Chapter 339 Got a Boyfriend
At the dinner table, a family of four was eating together.
Timothy and Elizabeth were used to being vegetarian, so they both stuck to eating vegetarian food.
But they didn't make Seraphina and Brandon follow the same diet.
Elizabeth specially cooked a table full of dishes for Seraphina today, including chicken, duck, fish, and meat.
Looking at the table full of food, Seraphina said emotionally, "Mommy, thank you. You worked so hard."
"Cooking for you isn't hard work. Seraphina, this is the braised fish you like." Elizabeth used the serving utensils to put some fish in Seraphina's bowl, carefully picking out pieces without bones for her.
Seraphina looked at her bowl full of food with a smile and happily accepted, "Mommy, you eat too. You don't need to keep taking care of me."
She also put some food in Elizabeth's bowl.
Elizabeth smiled gently, "Okay."
Timothy ate his meal slowly and calmly.
Meanwhile, Brandon felt sorry for himself - no one was putting chicken drumsticks in his bowl.
He held his spoon, scooped up some rice and put it in his mouth, his big round eyes shining brightly as they kept staring at the chicken, duck, fish, and meat on the table.
Everything Elizabeth cooked looked so delicious, but sadly none of these tasty foods were for Brandon.
Brandon sniffed with his little nose.
Timothy was sitting right next to Brandon. Hearing his sniffing sounds, he turned his head and looked down at him.
Timothy fell silent.
Enjoying the smell with his rice.
During this time, Elizabeth had strictly required Brandon to eat more vegetables and less meat. Brandon was seriously picky - he loved sweets and meat, but just didn't like vegetables.
Brandon couldn't resist the temptation anymore. He looked at Elizabeth with his cute big eyes and a pitiful expression, "Mommy, there's so much food, we can't finish it all. It would be such a waste."
Elizabeth nodded. With Seraphina coming home today, she got carried away and cooked too much.
Brandon grinned and blinked, "Mommy, I can eat a lot!"
Timothy really wanted to cover his face. Their family really didn't normally deprive Brandon of food.
Elizabeth looked at Brandon's pitiful expression, smiled gently, and said, "So what does Brandon think we should do with all this food?"
Brandon's eyes lit up, and he raised his hand, "Mommy, can I help eat some of the meat?"
Elizabeth picked up the serving utensils and put carrots - which Brandon hated most - into his bowl, "Brandon's stomach is so amazing, it can definitely fit more carrots. Keep it up."
Brandon stared blankly at the extra carrots. He clearly said meat!
He looked up at Seraphina in confusion. Seraphina's bowl still had crispy fried chicken drumsticks.
He sent Seraphina a look asking for help.
Seraphina ate the fish Elizabeth had given her, silently pretending not to see Brandon's pleading eyes.
Although Seraphina loved Brandon dearly, she didn't dare go against Elizabeth.
Elizabeth really wanted to spank Brandon. She pretended to look stern, "Brandon! Eat your food properly!"
Brandon immediately behaved when he saw Elizabeth was about to get angry.
If you asked who spanked him the most at home, it was Elizabeth.
Elizabeth scolded Brandon with a stern face, then turned to look at Seraphina and instantly changed her expression. Elizabeth happily put scrambled eggs in Seraphina's bowl.
After the family finished eating, Elizabeth let Brandon go play by himself, while the three of them sat in the living room to talk.
"Seraphina, what do you want to do in the future?" Elizabeth respected Seraphina's thoughts. Whether it was taking over the company or doing what she loved, she wouldn't have any objections.
Timothy couldn't bear to see Seraphina work herself to death at the company. Without thinking, he said lazily, "Eating and drinking every day is so nice. Our Seraphina doesn't need to do anything. Your mom and I have money to support you, and all this money will be yours later."
He clearly thought Seraphina could just stay home and relax.
The forgotten Brandon was bent over looking for his ball. His ears were sharp, and when he heard the words "eating and drinking," his eyes instantly lit up like light bulbs.
Brandon turned to look at Timothy, "I love eating and drinking the most."
