Chapter 164 Confessions of the Heart
Richard's POV
I refuse to wait any longer! I've told Josie we'd be married by Christmas, and now it's almost Valentines Day! What the fucking hell is wrong with me? This should've been done ages ago.
"That's it!" I mumbled after I woke up snuggled into my girl's pussy. "We are doing this! We are having a baby, and now nothing is going to stop us from becoming man and wife!" I stated.
My sleepy little bride blushed. "Yeah, I guess you are right. I know you told me what happened, and I still can't remember any of it, but would it have changed anything if we'd been married?" Josie asked, blinking the sun from her eyes.
"Honestly, probably not, other than that fact I'd beat my father to death if he had taken you and knew I was already married," I grumble. I'm still not sure I shouldn't. Can I sneak into the prison and poison him? Not a quick acting one. Just one of those long term, painful poisons... Like mild doses of arsenic? Make him fucking suffer for everything he did to her.
I'm not fucking lying. I would've killed my father and had Grant dig a pit in the back yard to bury the body. I'm not sure what I'd do to my mother. She seemed fucking shocked she was going to be a grandmother; only, I'm denying her the privilege.
But my point is it's been months since I place that ring on Joise's finger and thank God no one removed it from her. It's really time for us to seal the deal before I fucking lose my mind.
Honestly, it's not my fault! We've had a hard time of it the last few months. With one disaster after the other, it just never seemed like the right time. And now I fucking regret not just taking her to the courthouse and making it official.
Those beautiful hazel eyes look up at me with sadness. "I'm sorry for everything I put you through," she whispers, cupping my face in her soft hands, and placing the sweetest kiss on my lips.
"Fuck! Baby, none of that was your fault! But I can't wait any longer! I want to the world to know you are mine. None of those thirsty bitches who harass you will stop until you have my last name," I grumble in regret.
I regret that any woman thought I was a free agent and able to be snatched up to show off. I regret I gave in a few times when I was lonely and it gave other women the idea that I was a fucking player! Not since fucking high school! People change, dammit!
But fuck that! I'm getting my wife now!
I'm not letting any more time go by before I give her my last name. Josie Kingston has a beautiful ring to it. Our baby will have my last name whether it's a girl or a boy. I'd love more than one of each. I'd be so fucking happy to have a little daddy's girl.
The moment we got out of bed, I made some phone calls, and we all got to work.
Hailey has been fussing about the flowers. "Oh! It's about time! I was wondering what flower she will like! If you'd waited much longer, I would've gone with spring flowers!" she chuckled. "But since it is almost Valentines Day... I think I know exactly what I'm planning on doing!" she rambled, and I could only chuckle while Josie's eyes filled with happy tears.
"You know, you don't have to do it all on your own! I can help," Josie blushed.
"OH! NONESNES! This is your wedding! You have enough to worry about and this is my gift to you, dear! Finally, time for you to settle down with that man of yours and worry about your growing family," she gave me a wink.
Josie flushed down to her toes. She's fucking adorable! I love it! And I love that Hailey supports us so well.
She's decided the whole thing would look stunning with simple white and red roses. And after she showed me her designs, I've got to say, she was right! Simple is not only the best option, it was gorgeous!
Liv and Charlie went with Josie to find her wedding dress.
"C'mon! Let's go play dress up like when we were little," Liv giggled. "You will look like a princess!"
"Okay... I just wish I still had my necklace," she whispered sadly, touching the hollow of her neck.
Liv's face paled. "Jos, I have something to tell you," She whispers, looking ashamed. She swallows hard and looks at the tip of her shoes instead of at my Little Dancer.
"What is it?" she asks cautiously. No one ever knows what going to come out of that child's mouth. And from the look of it, it's not good.
"I... I stole your necklace and sold it," she whimpers.
