Chapter 377 Indulgent Arrogance
Timothy picked up Brandon from kindergarten and brought him home.
Brandon first acted cute with Elizabeth, then when he saw Seraphina coming downstairs, he excitedly ran over and circled around her.
Elizabeth waited until Brandon left before asking Timothy why the teacher had called them in this time.
Timothy said, "It's all because of the bald head."
Elizabeth was confused.
After hearing Timothy's explanation, she didn't know what to say for a moment.
Elizabeth called Brandon over.
She reached out and touched Brandon's little bald head. Brandon grinned foolishly at Elizabeth's touch.
Brandon squeezed between Elizabeth and Timothy, pushing Timothy aside with his butt. "Mommy, touch my head again, it makes me so happy!"
Elizabeth couldn't help but laugh.
Timothy, who had been ruthlessly pushed aside by Brandon, was speechless.
Timothy was unhappy.
Every time Brandon caused trouble at school, it was Timothy who had to deal with it.
Yet when Brandon came home, he still competed with him for Elizabeth's attention.

Today in Border Ridge City, the weather was beautiful and sunny.
Before Mabel even entered the living room, she started calling out, "Elizabeth, I'm back!"
Alfonso and Maximus Carr, father and son, silently followed behind Mabel carrying gifts into the living room.
Maximus was Alfonso and Mabel's son. Maximus looked a lot like Mabel but his personality was exactly like Alfonso's.
Mabel hadn't wanted to bring them along, but Maximus and Alfonso had secretly boarded the plane. By the time they reached Border Ridge City airport, the three of them ran into each other.
Timothy heard Mabel's voice and checked the time. Why were they here so early in the morning?
He said coldly, "You're too early. Who celebrates their birthday first thing in the morning?"
He was painting Elizabeth's nails, and the couple was having their intimate moment when Mabel came back.
They would only interrupt his time with Elizabeth.
Mabel ignored Timothy's cold words and sat down next to Elizabeth, waving at Maximus and Alfonso. "Bring the gifts over and show them to Elizabeth."
Mabel directed Maximus and Alfonso to open the gifts.
Maximus put down the gifts and politely and shyly greeted them, "Elizabeth, Timothy, hello."
Elizabeth saw that guests had arrived and temporarily stopped letting Timothy paint her nails.
She showed a warm smile on her face and nodded gently. "Maximus has grown taller again."
Seraphina heard Mabel and the others arrive and quickly brought Brandon out from the kitchen.
Seraphina and Brandon also greeted the three of them.
The kids started decorating the living room while the adults sat on the sofa chatting.
Before long, Joe and Sarah also arrived.
Timothy, Alfonso, and Joe huddled on one sofa silently drinking tea, while on the other sofa, Elizabeth, Mabel, and Sarah were chattering away.
The two sides formed a stark contrast.
Seraphina took Maximus and Brandon to blow up balloons and decorate the living room.
Brandon blew up a heart-shaped balloon himself and excitedly brought it to Timothy.
"Daddy, I love you!"
Timothy cooperatively prepared to accept Brandon's balloon, but Brandon suddenly turned and ran to Elizabeth's side. "Mommy, love you, this is for you."
Alfonso laughed out loud without holding back.
Timothy sneered and lowered his voice. "Has Maximus ever said that to you?"
Brandon would at least say he loved Timothy.
Alfonso immediately stopped laughing. Because of what happened with Sophia back then, Maximus still had issues with Alfonso.

"Mom, where are you now?"
Stefan was busy handling work when he received a call from his mother Kennedy.
He looked at the documents in his hand, rubbing his temples while listening to what Kennedy was saying on the phone.
Kennedy was pulling a small suitcase, walking out of the airport. "Your dad and I just arrived in Border Ridge City. Send us the address of your rental place, we'll take a cab straight there, you don't need to pick us up."
"Okay," Stefan couldn't talk on the phone for too long right now, so he could only say, "I'll bring you the keys later."
He had originally planned to bring Seraphina home tomorrow to meet Damon and Kennedy, but unexpectedly, the two of them suddenly came to Border Ridge City today.
