Bonus Scene #3: You're Annoying
Bonus Scene #3: You're Annoying
Jake’s POV
~ 2 Months Later ~
It’s officially been 2 months since Zak, Alex and I have each made it into Crimsoncrown Academy and since then, the three of us have managed to bunker together as roommates. My thoughts momentarily broken.
“I miss him,” replies Zak, who was currently walking beside me. He and I both on our way over to chemistry while Alex though, was currently in the courtyard for battle tactics and training. Each of us sharing only a hand full of classes together while the rest were designed specifically for ranks.
And by ranks, I meant the typical Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta rankings. Each rank holding unique classes geared towards them specifically. Hence, it’s why Alex was currently in the courtyard, as Delta’s were tasked with battle tactics and training protocols.
Meanwhile, Zak and I both shared different classes as well, which would eventually lead us into splitting off once chemistry was done. Zak eventually heading towards his Beta classes while I headed towards mine, the Alpha classes. Vox just chuckling when hearing Zak’s comment.
“So do I and Alex. But we’ll call him later just like we do every night. And then we’ll all talk until bed.”
“Yeah, but…”
Just then, before he can physically finish does somebody crash directly into my back. My body quick to stumble when feeling the force of the person who crashed directly into mine. The voice in question super annoying and one I currently hated.
“JAKE!”
Groaning, I mentally prepare myself for the person I’m about to see. “Hi, Sierra, how are you?” my voice suddenly strained in an attempt to play nice. Sierra, along with her sister Viessa both here representing Moonlit pack, while Zak, Alex and I each represented Ambersky.
Sierra just giggling. “Funny seeing you today.”
“Funny… can’t say the same for you.”
“Oh Jake, don’t be like that. We’re supposed to be friends right? And friends are supposed to be nice.”
“Good thing we aren’t friends then, are we?” I say before shrugging her off. Sierra just huffing before crossing her arms along her chest.
“Rude…”
“And you’re annoying, so what’s your point?”
Sierra now glaring. “Why you… you better play nice Jake Dawson or else..”
“Or else what?” I ask, my own eyes narrowing.
“Or else I’m telling the Head Elder about it,” threatens Sierra and her threat makes me snort.
“Oh yeah? Good luck with that then Sierra. Now if you’ll EXCUSE me… Zak and I each have class.” Then, with that said, do Zak and I both continue walking. Sierra just huffing again before finally storming a way.
Sierra one she-wolf besides Lilyanna that I absolutely couldn’t stand, and if it weren’t for the fact that Lilyanna was back at home and Sierra came from the Moonlit pack, one would think they were actual sisters. Zak quick to speak once safely a way.
“Dude, rude much? We’re here to make friends and form alliances. Not burn the whole academy down and make enemies.”
Snorting, I simply roll my eyes. “Do I look like I care? Sierra is one girl that I could absolutely careless about. Besides, I don’t need another Lilyanna clinging to me when there’s one waiting for me back home.”
Zak now snorting as well. “Okay, good point.” And that’s all it takes for Zak to then drop the subject at hand. The two of us now entering the classroom. The classroom still slightly empty and Zak and I both move in taking our seats. The Professor still getting things ready. Even when allowing myself to drift back towards a cute little somebody who sat waiting for me back home.

Alex
‘Somebodies annoyed,’ whispers Volt as he and I both stand along the court yard. Our battle tactics and training class about to start. My eyes just quick in spotting the other Delta’s. Our instructor still MIA.
‘Who?’ I ask, while doing my usual stretches. Today being our hand to hand simulation.
‘Jake,’ replies Volt.
‘Jake? Why?’
‘I don’t know. But his annoyance is lingering along his side of the bond. So whatever it was, we’ll have to ask him later.’
‘Ah, good point.’
Just then, our battle instructor finally arrives along with another. The person in question familiar in every little aspect imaginable. The instructor just quick in grabbing everyone’s full attention. Mine including. “Alright class, today we’re talking about hand to hand combat and today we have our first volunteer to help us learn.”
At the mention of that, does the entire class take pause before each of them then take a turn to see who the new volunteer was, yet the moment I move to take notice myself, is the moment I pause as well. Fuck. Not him. Please.
Meanwhile, the person who now stood before me just happily smirks, even as the same green eyes mirror my own. The instructor continuing to speak as though it was completely normal to have an Alpha volunteer. “Class, today we have Alpha Aaron Duncan from the Shadowridge pack here helping us with training.”
Aaron still silently smirking even once introduced to everyone present. His eyes still locked upon mine. Aaron roughly 2 years older than us, which puts him roughly around 16. His smugness also highly annoying and one I wanted to wipe straight off.
‘Jake won’t be the only person annoyed after today’s fabulous fun. Looks like we’re joining him,’ I mutter back to Volt. Even as the instructor continues to talk about today’s lesson and how we’ll all pair off into groups of two.
A partner in which everyone attempts to avoid when it came down to Aaron. Aaron well known within his pack for being completely anti-social and completely closed off. A situation that’s completely untrue given the fact that Aaron approaches me out of everyone present.
“Looks like it’s just you and me today, partner.”
Growling, I take a chance to look around only to indeed see that everyone else was already paired up except for me, and the only other person left was Aaron himself. A smirk still gracing his lips.
“Careful there pretty boy, or else I’ll wipe that smirk completely off your face.”
Aaron just snorting. “Please, I’d like to see you try it Delta. For encase you’ve forgotten, I’m the Alpha here, not you.”
Scoffing, I simply move to position myself in the exact same way I’ve been taught to do so since being here at Crimsoncrown Academy and Aaron does the same. “Yeah, and? So’s Jake, and I still floor his ass whenever possible.”
At the mention of Jake, does Aaron’s eyes flash briefly before returning to normal. The flash gone before I’m able to ponder it further.
“My, so sure of yourself aren’t we Delta?”
“And your becoming vastly annoying to me, but you’re the only one left so… yeah… I’m stuck being with you.”
“Awe.. you make it sound like it’s suddenly a bad thing. Maybe I like having you front and center.”
My cheeks suddenly heating, yet, before I’m able to show it do I instantly shove it away. My tone firm. “Because it is.. now stop flirting with me and let’s go, before you give people the wrong ideal.”
Aaron just shrugging his shoulders. “Like I actually care what people here think.. there’s only 3 opinions that matter to me, otherwise the rest of them don’t.” His words soon throwing me off, yet, before I’m able to ask, does Aaron begin his attack, his attacks fluid and spot on, while mine were becoming shaky and sloppy, his words echoing along my mind.
3? Who? Volt just as stumped.
