Chapter 63: Kael
Chapter 63: Kael
KAEL
I have no idea how I manage to drive all the way down to my suite. My need for Lilac is like the moon reaching for the sun's light. My ache for her is like an itching on my skin that needs to be expelled.
As soon as we step inside the suite, my control unravels, and I can no longer hold back. My lips find Lilac’s in an instant, pressing against hers with the urgency that has been burning through me since the moment I saw her. She lets out a soft gasp at my sudden move, but then I feel her melt into the kiss, her body yielding to me as if she’s been waiting just as long.
The kiss deepens, growing intense, both of us consuming each other with a hunger neither of us could ignore any longer. My fingers slide up to her neck, and I feel her pulse racing beneath my hand. I back her slowly against the sofa, savoring every tremor that runs through her at my touch. We kiss as if it’s the only thing keeping us alive, a desperate exchange of breath and need that neither of us can seem to get enough of. I’m completely lost in her, in the feel of her, in the way her hands roam over my chest, pulling me closer.
My fingers find the zipper of her dress, but I pause, meeting her gaze. My eyes ask the silent question, and the answer is clear when Lilac’s hands reach down to my belt. That’s all the permission I need. With a slow pull, I lower the zipper, and her dress slips from her shoulders, cascading down to the floor in a silken pool. The sight of her standing before me, breathless and beautiful, is more than I can bear.
I lift her up in one fluid motion, her legs wrapping around my waist as our lips meet again. I carry her toward the bedroom, never breaking the kiss, and we fall onto the bed together, tangled in each other’s arms. My own clothes come off with her help, and when our bodies finally press against each other, skin to skin, I feel her shiver beneath me, a tremor that sends a fire blazing through me.
I pull back slightly, my voice soft as I ask, "It’s your first time, isn’t it?"
Lilac nods, her cheeks flushing as she holds my gaze. I run my hand gently along her jaw, tracing her features with a reverent touch. “Then we’ll take it slow,” I whisper, my own pulse thundering in my ears. I see the trust and anticipation in her eyes, and it only fuels the desire surging through me.
I kiss her lips again, a slow, languid kiss that seems to stretch out time itself. I want her to feel cherished, to know that this moment is as significant to me as it is to her. My hands travel down her body, exploring every curve and line, memorizing every inch of her skin. I feel her arch beneath me, her breath catching in her throat as I press closer, teasingly brushing against her core. A soft, involuntary moan escapes her lips, and I can’t help but smile at her reaction.
This woman—my wife, my queen—belongs to me, and I intend to show her just how much. I lean down, my mouth grazing her neck as I murmur, "You’re so beautiful, Lilac." My lips trail along her collarbone, down her throat, savoring the feel of her skin under my mouth. She trembles, her hands clutching my shoulders as I leave a path of soft bites and kisses, marking her with my touch. Her breath hitches as I kiss a sensitive spot just below her ear, and I feel her body press up against mine, urging me on.
Her head falls back onto the pillow, her chest rising and falling rapidly as my hands explore her, gentle but possessive. The way she squirms beneath me, the way her soft sighs fill the room, drives me to the brink. My self-control hangs by a thread, but I hold back, wanting to draw out this moment for as long as possible, wanting to savor every second.
I feel the heat building between us, the tension tightening as I press deeper against her. The world outside fades away, leaving just the two of us, completely immersed in each other. I can sense her desire rising to match my own, her breaths quickening as I move in a steady rhythm, each movement bringing us closer to the edge. Her fingers dig into my shoulders, and I know she’s close, her body tensing beneath me as she shudders with anticipation.
I am so close, feeling the intensity build inside me as I start to lose myself in the sensation. Every sound she makes, every gasp and whisper, drives me closer to the brink. My control falters as I move against her, feeling her tighten around me, feeling her respond to every movement. She cries out, her voice filled with a mixture of pleasure and need, and I know I’m close to coming undone.
But I hold back, slowing my movements, savoring the way her body arches, the way she looks at me with those hazy, half-lidded eyes filled with desire. She moans softly, and I feel her legs wrap around me, pulling me even closer. I move with her, matching her rhythm as we both climb higher, the tension reaching a crescendo as I feel her shudder beneath me, her voice barely a whisper.
And then, finally, I let go. I feel the rush of release sweep over me, a powerful wave that leaves me breathless, my body trembling against hers as we both reach that final, blissful moment together. I collapse beside her, spent but fulfilled, pulling her into my arms as our breathing slowly returns to normal.
Lilac turns her head to meet my gaze, her eyes heavy with satisfaction and warmth. I cup her cheek, brushing a thumb over her flushed skin, and whisper, “I love you, Princess.” Her face breaks into a soft, radiant smile that melts something deep inside me, a look so pure and full of joy that I vow, right then and there, to do everything in my power to keep that smile on her face.
We lie there in silence for a while, our bodies tangled together, both of us basking in the quiet intimacy of the moment. I trace lazy circles along her shoulder, and she nuzzles closer, her breathing soft and steady as she rests against my chest. Everything feels right, as if the entire world has settled into place, leaving just us in the quiet aftermath.
In this moment, nothing else matters. Not the crown, not the kingdom, not the trials we’ll surely face. All that matters is that she’s here, in my arms, and for the first time, I feel like I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
