Chapter 91 In order to give you a gift
Brandon looked at her, "Your explanations always sound like excuses. Are you doing this on purpose? Why should I believe you, Victoria? Are you provoking me because you know I can't do anything to you now? Where is my spare card?"
Victoria lowered her head and quickly took out the spare card from her pocket, walked over cautiously, and placed it on the table.
He snatched the spare card and threw it aside, continuing to stare at her. "You dare to take back the spare card this time, what about next time? Victoria, I underestimated you. You even brought your marriage certificate with you when you went out. Give me the certificate." He reached out his hand.
Victoria quickly covered her bag. "What are you doing? This is mine. Don't you have one too? Why do you need my marriage certificate?"
"Don't you want to use my identity to deceive others?"
Brandon narrowed his eyes.
Victoria bit her lip. "No, I didn't lie. The marriage certificate has legal effect. Why can't I use it? If you don't want me to use it, just divorce me. I'll divorce you and stay far away from you."
Brandon's eyes darkened. Did she really want a divorce?
"Fine, get rid of the illegitimate child in your belly, and I'll let you use the marriage certificate. Or if you want a divorce, I agree."
"You..."
Victoria felt that this man was unreasonable.
She gritted her teeth, angrily slammed the marriage certificate on the table.
"Here, take it. Don't worry, I won't use it again in the future."
After speaking, she turned around and walked out in big strides.
Brandon was seeing their marriage certificate for the first time. After all, he didn't handle it himself and had never thought to look at it. As he opened it, he saw the wooden expression on it and knew that it was done by the Duncan Family. The pieced-together photos looked strange, but it did have his and Victoria's name on it, proving their relationship.
Victoria was also angry. As she walked out, she remembered that she still had the gift for Brandon in her pocket. She took out the box and threw it at Elijah as he approached her. "This is for Brandon, to repay him for the last time he invited me to dinner."
"Erm, Miss, aren't you going to give it to him in person?"
"Give it to him? I'll throw it in the trash myself!"
Elijah quickly caught the box and watched as Victoria stormed out. He was confused about what had happened between them.
He quickly arrived at Brandon's door.
"Sir, how did you manage to upset Miss again?"
"Don't mention Victoria to me. Get out of here," Brandon said, glaring at him.
"Does that mean you don't want this, sir?"
Elijah took out the box.
Brandon was slightly taken aback. "What is that?"
"It's a gift from Miss for you. She went to the mall today just to buy this gift for you, but she didn't get a chance to give it to you before you got angry and drove her away."
Brandon's expression changed as he clearly hadn't expected this.
Elijah spoke up, "Since you told me to leave, I'll take the gift with me too."
"Wait, give it back to me," Brandon lowered his voice.
Elijah sighed inwardly and handed over the gift.
"I heard it was Miss Evans who stopped Miss Victoria from buying this, that's why they had an argument," Elijah explained.
Brandon looked at the gift, a delicate-looking pen. It felt good in his hand. Victoria bought him a gift? He furrowed his brows and asked, "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"
Elijah was speechless, "You didn't give me a chance to say anything, and you already drove Miss Victoria away... why don't you go and make it up to her?"
Richard listened and stared at the pen for a long time, lost in thought. Meanwhile, Victoria lay on her bed, feeling very angry. She regretted buying him a gift.
Suddenly, there was a noise at the door. She looked up and saw Brandon standing there. He seemed like he wanted to come in, but didn't. It made Victoria feel uneasy.
"What are you doing?" she asked as she continued to lie there. Brandon's gaze fell on her nightgown. It wasn't in a good position, and he could see what she was wearing underneath.
His throat moved involuntarily, "I received the gift," he said in a hoarse voice that he didn't notice.
It was because of this that she came, "If you don't want it, you can give it back to me." She got up and tried to take it back from him.
Brandon leaned to the side and she missed, almost falling. She let out a cry of surprise, but then felt his strong arms catch her.
Her mouth hit his chest and it hurt a little.
She looked up and saw him holding onto her arm, slowly pulling her in, not wanting to let go.
His once sharp black eyes now looked like burning flames.
"You..."
He hugged her waist and bit her lips.
She didn't react until they fell onto the bed.
After catching her breath, she pushed him away with a red face.
"What are you doing!"
"Don't wear this dress next time." He glanced at her dress. Victoria was stunned, "Isn't this a normal nightgown? Mind your own business, I'm not your Diana."
Brandon's heart sank and he blocked her mouth again.
He held her hand, fingers tightly intertwined.
Victoria looked at his black eyes, like a whirlpool, drawing her in.
Her rational mind told her not to look, but her hand, under his gaze, couldn't help but loosen. His delicate face even seemed to carry the scent of hormones with every breath.
Not to mention he was already such an outstanding man.
He lowered his head and said, "I know you wanted me when I arrived."
The sound made Victoria's head ring.
The next day, Victoria woke up with a red face.
Fortunately, Brandon was no longer there.
Brandon came to the company with a pen and said, "Give that pen to Victoria."
Elijah hesitated, "Sir, why don't you get another card for Miss Victoria?"
"His mind really isn't suited for love," Elijah thought. Brandon looked up, "Why?"
It was his spare card, and many people wanted it.
"What are you thinking, sir? Giving something you gave to another woman to Miss Victoria, how would you feel if you were a woman... Would you be happy?"
Brandon's face darkened.
"Then... get her a new one."
"Yes, sir."
Grayson quickly came in and said to Brandon, "Hey, you seem to be in a good mood today. Something good happen?"
Brandon replied, "No, nothing."
However, everything from yesterday flashed through his mind. It was strange, but seeing her made him have an irresistible impulse. It shouldn't be that way.