Seraphina couldn't help but want to laugh and turned her head away to avoid looking at Timothy's already darkened face.
Timothy showed a mysterious smile, "Eating and drinking needs money. When you go out to work and earn money, you can eat and drink."
Brandon opened his big eyes wide, "Daddy and Mommy have money!"
Timothy looked helpless and said sadly, "Brandon, let me ask you, your mom and I eat only vegetables for lunch and dinner every day, right?"
Brandon tilted his head and nodded, "Yes, vegetables don't taste good."
Brandon didn't like eating vegetables!
Timothy smiled, "Your mom and I don't have much money to buy meat, so we can only eat vegetables every meal."
Brandon instantly understood - their family had no money. "Daddy, I'll go to work and earn money in the future!"
Timothy showed a pleased smile, "Good son."
Elizabeth fell silent.
Seraphina looked up at the ceiling. Just the crystal chandelier on the ceiling was worth a lot of money.
The topic had gone off track.
Seraphina cleared her throat and talked about her work plans, "Mommy, I plan to work as Mr. Robbie Ellis's assistant first, to learn more about the company."
Elizabeth smiled, "Okay."
Whether or not Seraphina would manage the company in the future, Elizabeth hoped she at least wouldn't be fooled by others.
Although Timothy couldn't bear to see Seraphina go to the company, he knew this was part of growing up. He sighed, "Seraphina, since you've decided, I support you too. But don't work too hard, and tell us if anything comes up."
Seraphina looked at Timothy and Elizabeth gratefully, "Thank you, Daddy."
Seraphina has grown up, Elizabeth sighed to herself, "Baby, go back to your room and rest first. If there's anything else, we'll talk tomorrow."
Seraphina had taken a plane and then a car today, so she should go rest.
Seraphina nodded, but before going to rest, there was one more thing she wanted to say, "Daddy, Mommy, there's something I want to tell you both."
After saying this, Seraphina smiled a bit awkwardly.
Seeing Seraphina's embarrassed expression, Elizabeth raised her eyebrows, while Timothy's face became serious.
Seraphina said awkwardly, "I have a boyfriend at school. He helped me organize materials when I was skipping grades, and we gradually got to know each other."
She carefully looked at Elizabeth's expression, then at Timothy's.
Elizabeth said encouragingly, "Seraphina, as long as you like him, your dad and I won't object."
Elizabeth stepped on Timothy's foot - he was sitting next to her with such a serious face. Why look so serious when Seraphina was dating?
After Elizabeth stepped on his foot, Timothy immediately turned up the corners of his mouth, showing a smile.
Seraphina wasn't the shy type, so she continued, "He was originally my senior, but after I skipped grades, we were in the same year and major. He came back to the country last month and is now working in Border Ridge City."
Elizabeth nodded, "Where does he work, and what's his name?"
Seraphina paused and said, "Mommy, his name is Stefan Hensley. Last week he joined the Robinson Group as a special assistant."
Seraphina knew about the relationship between the current Robinson family and Timothy.
Seraphina didn't know at first that Stefan was interviewing for a job at the Robinson Group.
Stefan only shared this good news with her after he got the offer.
Hearing this, Timothy frowned.
But seeing Seraphina's tense expression, Elizabeth smiled and reached out to pinch Seraphina's cheek.
"Don't worry, we won't be angry. Stefan doesn't know about the relationship between our family and the current Robinson family. For the past ten years or so, to protect you, we've kept your identity from the outside world. Baby, I'm sorry."
Because of Seraphina being kidnapped as a child, Elizabeth and Timothy had been very careful not to let the outside world know since they got Seraphina back.
Hearing Elizabeth apologize, Seraphina shook her head and smiled, holding Elizabeth's arm, "Mommy, I know you did it for my good. Stefan has always thought my dad was a manager at some company and my mom was a housewife. Mommy, he's really excellent."
Because of her appearance and figure, Seraphina actually had never been pursued by anyone growing up.
She felt insecure at first, but later came to terms with it.
But she never expected to meet Stefan, who was willing to date her, in her last year of college.
