Chapter 425 Extra: It Is Their End, and Also the Children's Beginning
"Ladies and gentlemen, our plane has begun its descent. Please fasten your seatbelts..."
Hearing this announcement, Brandon looked out the window, his eyes full of smiles.
Valentin and Brandon said goodbye to Matilda after getting off the plane.
Halfway through, Matilda turned back to look at Brandon. She smiled slightly, wondering if they would ever meet again.
"Brandon, my mom has sent me grandma's address."
Valentin followed Brandon out of the airport, his eyes scanning the airport in Zephyria.
Brandon ruffled Valentin's hair and suddenly said, "Let's take a photo together as a keepsake."
Without thinking much, Valentin posed with a peace sign, and they took a photo together.
After taking the photo, they went to catch the airport bus to the city.
After more than an hour's ride, they got off.
Valentin looked up at the barbershop sign and turned to ask in confusion, "Brandon, do you want to get a haircut?"
"Not just me, you too. Let's go in."
Brandon was wearing a mask, so Valentin couldn't see his mischievous expression.
Valentin touched his hair, "My hair is still pretty short, I don't need a cut."
Brandon put his arm around Valentin's neck.
The two entered the barbershop.
Brandon said to the stylist, "Please shave both our heads bald, thank you."
Valentin, what?
"No way, I'm not shaving my head. Brandon, if you want to do it, you do it yourself."
Are you kidding? If he went back to school with a shaved head, his classmates would laugh him to death.
Brandon smiled, "Valentin, be good. Your grandma will be very happy to see us with shaved heads."
Valentin gave him a doubtful look, "Brandon, are you sure?"
Brandon nodded, "I'm sure."
More than ten minutes later.
Valentin and Brandon walked out of the barbershop with their freshly shaved heads, the sunlight shining on their bald heads.
Gleaming brightly.
Passersby kept turning to look.
Valentin touched his bald head, on the verge of tears.
He shouldn't have believed Brandon's words. He was so foolish.
"Next, we'll go to a hotel to shower and change clothes," Brandon said in a very organized manner.
Valentin kept nodding. Whatever makes you happy.
After all, you're my dear uncle.
The two went to a hotel and booked a room, showered, changed clothes, and made themselves smell nice.
"Okay, now let's go buy flowers and chocolate," Brandon said once again.
Valentin kept nodding. What should he do? He was so nervous now too. After all, this was his first time meeting Elizabeth.
The two went to buy chocolate and flowers, then hailed a taxi.
"Sir, to this address."
"Got it."
Valentin and Brandon looked at each other.
"Brandon, are you nervous?"
"Not nervous. You?"
"I'm not nervous either."
A moment of silence.
In reality, both were nervous to death.
Seraphina was far away in Border Ridge City. She had no idea what Valentin and Brandon were doing today, otherwise she would probably die laughing.
---
In the small courtyard.
A woman wearing a light blue dress stood by the fish pond, holding fish food in her hand, gently sprinkling it on the water's surface.
The fish swam over to compete for food, ripples spreading across the water.
Although the years had left traces on her face, her temperament remained as calm and peaceful as water.
This woman was Elizabeth.
Her gaze was gentle.
Just then, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Elizabeth put down the fish food on the small stone table and went to open the door.
When she opened the door, she suddenly saw two bald heads.
Elizabeth blinked, tears welling up in her eyes as she smiled. Valentin and Brandon were really so adorable.
"Mommy, flowers for you." Brandon smiled shyly, rubbing his head.
"Grandma, I'm Valentin, chocolate for you." Valentin blinked, blushing with embarrassment.
Elizabeth smiled warmly as she accepted the gifts from Valentin and Brandon.
A gentle smile played on her lips.
Timothy, can you see this?
Can you see what Brandon looks like all grown up?
And you have a grandson now, his name is Valentin. The children are all doing well now.