"Kennedy, we came to Border Ridge City so suddenly, Stefan and his girlfriend won't be upset, will they?" Damon pulled his suitcase, following his wife Kennedy, saying helplessly.
They had already agreed that Stefan would bring his girlfriend back to Majestic City tomorrow, but now the plans had suddenly changed.
Kennedy said, "What do you know? Go call a cab. Stefan is a good son, he won't be upset. Besides, we came this time because I want to see what Stefan's girlfriend is like, and also her family."
Kennedy had originally planned to wait in Majestic City for Stefan to bring his girlfriend back to meet them.
But last night when she went to The Rhodes Mansion to play cards, they talked about someone else's family situation.
It was about a family whose son married a woman from a very ordinary background, and the woman's family kept asking for money.
This kind of asking for money, if the other party was in trouble, they could help, but they were completely being unreasonable and demanding money.
It was really annoying to hear about.
After hearing this, Kennedy thought about how Stefan had briefly mentioned Seraphina's family background.
A middle-class family, father was a company executive, mother was a housewife.
If that was really the case, Kennedy could barely accept it.
She just didn't know what kind of person Seraphina was.
Stefan at the company, after hanging up the phone, didn't know why Damon and Kennedy had suddenly come to Border Ridge City, but he still sent Seraphina a message.
After all, Stefan needed to give her a heads up about this kind of thing.
He sent the message and quickly dealt with his work, planning to finish as soon as possible and rush home.
Stefan drove home and saw Damon and Kennedy standing at the door.
He took out his keys to open the door and let them in. "Mom, Dad, why did you come so suddenly? Is something wrong?"
Kennedy first looked around Stefan's rental place, her eyes full of criticism. She commented disapprovingly, "What kind of place did you rent? It's so small, you might as well move into the house we bought."
Stefan smiled and shook his head. "Mom, this place is close to the company. When work is busy, it's more convenient here. Mom, Dad, I still need to go to the company, I'll come back early."
Damon's expression was calm. "You go ahead, your mom and I can take care of ourselves."
They weren't children, and they weren't elderly either, they could both take care of themselves.
After Stefan left.
Kennedy said angrily, "What 'close to the company'? I suspect that's just an excuse."
Damon sat down on the sofa to rest. "I think you're overthinking it."
He had left a pile of things at the company unfinished and was forced to accompany Kennedy to Border Ridge City. Thinking about it now made him sigh.
On the other side, Seraphina saw the message Stefan sent.
Since Damon and Kennedy had come to Border Ridge City, they definitely wouldn't need to go to Majestic City tomorrow.
Seraphina put her phone back on the table. The most important thing today was celebrating Timothy's birthday, nothing else mattered.
"Maximus, help me take Brandon to my dad." Seraphina saw Brandon messing with the decorative balloons again and helplessly didn't dare let Brandon help anymore.
Brandon was just making things worse.
"Okay." Maximus carried Brandon away.
"Maximus, let me go."
"No, Seraphina is going to get mad."
Maximus carried Brandon to the sofa area.
He didn't hand Brandon to Timothy, but instead stuffed him into his father Alfonso's arms. "Dad, you play with Brandon."
Alfonso fell silent.
In the evening, Elizabeth personally cooked dinner for Timothy.
For Timothy's birthday this year, everyone was there.
"Cheers! BOSS, happy birthday!"
"Cheers! Mr. Robinson, happy birthday! Wishing you success in everything!"
"Cheers! Daddy, happy birthday, be happy every day!"
Brandon wasn't about to be left behind. He held his juice cup with both hands, determined to toast with Timothy. "Daddy! Bottoms up! Happy birthday!"
Brandon's manner was bold and spirited.
Timothy's lips curved with a tender smile, his voice deep. "Alright, bottoms up."
The lively family birthday party didn't break up until eleven at night.
Since it was so late, Timothy quickly helped Brandon take a bath and got him to bed.
When Timothy finished dealing with Brandon and returned to the bedroom, all the lights in the bedroom were already off.
The bedroom door closed instantly.
Elizabeth pinned Timothy against the door, calling softly, "Honey, happy birthday."
Timothy's back was against the door, allowing Elizabeth to be bold with him.
