It’s the morning of the wedding, Nikki, JP and I slept at The Plaza, we had the Honeymoon suite where we could get ready and some of the photo’s could be taken. I was sitting on the patio outside drinking my tea while Nikki and JP were talking inside. I was reflecting on my life and what happened in my life to bring me to this point. If I think back to the day, I found out I was pregnant with Nikki to now I would never in my life have thought that Nicolas and I will ever get back together, neither would I have thought we will get married and he will forgive me for keeping his daughter from him, but everything happens for a reason. I mean if it wasn’t for me struggling all those years when I was pregnant and then with Nikki when she was born, I wouldn’t have started our charity and I wouldn’t have Mia, Kayla and Jasmine in my life. Yes, I’m not involved with the women of the shelters anymore it took a toll on me but at least I know we are
helping with the money we received from the Gala as well as from the monthly donations we got. I mean with Jasmine’s fathers’ donation every month and not to mention Jasper’s donation we can help a lot of shelters. The clinic was doing so well. I actually felt a tear slipped down my cheek.
“Why you crying?” JP asked as he came out. “Just thinking back on what my life was like before I found Nicolas again and what we have accomplished together since we are back together.” He sat and took my hands in his. “I’m so fucking proud of your love.” JP said. “Thank you, JP, it means a lot.” “You are helping so many women, just with the clinic alone not to mention the shelters you guys are helping.” “That is one thing I’m very proud of JP giving back. I was lucky enough that Nicolas took me back and is the best father to Nikki everything else is just the cherry on the cake.” “Let’s not forget your match making skills.” I actually blushed when he said that. “Don’t blush I mean I have Jose in my life because of you. Kayla has Jason, Mia has Luther and Jasmine has Jasper.” “I can’t take credit for Jasmine.” “Yes, you can if you didn’t take the time to take her home and sit with her while she spoke to her parents she wouldn’t have him.” “Okay that is true.” We sat for a few minutes in silence when JP got up and said. “Enough reflecting we need to get ready for the wedding of the year.” “Is it time?” “Well Jose is already finish with Nikki’s
hair so yes my dear it’s time.”When we walked into the room Nikki was already dressed and ready to walk down the aisle. “Mom how do I look?” She asked twirling in a circle. “You look amazing angel.” I gave her a hug and she went to sit on the coach busy on her phone. The photographer was also there taking photo’s as we went along. My make up was done first and then Jose took over and did my hair. It was in a loose up style with hair hanging loose as well, it fit perfectly with both dresses. When Jose was done with that JP helped me into my dress and then he took me to the full-length mirror. “You ready to see yourself?” “Yes.” He turned me around and I saw myself for the first time with my hair, make up, shoes, gown. “Oh my” I said as I looked at myself. “You can say that again you look amazing.” “I do.” Believe me I’m the last person that will every say I look good but fuck I looked good.

It is our wedding day and I was so excited I couldn’t sit still. Luther tried to calm me with some scotch but I just couldn’t. I wanted to get to the Plaza and I wanted to marry Nicol right away I didn’t want to wait until everyone was there or everyone was ready, if she was still in her underwear, I would marry her just like that. “Nicolas, you need to calm down before you get a heart attack.” “I just can’t wait anymore.” “I know that is very clear.” “Let me pour us another scotch.” Luther said. “No, I don’t want to be drunk when we get to The Plaza.” “Well, we need to calm you on some level.” “Distract me how are things with you and Mia?” Luther smiled. “Good really good the last few weeks we got a
lot closer.” “That’s great news and you are sure that is what you want an instant family?” I had to ask or else I won’t be a very good friend. “Yes, Nicolas this is what I want.” “Well then I’m happy for you.” “And I for you who would have thought that terrible night at the Christmas Gala would turn into a wedding?” “Honestly not me, I didn’t even though I’ll be able to forgive her but I can tell you this, I can’t imagine my life without Nicol and Nikki in it and now the new baby as well.” “I know I was against Nicol but I can see now you will be totally lost without her.” “I really would be.” I told Luther and check my watch for the 100th time. “I think we can leave now.” Luther checked his watch. “Yes, fine we can go.” Luther and I got in my limousine and Geoffrey took as to The Plaza where I’m going to marry the women of my dreams.
