Chapter 71

About ten minutes later, the nanny still couldn't calm Tiffany down, and her crying only got worse.

At her wit's end, the nanny had no choice but to go downstairs and find Henry.

With Tiffany in such a state, Henry obviously couldn't go to the office and had to work from the study on the first floor.

Seeing the nanny approach, he paused his work and looked up at her. "Still can't calm her down?"

The nanny was frantic. "Mr. Hearst, you need to go see Miss Hearst. No matter what I say, she won't listen, and now she's crying even harder."

Twenty minutes had passed, and Tiffany was still crying?

Worried something might be wrong, Henry rushed upstairs.

As soon as he entered the room, he anxiously picked up Tiffany and gently tried to soothe her. "Tiffany, Daddy knows you're still upset, but I promise you, you'll see Julia again, okay?"

In the past, mentioning Julia would get some reaction from Tiffany.

But now, no matter what he said, Tiffany didn't respond at all.

Though she was in his arms, her eyes were vacant, and she seemed completely lost in her own world, unresponsive to anything Henry said.

"Tiffany!"

Henry recognized this behavior. Could her autism be acting up again?

Realizing this, Henry quickly called his good friend Gregory Lopez, asking him to come over immediately.

Gregory was a renowned psychologist who had been treating Tiffany for years. Under his care, Tiffany had been almost like a normal child, except for her inability to speak.

But now...

Henry couldn't bear to think further and urgently pleaded for Gregory to come quickly.

Gregory arrived half an hour later, having driven over without even stopping for a drink of water. He took a careful look at Tiffany, his heart sinking. "You two step out. Leave this to me."

Henry and the nanny quickly left the room, not daring to delay.

Gregory patiently talked to Tiffany for a long time, but no matter what he said, Tiffany remained unresponsive, her eyes even more vacant.

After a full hour, Gregory emerged from the room, exhausted.

He had made every effort to bring Tiffany back to normal, but nothing had changed.

Seeing Gregory come out, Henry anxiously asked, "How is she?"

Gregory shook his head. "Tiffany has completely withdrawn. She refuses to talk to anyone. Even when I brought up various topics, she didn't seem to care. It's clear that she's deeply traumatized. There might still be hope if we can figure out what caused this trauma."

What caused the trauma?

Wasn't it Julia and her two sons?

Had Tiffany become so attached to them deep down?

Henry's face darkened.

Gregory immediately asked, "So, what caused Tiffany to experience such a drastic emotional change? Do you know?"

For the sake of Tiffany's condition, Henry briefly recounted recent events.

Gregory listened intently. "Then it's her. Find her and bring her here. Tiffany might return to how she was before."

Henry's mind flashed back to Julia's resolute demeanor that morning, making him even more agitated. "I'll go out and try to bring her here..."

Why did he say "try"?

Because her misunderstanding of him was too deep.

Gregory urged, "Hurry up! Prompt intervention is crucial for autism. If we wait too long, she could become completely disconnected from the world around her."

"Got it."

After leaving the kindergarten, Julia couldn't stop thinking about what Henry had said.

From his tone and expression, and including her questioning yesterday, he seemed genuinely unaware.

But she reasoned that this matter must be related to Henry.

To prevent Joseph and Stephen from noticing anything unusual, Julia decided to keep up appearances for as long as possible.

She secretly texted Caroline, planning to take Joseph and Stephen out for some fun.

Caroline had just received Julia's message when Joseph and Stephen intercepted it.

"Mommy is so worried about us, she's taking a day off to spend time with us."

"Yeah, we need to act natural."

Caroline replied with an "Okay" and falsely reported Joseph and Stephen's mental state.

As soon as Julia's car pulled up at home, Caroline brought Joseph and Stephen to the car. "Let's go. I've already bought the tickets. We're going to the theme park."

"Let's go!"

Julia drove while Joseph and Stephen chatted with her the whole way.

The four of them were having a great time.

Laughing and talking, they soon arrived at the theme park.

As soon as they reached the entrance, Joseph wanted to see the dinosaurs.

Julia smiled and agreed, taking them to the Jurassic Park exhibit.

They wandered around for over an hour, taking lots of photos.

Joseph and Stephen looked great in every pose.

Because of their adorable looks, everyone who passed by couldn't help but compliment them. "Oh, these two little ones are so cute."

Joseph and Stephen held Julia's hands, one on each side.

They played many games.

Henry had initially planned to leave.

He thought about it and decided calling would be faster.

If Julia knew Tiffany was having an episode, she wouldn't ignore it.

He called once, twice, but couldn't get through.

With each call, Henry's heart sank further.

Had she blocked him so quickly?

Seeing Henry's deepening frown, Gregory asked, "How did it go?"

Henry locked his phone and glanced at Tiffany's room. "Stay here with Tiffany. Don't leave. Wait for me. I'm going to find her now!"

"Okay, hurry back!"

Henry rushed downstairs, got in his car, and drove straight to Julia's house.

Lexine answered the door. Seeing Henry, she greeted him with a smile. "Are you looking for Ms. Kennedy? She's not here. She took the kids out."

"Out? Where to?"

"They went to the theme park to relax."

"Okay." Henry turned and headed to the address Lexine mentioned.

The theme park required tickets to enter. He bought a ticket, but where was Julia?

Faced with the vast theme park, Henry was at a loss and could only use the simplest method. "You search the left side, I'll search the right. Notify me immediately if you find her!"

His assistant agreed. "Yes, sir!"

Then, they both entered the theme park.

Not long after, his assistant called. "I see Ms. Kennedy!"

He immediately shared the location with Henry.

Henry quickly made his way there.

Julia and the kids had just bought tickets for the haunted house and were entering.

Henry arrived and had no choice but to follow them in.
