Chapter 155 The Real Timothy
Elizabeth no longer doubted whether the man beside her was a fake Timothy.
She knew he had returned safely.
However, even though she knew he had come back safely, she would still occasionally stare at the fake Timothy's face in a daze.
Whenever this happened, the fake Timothy would tease her, "Are you staring because he's so handsome?"
Elizabeth found it ridiculous. With his face still swollen like that, handsome was the last word that came to mind.
After staying in the hospital for several days, Elizabeth could finally be discharged.
The car was already waiting outside the hospital.
Elizabeth was helped into the car by the fake Timothy.
He fastened her seatbelt for her, then casually picked up a book, ready to read to the baby.
Elizabeth just felt annoyed, "The baby isn't even a month old yet and can't understand anything. Are you reading to me or to yourself?"
He put down the book and smiled, "I won't read anymore, don't be angry."
Elizabeth realized her tone had been harsh. She tugged at the fake Timothy's sleeve apologetically, "I'm sorry, Mr. Robinson. Ever since I got pregnant, my temper has been really bad."
She had been treating him terribly these past few days, with such a bad attitude and no patience.
She couldn't really blame herself though—she just couldn't control it.
"You don't need to apologize to me."
He only had to endure eight months anyway. Then he would take Timothy's child away and raise him to become a criminal.
That would make Timothy die with his eyes open!
Their car arrived at the European-style villa.
The fake Timothy got out first. He didn't expect to see Emma. He raised his eyebrows, turned around, and reached out to help Elizabeth out of the car.
Emma, wearing a small floral dress, looked delighted the moment she saw the fake Timothy.
She truly loved Timothy.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have tried so hard to have the children.
Emma used to restrain her feelings.
"Mr. Robinson, I'd like to talk to you," Emma said with a smile. She glanced at Elizabeth before adding, "It's about the children."
Elizabeth frowned. Emma wasn't afraid of Timothy at all. Could those twins Tommy and Jane really be related to Timothy?
Elizabeth looked up at the fake Timothy coldly.
The fake Timothy suddenly laughed. He said lazily, "What do you want to say? You can say it in front of my girlfriend to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings."
See, how considerate he was.
Emma felt sad hearing this, but she wasn't discouraged.
"I can come back another day to see you."
After saying this, she turned to congratulate Elizabeth, then politely nodded and left.
After hypnotizing Elizabeth, Jason hurriedly left Silverlight City.
He left Silverlight City and flew to three different countries before finally flying to Aquilonia.
Joe brought Jason upstairs, pushed open a room door, and led him inside.
"Mr. Robinson, Jason is here."
Timothy, sitting in a wheelchair, turned it around. His face was still wrapped in bandages with only his eyes showing. "Thanks for your hard work."
"Mr. Sherman was in the room the whole time during the hypnosis. I was very careful. There were surveillance cameras in the hospital room."
Jason handed a small box to Joe.
Joe opened the small box. Inside was a pair of sunglasses. He removed a tiny memory card from the edge of the glasses and handed it to Timothy.
"Thank you."
Joe saw Jason out before returning to the room. He stood to the side waiting for Timothy to finish looking at the photos of Ms. Penrose on the memory card.
"Mr. Robinson, the organ trafficking group that kidnapped Ms. Penrose has been caught and arrested."
Half a month ago, Timothy's people had actually already caught Jake. However, by that time Jake had already transformed himself to look like Timothy, almost making Timothy's men think they had caught the wrong person.
If the real Timothy hadn't shown up just then, his men would probably have been completely fooled by Jake.
In the end, Jake still escaped because he threatened Timothy with footage of Elizabeth being kidnapped.
When Timothy let Jake go, an explosion happened not far from where he was.
Joe sometimes thought that if Timothy had never met Elizabeth, maybe he wouldn't have any weaknesses.
That man Jake was terrifying.
Timothy now wanted to arrange everything for Elizabeth in case something happened to him.
His current physical condition meant that each treatment could be life-threatening at any moment.
If he returned to her side now and died during treatment, it would be too devastating for her.
Timothy could probably guess what Jake wanted to do by Elizabeth's side. He couldn't let Jake succeed in taking the child away.
Before Timothy died, he wanted to completely destroy Jake's organization.
Joe didn't understand this kind of precautionary love, but he could only follow orders.
"Mr. Robinson, you could actually use your remaining time to be with Ms. Penrose and the unborn child."
As soon as Joe finished speaking, he heard Timothy laugh softly.
"Look at me. Half my body's skin is rotted like this and still hasn't healed, plus my legs. If she sees me like this, she'll cry," Timothy said calmly.
"The Johnson Group matter will be done by next year at the latest."
"Yes."
"Have the lawyers arrived?"
"They're already waiting downstairs. I'll bring them up."
Joe went downstairs to bring up the legal team. Timothy reached out to touch Elizabeth's photo with his finger.
After the legal team was brought in, they prepared their materials, voice recorders, and video equipment in an orderly manner.
Sealed will.
Timothy made a sealed will. After his death, Elizabeth would inherit all his assets, including the company he had built.
After the legal team left, Joe mentioned Emma and the twins Tommy and Jane at The Robinson Mansion.
"Mr. Robinson has been very secretive this time. Our people can't find out why he would acknowledge those twins Tommy and Jane."
It didn't make sense. Manuel didn't seem like the kind of fool who would raise someone else's children.
Unless.
Joe didn't dare to continue with his speculation.
