Taylor blushed even harder, feeling embarrassed and exposed.
Taylor's eyes roamed over the woman standinh a few paces from where the two say, taking in every detail of Lyra's body. She couldn't help but feel a little jealous of the beautiful blonde standing in front of her. Lyra was taller than Taylor, with long legs and a slender figure. Her sparkling green eyes shone with a mixture of pain and vulnerability.
Taylor wondered who Lyra was, and why she was in Johnson's house. She knew that Johnson was the type of guy to let just anyone into his home, but the fact that Lyra was there meant she was close enough to him to be invited over.
Taylor glanced at Lyra's bandaged head and wondered what had happened to her. Lyra shifted under Taylor's scrutiny, looking uncomfortable
Taylor felt a pang of jealousy, thinking of the possibility that Johnson had been with Lyra while they were not together.
It didn't help that Lyra was clearly older than Amanda, and was obviously not from her school, and it made Taylor wonder if she was some kind of experienced seductress who was here to steal Johnson away from her.
As these thoughts swirled around in Taylor's head, she tried to remain calm and composed on the outside.
"Oh, this is Lyra,” Amanda introduced.
"Lyra, this is Taylor, ny brother's girlfriend.
Lyra moved forward and said hello.
"Nice to meet you, Lyra," she said, smiling politely.
Amanda must have sensed Taylor's unease because she quickly cleared up any misunderstanding.
"I kind of almost ran her over with my car two days ago, that's how we got to know each other.
"Oh…. I'm sorry to hear about that. Are you feeling better?" Taylor asked, trying to sound as cool as possible.
Lyra managed a smile and a nod despite her throbbing head.
Despite this, Taylor's skepticism remained. She watched Lyra closely, trying to gauge her intentions, but couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more going on.
However, her unease was quickly dispelled when Amanda referred to Johnson as "my brother's" girlfriend, rather than "Johnson's" or "Jay's." Taylor felt a wave of relief wash over her as she realized that Amanda was not as close to Johnson as she had initially feared.
Taylor's mind had been racing with thoughts of Johnson potentially cheating on her with Lyra, and this small reassurance was enough to calm her nerves. She felt a weight lift off her shoulders as she realized that she had been overthinking things.
“But she's here to see Johnson though," Amanda added, dropping a bomb.
When Amanda mentioned that Lyra was here to see Johnson, Taylor's skepticism deepened. She couldn't help but wonder if Johnson had been seeing Lyra while they were broken up. It was a painful thought, and Taylor tried to push it aside, but it lingered at the back of her mind.
As the conversation between Taylor, Amanda, and Lyra continued, the sound of footsteps echoed through the house. The three women turned their heads to see Johnson descending the stairs in his black pajamas, with a phone to his ear.
His eyes met Taylor's briefly before he looked away, clearly not in the mood for extra company. He sighed tiredly as he made his way back up the stairs, still on his phone.
Amanda got up from her seat and ran up the stairs in the same direction he had just gone.
