Chapter 105 Unsteady
Richard's POV
I fucking messed up! What the hell am I going to do? I swear this is not my fault... But she didn't listen to me!
Was I actually expecting her to listen to me when I told her this wasn't my fault? When she could see me fucking some bitch right in front of her face?
It's not like I don't understand her reaction! I do! I'd be fucking pissed off if I showed up and Josie was screwing some guy in front of me! I probably would've acted the same way too. I don't know if I'd give her the chance to explain... I know that makes me a hypocrite! I know I'm a bastard.
But I'm not the one who planned this! I saw my Josie, and that was all that mattered to me... I know there were a million red flags going off in my head and I chose to ignore them. That was on me!
Shit! I'm having a panic attack. I need to get to her before she leaves the house. I can explain this... sort of. I am going to tell her the truth! She has to believe me, right?
I rush to go after her, but I'm not steady on my feet. All I know is my fucking heart is shattering in a million pieces right now and all of this could've been avoided... I think? My head is spinning too damn much to understand all of this.
And why the hell is everything fucking sideways? I'm not even able to stand up straight as I try, very unsuccessfully, to pull on a pair of sweats. It takes a couple times before I can get my leg in the hole without me tipping over. I'm wasting precious seconds I need to catch up to Josie!
"BABY! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" snarls Gina from the bed. She's still fucking here?
I fucking forgot about the bitch. Why the hell is she still here? I'm pretty damn sure I told her to get lost before this whole thing started... I remember her giving me a drink... Did she fucking drug me?
I blink my eyes, and I can clearly see her now. She's fucking naked and sweaty, and absolutely making me sick. She's looking at me like she expects me to get back into bed. She's giving me that damn sultry look she gives when she's horny. And this is what my girl saw.
"Get some fucking clothes on Gina! Then leave my fucking house!" I snarl, trying like hell to forget the tears that were falling down Josie's face. But it's not working.
All I can do is hear her strained voice repeating in my head. "You are just like James..."
But I am nothing like that bastard! He was sleeping around because he couldn't keep it in his pants. I don't think he ever loved Josie. But I did. And this is something I would never do to her... Not on purpose...
I did this to her! Not because I wanted to... Gina had tricked me somehow! I swear on my life I thought it was Josie! I saw her above me... Her beautiful hazel eyes and honey brown hair... Her adorable little freckles that I love so much. I heard her voice in my head... It was her! And then it wasn't.
And now the love of my life is running away from me because of this bitch!
"What the hell do you mean put my clothes on, Ricky? We aren't finished! I got rid of the stupid bitch for you. Now come back to me!" she gave me a fake pout, sticking her ass up in the air for me in an invitation.
The only thing it does is fill me with rage. I don't have fucking time for this! I'm wasting too much on this bitch! I should be finding Josie and groveling. Telling her exactly what happened today and begging her for forgiveness..
"FUCKING BITCH! DID I NOT TELL YOU TO GET THE HELL OUTTA MY HOUSE?! NOW SEE WHAT YOU DID!" I seethed. "By the way, you are fucking fired! I never want to see your damn face ever again! If I do, I'm calling the cops!" I hiss out.
I don't have time to argue with her. I turn away from her, hoping she is finally getting dressed. I don't know where her clothes are, but she'd better put them on fast.
