ALTHEA

After unpacking, I went to take a shower. It was almost time for lunch. I took a quick shower. Since it was the royal dorm, I had the shower within the room. I was only hoping I wouldn't end up with someone stupid. I knew, I was supposed to share my room. Stepping out, I paused as a very familiar perfume was inside the room. I pulled the towel off of my face, only to find Callista standing in front of me. “What are you doing here?” Before I could control it, the question already slipped from my lips.

Callista looked at me and she kinda had the same kind of look on her face. “You two are to share this room. There should be no fighting in the rooms. Or you both will be expelled and banned from the academy forever.” It was the same teacher, Mrs Spencer.

I looked at Callista and all that anger and frustration came rushing to my mind. My chest was suddenly burning with fire I had kept buried in my chest for long enough. “Oh hell no!” I growled angrily. Pushing them both out of my way, I was walking toward the principal's office.

I knocked twice and then pushed open the door. As soon as Mr Martin, the principal, saw me walking in, he stood up from his chair. Things like that made me wonder what kind of power alpha Collin actually possessed for them all, the people with royal blood running in their veins, to fear him and respect him at the same time. Hell, I didn't even know anything about his journey.

“I can't share my room with her. Anyone bit her.” I didn't even try to be polite with any greetings. I was already bombarding him.

“Sharing your room. What are you talking about? As far as I know, no one has been given that room to anyone but you, yet. You are alone in that room for now.” Principal Martin replied to me, a genuinely confused frown was on his face. That lessened my anger just a bit. But then it all started to make sense and I gritted my teeth in anger.

“Callista Roquenet is brought to my room by Mrs Spencer, claiming we both must share the room. And in case of any trouble, we will both be expelled and banned for life from the academy.” I didn't hesitate, quoting her words in front of the principal.

Now it was principal Martin who was gritting his teeth in anger. He stepped out from behind his desk. “Let me come with you and see what is happening behind my back. And who here has the power to make decisions without consulting me.” I followed him behind, listening to him rant.

We reached the dorm rooms. Principal Martin entered my room. Callista was already unpacking. And Mrs Spencer stood proudly, smiling at her deed. But her smile vanished the moment she saw principal Martin with me. “What the hell is happening here?” Principal Martin growled at them both.

Callista stood up, looking confused. “You went to the principal, whining like a child. I thought you are a grown ass woman who is here to get her Luna training. I never thought you would be this immature.” Mrs Spencer was already blaming me.

“You talk to me. When did I authorize you for doing this? If Alpha Collin finds out that his Luna was uncomfortable even a bit, we will all be in trouble.” principal Martin was already screaming at Mrs Spencer.

Yet again, I was left in awe, listening to them talk about Alpha Collin. They genuinely sounded like they were terrified of him. Or somewhat power he had. I still had no idea how to take it.

“She was a last minute admission. Princess Freya requested she stay in the royal dorms. All the others are already full. I had nowhere else to put her. They both are here for Luna training. After all, isn't it part of their training, to bear and control their anger for greater good?” Mrs Spencer replied. I looked at Callista and it angered me even more.

“I don't fucking care. Luna Althea is here under our king's protection. So I shall ask you one more time. Who authorized it?” Principal Martin growled angrily and hearing the king's reference, Mrs Spencer suddenly turned pale. Even I was shocked to know that I was under the king's protection, which was news to me. Then again, I knew nothing about my mate, even after living almost a year with him.

I looked at the clock which clocked 1. That meant, it was lunch time. “I don't even care enough. I am going for lunch. Just stay away from me.” I announced loudly, tying my hair in a damp messy bun. I didn't even look at any of them. I excused myself and walked out of the room.

In a way, Mrs Spencer was right. To bear and to control was supposed to be the very first lessons for the Luna. I decided not to pull alpha Collin into that mess. I walked toward the canteen that was mentioned to me during the tour by Mrs Spencer. The guards looked at my card and shook their heads.

“You belong to the royal dorms. That means you eat with the royals. If you follow me, I shall take you to the class A canteen.” One of the guards offered. Slowly nodding my head, I walked behind him and he took me to a place that looked less like a canteen and a lot like an expensive restaurant.

I looked at everyone and then at myself, wearing a pair of pajamas and t-shirts, since there were no lectures to attend. I instantly shrunk. Clearing my throat, I walked into the place. I grabbed a plate, got a few things like a drumstick, a spoonful of creamy pasta and some salad. And fish stew in a bowl. I sat at the corner and ate without looking up.

I was trying to be by myself when someone sat in front of me without even asking my permission. I looked up and for some reason, she looked oddly familiar to me. She was smiling cheekily looking at me. It was odd. “Oh I didn't look that bad back then.” That voice. I recognized it in a second.

“Yilena?” I asked. Her eyes shined the way I used to remember. Her hair was no longer with funky shades. They were rose gold, the original shade she was born with. All those piercings were gone too. And the tattoos, well, they were sitting there but she was hiding them.

“I never thought we would meet again in another academy, after a year. What are you doing here? How are you? Where did you go?” And that was Yilena for me. That bright and loud girl who didn't care about the world. For a second, I could only wish if she was my dorm mate. But it had to be Callista out of all people.
