Chapter 184

Chapter 184

I naturally hooked my arm around Jason's neck, staring at his charming handsome face, and couldn't help but laugh.

"What are you laughing at?"

"No matter how many times I look, I still think your face is the best-looking."

Jason raised an eyebrow, "Only my face?"

My fingers slowly traced circles on his chest as I drawled, "Of course, I'm also very satisfied with your body."

Jason's thin lips curved up, and a deep, magnetic laugh rumbled from his chest.

"You know my body best—how many abs I have, how many moles are on my body, even how long it takes—you know it all clearly."

He looked at me deeply, "You've observed me plenty in bed."

My cheeks instantly burned hot!

I tried to look calm as I faced him, "How do you know what I said that day?"

Jason raised an eyebrow, "Kelly posted a video in the group chat."

He lowered his head and kissed my lips, "Sue, this is the first time I realized your mouth is so impressive—so soft when kissing, yet so good at mocking people?"

I was extremely embarrassed. I opened my mouth, hesitating for a long while before asking, "Did you hear me frame you? When I said you called Flora disgusting?"

Jason nodded frankly, "I heard it."

I silently buried my head in Jason's chest.

Great, this was truly humiliating.

Jason chuckled softly, "It's okay, you spoke my mind."

I felt no comfort at all—instead, I felt even more embarrassed.

The next morning.

I brought out a plate of pie from the kitchen.

Just then Jessica came down from upstairs. I smiled, "Jessica, good morning."

"Morning, Mom."

Jessica sweetly greeted me and climbed onto her chair.

Jason also came out of the kitchen carrying milk.

After all three of us sat down, I suddenly thought of something. While cutting pie for Jessica, I asked, "What did Dad take you to eat yesterday?"

Yesterday, to keep Lily company, after picking up Jessica from school, I sent her to Glacier Corp for Jason to look after her.

The father and daughter had dinner together too.

Jessica first glanced at Jason before answering, "Steak."

Jason looked up at her, his eyes somehow showing approval.

I asked, "Was it good?"

Jessica nodded hard, "Delicious!"

I smiled.

I didn't expect Jason to be quite experienced with kids.

Looks like I can let Jason take care of her more often in the future so Lily and I can go out together.

After breakfast, I got a call from Lily.

"Sue, I happen to be free today, let's go indoor rock climbing!"

She sounded pretty energetic—seems like she and Ryan got along well last night.

But I didn't agree right away. Instead, I held my phone and turned to ask Jason's opinion, "Lily's inviting us to go rock climbing."

Jason crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow at Jessica, "What about her?"

"I want to go too!"

Jessica looked at me with bright eyes.

Jason asked her, "Do you even know what rock climbing is and you already want to go?"

"Of course, I've seen it on my iPad before, it looks really fun!"

After saying this, Jessica ran straight to my side, hugged my leg, and looked up at me pleadingly, "Mom, Mom, can you take me too, please!"

I smiled and patted her head, "Of course."

Then I said into the phone, "See you in a bit then."

"OK!"

We arrived a bit later than Lily.

By the time we got to the climbing gym, Lily and Ryan had already changed into their gear.

Lily waved hard at us, "Over here!"

When she saw Jessica, her eyes instantly lit up. She ran over in three quick steps and scooped up Jessica, planting a big kiss on her little face.

"Jessica's here too! I missed you so much, let me give you a kiss!"

Jessica obediently let her kiss her, "Lily, Ryan."

Ryan also walked over with a smile and ruffled her hair, "You guys go change into your gear too. We'll go try it out first."

With that, Ryan took Lily's hand and walked away.

I watched their intimate backs and blinked.

Did these two make up?

From how Lily looked before, I thought these two were going to break up for good.

Jason turned my face toward him, his tone serious, "Don't look at other men, look at me."

I said, "..."

"Jason, you're so childish."

Jason curved his lips but didn't argue, instead taking my hand, "Let's go."

After our family of three changed into our gear, I was about to stay with Jessica.

But Jason was faster than me.

He found a coach for Jessica.

I don't know how to rock climb myself.

Having a professional coach guide Jessica was naturally the best option.

Jessica waved at me and went off with the coach to the children's climbing area.

Jason pulled me toward the adult area.

I was a bit worried and kept turning back to look.

"Jessica is a very independent child, relax."

I wanted to argue with him, but thinking about it, he was right, so I shut my mouth.

Arriving at the adult area, I looked up at the protruding rocks of different colors and sizes on the wall, feeling a bit lost.

Jason walked to my side and quietly explained the rules of rock climbing to me.

I listened carefully, nodding repeatedly.

Jason smiled and pinched my cheek, "That's basically it. Want to try first?"

Jason's explanation got me really pumped up, so I nodded hard, "Yes!"

The rules sounded simple, but when actually trying it myself, I realized how difficult it was.

After several attempts, I stood on the ground feeling frustrated, looking up at the climbing wall and sighing deeply.

Every time I would fall when I reached two-thirds of the way up.

The more I fell, the more I wanted to try.

"No, I need to try again."

Jason smiled and held me back, his voice gentle, "Rest for a bit first. You don't have enough stamina now. Rock climbing isn't just about persistence."

His reminder made me notice that my whole body was already soaked with sweat and I didn't have much strength left.

Seeing my silence, Jason continued, "They're selling drinks over there, let's go sit down."

We had just sat down and ordered when Lily and Ryan came over too.

Lily collapsed in her chair, sighing half-dead, "I can't do it anymore, I'm about to die from exhaustion! Nobody told me rock climbing could be this tiring!"

I handed her the drink the server just brought over, "Drink this first."

Lily's eyes lit up and she drank it all in one go.

She shouted "Refreshing!" and stood up, walking toward the counter, "No way, I sweated so much today, I'm dying of thirst now. I need to order another one."

She turned to look at me, "Sue, I just drank yours. What do you want to drink? I'll order together—"

Before Lily could finish, a woman suddenly rushed over.

She charged straight at Lily and slapped her hard across the face!

The loud slap drew everyone's attention.

"Rowan Blair!"

Chris rushed over, staring at Rowan with angry condemnation, "Are you crazy? What are you doing?"

As he spoke, he looked at Lily with guilt.

Lily's face darkened as she stared hard at the two people before her.

"I'm not crazy! She's exactly who I meant to hit! This shameless bitch dared to seduce my fiancé!"
