A/N: Just a small little clarification here, Selina was actually 5 when Tori found her a year ago. As for Athena’s pups, their just slightly older than Tori’s EXCEPT Selina whose actually older than Nathan. But way more on that later. Tori’s POV
~ Early Morning ~
Oh god.. Oh god.. I always forget how painful this gets when I’m about ready to give birth. FUCK.
My hand quick to find Jake’s. My mates and I each currently sleeping when I’m slowly awoken by pain. A pain I’ve only felt one other time, and it was right around the time I gave birth to my four little ones.
Now, here I was, startled awake by being in labor. My voice soft, yet loud enough for Jake to hear. “Jake…”
Jake groaning when hearing my voice. “T.. Tori?”
“Jake,” I whimper. My hand quick in finding his. “We need to go. The pups… their coming.”
At the mention of that, does Jake instantly bolt. The movement enough to wake up Zak, Alex and Aaron as Jake then leaps from the bed before lifting me directly into his arms. Jake in full Alpha mode as he then dashes from the room with me in tow.
Zak and the others still slightly dazed, but once realizing that Jake had gotten up, grabbed me, and began racing towards the hospital that it finally clicked and they too, soon followed shortly after.
Meanwhile, the whole hospital, including Raina, were always on standby. Aster present as well, as Aster had become Raina’s personal assistant, though personally, I felt that it was just another way for Aster to become closer, as Dragons were typically more territorial of their mates, once fully bonded, and it hadn’t been long since Raina and her had finished the bonding.
As Raina and Aster’s ceremony was private, as were most Dragon ceremonies, because it typically involved lots of marking and mating, or at least, according to Nova it did, especially when describing to me what Fawn planned to do to her when they fully bonded as well
Raina just waiting for when Jake enters the front door. “Quickly Alpha, place the Luna down here.”
Jake quick in doing as told. Jake learning last time that arguing with Raina was a big, fat no. Especially when it came down to delivering pups. Raina then wheeling me back towards the operating room while Jake and the others all stood waiting within the waiting room.
“Should we notify Austin, that way he and Zane can both be present, or at least, maybe your parents?” asks Zak. The four of them waiting on news.
“No. Not yet. Let them sleep. For now, we sit and wait on Raina,” replies Jake, who didn’t want to do anything rash until they got the all clear from Raina herself.
~ Operating Room ~
“Okay Tori, just like last time, we’re going to put you mildly under so we don’t cause any worry or stress to you or the pups and then once delivered, we’ll wake you up, and you and your mates can bond with them.”
Nodding, I slowly place my trust within Raina’s capable hands. Even as she begins prepping me for surgery. Raina’s task simple, delivering a pair of healthy twins. The gender a total surprise this time around, unlike last time, when we wanted to know the gender. This time, I wanted it to be a complete surprise to everyone, including my mates.
The nurses all super excited as they continue to wait. The entire pack speculating if I’d give birth to twin girls, twin boys or one of each. Raina soon grabbing a pup and lifting it out. “Okay.. here’s pup number one,” replies Raina, before passing the pup over to a nurse. A smile quick to rise. “It’s a boy,” is all she says before working on pup number two.
The nurses all smiling, while the nurse who held pup one worked on getting him cleaned. Raina still working on pup number two until finally, it’s out. “Alrighty now, last but not least, is pup number two. And this one looks to be… like… another boy.”
The nurses now cheering for the birth of twin boys. A second nurse quick in taking pup two, before proceeding to clean him as well while Raina worked on stitching me up. Raina just about finished when a nurse suddenly calls.
“Um.. doctor. You might want to come see this.”
Curious, Raina moves to investigate only to pause. Her eyes quick in spotting twin marks, marks that sat along each collarbone, in the shape of a moon. A crescent shaped moon. Identical moons. Her eyes wide.
The mark a clear symbol that the Moon Goddess had clear plans for them. Plans only the Moon Goddess knew and wouldn’t make clear until they became of age.
~ Waiting Room ~
“Hey, do you guys feel that?” asks Alex who’d been leaning against a wall.
“Yeah. It’s the tether of twin pups being born. Each tether a direct connection to each of their parents. To us,” replies Jake, who felt the same thing.
“Any clue on the gender though?” asks Zak, who was more curious on that, then the bond itself. As bonds formed all the time, sometimes instantly or sometimes right after the parent got to hold the child. It just depended on the pup and parent.
Raina taking that time to approach the group slowly. Aaron the first one to notice. “Raina. How’s Tori? How’s the pups?”
“There all fine. In fact, the pups are both with Luna Tori. You have two beautiful little boys.”
Smiling, Jake and the other each sigh. “Thank you, Raina.”
“Of course,” then, with that said, does Raina turn and walk away. Huge smiles soon plastered across each of their faces before the four of them rush for where the Luna Suite sat. A room specifically designed for Luna’s.
The room quick to appear yet the moment Jake, Zak, Alex and Aaron all stand before the door does a voice soon reach their ears. “Have you decided on names yet Luna?”
“Yeah. Alaric and Zaros.”
