Chapter 366 You Are Great

Chapter 366 You Are Great

After several days of heavy rain, today it had turned into a gentle drizzle.

After Seraphina and Brandon got up and had breakfast, they both quietly went to the hospital room. They sat in the room, not daring to make too much noise around Timothy.

Timothy, leaning against the headboard, saw Seraphina and Brandon both being so well-behaved and smiled. "Seraphina, your mom said you've already started handling company matters. Go take care of your work. And Brandon, I've hired a teacher for you."

Seraphina nodded. "Okay, Dad."

She took Brandon's hand to leave the room.

Brandon looked at Timothy reluctantly. "Dad, you need to rest well. I'll come back after my lesson."

"Okay."

After Seraphina and Brandon left.

Timothy's gaze fell on Elizabeth's tired face. "Elizabeth, do you want to get some sleep?"

Elizabeth nodded. She took off her shoes, lay down on the bed, and leaned against Timothy. "I looked at the business matters Seraphina handled. Pretty good, just lacking a bit of toughness."

Timothy chuckled softly, stroking Elizabeth's hair. "She's still young. Some things need time. For Seraphina to get a 'pretty good' from you means she's already doing very well. The toughness can be developed gradually."

Elizabeth nodded and said softly, "Okay, Mr. Robinson, is there anything else you want to do?"

Anything else he wanted to do?

Timothy's lips curved into a smile. "Elizabeth, the only thing I want to do is be with you all. I won't get to see what Seraphina looks like when she gets married. Brandon loves eating so much, I don't know what he'll turn out like when he grows up. I'll have to leave them in your hands."

Elizabeth nestled in Timothy's arms, holding back her sobs. "Okay."

Standing at the hospital room door, Seraphina heard Timothy's words and lowered her eyes to hide the sadness in them. She quietly turned and left.

Timothy wanted to see her get married.

She also wanted Timothy to hold her hand and walk her down the aisle to the groom.

Stefan had just gotten off the plane. After putting Sloane in a car, he immediately called Seraphina.

"Dione, I'm back. I'm going to Port City Garden to find you." Stefan hailed a taxi, put in his luggage, and got in. "Sir, to Port City Garden."

Seraphina rubbed her temples and saved the proposal she had just finished. "Stefan, I'm not at Port City Garden right now. Come to..."

"Seraphina, Mom's calling you." Brandon stuck his head through the study door.

Seraphina covered her phone and said to Brandon at the door, "Okay, I'll be right there."

She uncovered the phone. "Stefan, I have something to do right now. I'll find you later."

Stefan heard her response and said gently, "Okay, you go ahead."

He had the driver change course to his rental place.

After hanging up, Seraphina picked up her laptop and walked out of the study, holding Brandon's hand. "Where's Mom?"

Brandon looked up at Seraphina. "With Dad."

The two almost ran to the hospital room.

Brandon ran to Timothy's bedside and stood on his tiptoes to look at Timothy.

Seraphina first checked Timothy's complexion, then walked over to sit beside Elizabeth. "Mom."

Elizabeth had called Seraphina over to arrange tomorrow's schedule. "Before you go to work tomorrow, take Brandon to kindergarten first."

They tried not to leave all of Brandon's drop-offs and pick-ups to the bodyguards.

Timothy had always personally dropped off and picked up Brandon.

Elizabeth did it much less often.

Since Brandon was born, Timothy had basically taken care of everything related to Brandon.

You could say Timothy was responsible for everything in Brandon's life since birth.

Elizabeth looked up toward the bed, where Brandon was whispering to Timothy. She smiled.

Seraphina agreed and also turned to look at the bed, smiling. She opened her computer to discuss the proposal with Elizabeth.

Brandon stood on his tiptoes, secretly sharing the 'good deed' he did today with Timothy.

"Dad, wait, I have something for you." Brandon ran out of the room.

Before long, he came back with a bouquet of very poorly wrapped peonies.

Brandon presented the flowers to Timothy. "Dad, flowers for you."

Timothy looked at the flowers in Brandon's hands and almost got so angry he wanted to jump out of bed.

Brandon had actually destroyed his hard-to-get new variety of peonies.

Timothy had originally planned to give those peonies to Elizabeth.

Looking at Brandon's smiling face as he offered the flowers, Timothy held it in!

Brandon didn't know about Timothy's current mental state of wanting to cough up blood. Brandon eagerly waited for Timothy's praise.

"Good, you did great." Timothy smiled.

"I think I'm great too!" Brandon smiled happily.

Timothy and Brandon looked at each other, a picture of fatherly kindness and filial piety.

At nine in the evening, after Brandon was lying in bed sleeping peacefully, Seraphina finally had time to call Stefan.

"Stefan, I'm done with work." Seraphina heard very noisy sounds on Stefan's end and asked curiously, "Where are you right now?"

Stefan refused the drink Wilmer Finley handed him and said to Seraphina on the phone, "I ran into Wilmer and got dragged to a bar."

Seraphina knew Wilmer too, though not very well.

They all went to the same university.

Wilmer and Stefan were roommates in college.

After hearing Stefan's explanation, Seraphina nodded. "I see. You guys chat then. Don't drink too much, and go home early to rest."

Hearing her concern, Stefan's expression softened. "Don't worry, I'll be careful. I'll pick you up for work tomorrow morning."

Seraphina agreed, and they hung up.

Stefan once again refused the drink Wilmer handed him. "Wilmer, let's skip it today. I really don't want to drink."

Unless work required it, Stefan tried to drink as little as possible.

Wilmer patted his shoulder and laughed. "Alright, Stefan, you're as disciplined as ever. Let's just chat then. What brought you to Border Ridge City? If I hadn't run into you today, I wouldn't have known you were here. You didn't even look me up."

Stefan raised an eyebrow. "Look you up? Weren't you traveling recently?"

Wilmer laughed a few times. "I came back to work last week. I got a job at Seraphina Enterprises."

"Seraphina Enterprises? What a coincidence! Dione also works at Seraphina Enterprises. She's the chairman's assistant now." Stefan said proudly.

"Chairman's assistant?" Wilmer hadn't expected that.

Robbie chose an assistant without looking at appearance—ability really was important. Wilmer muttered to himself. He wasn't looking down on anyone, just surprised.

Wilmer took a sip of his drink, then suddenly realized something. "Wait, you're still with her? Didn't you..."
