Chapter 84 Staff
Richard's POV
I don't know when I've been so damn excited in my life! My Josie was coming home with me. We finally get to be a family! I haven't had one of those... Not really. I might be the kid of Dean and Rose Kingston, but we weren't happy together. Dad always cheats on Mom, and Mom sticks around and has her lovers because she enjoys the fame that comes with the name.
That is not what is going to happy with Josie. I'm going to give her all the love she deserves. She is going to be my focus, and my head will never be turned by another woman. This is going to be a new beginning for both of us.
I pulled up in front of my mansion and chuckle when all three of my girls gasp. Yes, they are all my girls. Even Olivia. Charlie and Liv are going to be my little sisters, and I'm planning on treating them that way... I'm going to have to have a little chat with Liv about what is appropriate behavior.
I know this is mostly my fault! If I hadn't been so near sighted when I was 14, I wouldn't have flirted with her. I shouldn't have flirted with her! I only did it because I knew it would hurt her sister, and now I've got this guilt hanging over my head like a fucking storm cloud.
Josie seems to have forgiven me of my past deeds, but that doesn't mean I don't have a lot to atone for. And I plan on starting now. They are going to have a safe and happy home to live in. It's not going to be some shiny prison like the Taylor's house. I want them all to feel comfortable here.
"Welcome home, girls," I say, stepping out of my car and rushing over to Josie's side to help her out.
The girls gather their bags, I grab Josie's from her with a wink. "I got this little dancer," before taking her hand in my empty one. I love this. This is how it's always going to be from now on.
I push through the door and Jeff takes out coats. Jeffery is about 2 years younger than me, and he came looking for a job at one of my clubs. He's a bartender at night, but needed more money, so I offered him this and he took it. "Girls, this is Jeffery, if you need anything, he'll be happy to help," I introduce.
"Of course," he says with an easy smile, giving the girls a slight bow. I had told Jeff about the new arrangement I was planning on while I was busy 'staying away from Josie,' and he had rooms prepared for all three of them. I'm really glad to have the guy around now, it seems my life is going to be surrounded by estrogen and it would be nice to have another level-headed male on the grounds.
I lead them into the foyer where Stephanie and Anna look at the girls with something close to disgust. That boils my blood. Their attitudes better change in the next ten seconds or they are going to be looking for a job. These girls also came to me for jobs at my club and seemed more than happy to help at the time... Now I'm starting to have a bad feeling about this plan.
"Stephanie, I need you to take Charlie to her room and Anna, please take Liv to hers. I'll be taking Josie to her room," I state, pointing to each girl in turn. If they really wanted the could share a room, but I have a feeling they need their own space after sharing for so long.
"Uh... which of the guest rooms will they be staying in?" Anna asks cautiously, stepping up to Olivia and grabbing one of the bags with a frustrated frown on her face.
"They aren't going to the guests rooms, Anna. Charlie will be in the blue room and Liv can stay in the peach room," I state. "If you need help, I'm sure Jeff can lend a hand, but since both only have two bags each, I figured you could have it handled."
My maids look shocked and angry... But I really don't care. This is their job, so they better do it. "Help them unpack and with anything else they might need. They should have everything, though. Jeff has it all set up for them. Then bring them down in half an hour to the dining room," I instruct.
With my commands finished, I wrap my arm around my fiance and pull her up the stairs. I don't rush as she is busy admiring the decor... Which is fine because I'm busy admiring her.
