CHAPTER 13: CONFUSED

ALPHA BRIMSTONE'S POV

I watched her fall asleep and I groaned. I was erected. I couldn't control myself anymore but I knew I shouldn't do this. I've always been in control of my body even with the past Lunas but with her, I've always found it very difficult to do. Whenever I was with her, it would be like there was someone else controlling me. Especially, when I touched her. She made me lose my mind faster than bloodshed and I hated it.

I cast a spell on her so she could sleep because I needed to clear my mind. This wasn't the time to get deeper with her as it would only make me lose my mind even more. "What will you do now?" Grey asked me as I paced around the room. I was restless. "I don't know. I need to go and relieve myself somewhere else." I replied to him and there was silence for a while. "But why do you think she is so different? You are a powerful Alpha with great if not perfect self-control but since you met her, she has been making you restless. Whenever you are with her, you lose your self-control. Is it what I'm thinking?" Grey mumbled and my eyes widened. "Stop!" I yelled and with that, I teleported away from the room right after shutting down my connection with Grey. I couldn't afford to listen to him any longer.

I appeared in a bar where Zac and I used to clear our minds and there I saw Zac drinking away while dancing with different human girls but he noticed me the moment I appeared in the room. "Yo! You're here?" He asked with delight in his eyes and I frowned. I walked toward him and grabbed his collar, dragging him to a quiet corner of the bar. "If only you have more work, I'm sure you won't be here tonight," I said to him as I forced him to sit and he grumbled. "What? More work? I worked my butt off all through the day but I can't even have the night for myself. Who are you to say that to me?" He questioned with a big pout on his face that made me wonder if he was truly older than I am or if it was just a mistake from our late parents. "Cut the crap. There is a problem." I replied to him and his eyes twitched. He immediately composed himself and became serious. "Problem? With what? Did something happen while I was away?" He asked me and I nodded my head. "Yes, a lot happened. I feel like I'm losing my mind." I replied and Zac's eyes widened. He looked closer at me and shook his head. "Oh No! Who attacked you? Did Lucifer himself come down? What happened?" He questioned and I rolled my eyes. I felt like cutting his mouth off for making a joke out of my situation but I calmed myself and sat right.

"The thing is... I don't understand myself anymore." Well... Zac had always been my only confidant. With him, I don't have to be cold or heartless because he understood me better and he was like my better half. "Monica is not who we think she is. Whenever I'm with her, I feel very different. Whenever I touch her, I lose myself immediately and my lust takes over completely. I don't know what's going on with me at all and it's scary. I've been with 10 Lunas before her and I've always been in control. I never crossed the limit I don't want to. I've never done something I don't want to and whenever they die, it was easy for me to let go because we never really bond. You know my policy of not sleeping [s*x] with my Lunas apart from my first Luna who was my true love. No matter how much I touched the nine Lunas, I never lost myself but with Monica, everything is different. I don't know what's going on." I explained everything to Zac who listened carefully with scrunched nose. It was obvious he was confused too. He looked at me after I stopped talking and frowned. "Why is she different?" He asked and I shook my head. "I don't know either. And, that's why I'm scared. What if she is an enemy I shouldn't have met at all?" I asked with a worried-filled gaze and Zac's eyes widened. "Is she a white wolf? Could she be a white wolf?" Zac asked me and for a moment, I felt my heart stopped. I was shocked but then my mind went back to when she transformed inside that house and I knew she wasn't a white wolf and I sighed in relief. Having a White wolf was such a big headache that no Alpha would want. They are powerful but... They tend to face a lot of challenges and they are always not safe. For a Luna that would die in two years, being a White wolf would have been a burden to her.

"She isn't. I saw her transformed once and she wasn't a white wolf." I replied to Zac who seemed to have already believed that she might be a white wolf. "You saw her? Then, what else could she be?" He asked me. "That's my concern and I hope she isn't an enemy," I mumbled. Being an enemy wasn't the problem but the problem was that I would have to kill her earlier than her supposed time if she was an enemy. I've met lots of women who rubbed themselves with lots of spells to meet me to kill me or make me powerless but they've failed every time and if she was one, it was obvious she would fail too and the only thing that would await her would be death.

"I don't think so. She isn't an enemy." Zac replied and groaned. His tone seemed pissed and I was confused. What could have annoyed him so much? I stood up "I'm going to check one of the wolf ladies. I shouldn't touch a human tonight." I said to Zac who grabbed my hand and pulled me back. "You're married, Brimstone! All the wolves here know your marital status. Do you wish to shame the Luna by sleeping with another wolf and creating rumors?" He asked me and I frowned. "Why are you so concerned about Monica? Do you know her before we met that day?" I wanted to ask him but I stopped myself and sighed "You should know I don't keep them alive. Free me!" I yelled at him and left him there as I found my way toward the stage.

"Alpha Brimstone!"

"It's Alpha Brimstone?"

Different noises started entering my ears and I knew it was from the workers in the bar. I turned my eyes to their direction and glared at them and they immediately kept quiet. It was like a silent signal for them to keep quiet or they would be killed and they got it well. I walked over to a wolf sexy lady that was dancing alone. "Mind a dancing partner?" I asked her and she turned to look at me. Her eyes widened and she wanted to scream but I covered her mouth and gave her a death stare. "Don't you dare scream? I don't want the guys here to know I'm here." I said to her and she nodded before I let go of her mouth. She bowed "My apology, My Lord." She said and I sneered. "I'm here as your dancing partner. Not your lord." I said to her and she immediately nodded her head with a smile on her face.

I danced with the lady for a while and we left the bar for a hotel where we both had a nice time. Once again, I was in control of myself and I was in my right mind from the beginning to the end. I felt like I was myself again and when I was done, I felt whole again. "This is nice. I don't feel confused at all." I mumbled and the lady smiled. Maybe she thought I was praising her? She placed her hand on my shoulder and sat up in bed. "With your good looks and power, I thought your lower part would be your only flaw but with this performance, I doubt you have any flaw at all. You're so perfect, my lord." She praised coyly and she trailed my chest and I smirked. A flaw? I never had any because I'm good at everything. Hearing such a compliment from someone felt bland and empty to my ears as it was something I already knew. I stood up from the bed without saying a word and entered the bathroom where I had a quick bath and dressed up. "We are done here," I said to her and she forced herself up too. She was tired and I knew it.

I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said and the door opened, revealing a young lady with a cup of whiskey. I received it from the lady and asked her to leave. Without being told, I already knew it was from Zac and I knew what it meant. "Drink this," I said to the lady who received the cup from me without question and drank it like a hypnotized fool. "I'm sorry and I hope you have a nice next life," I said to her and watched her close her eyes in death. It was a fast painless death for her but what was surprising, I saw no resentment in her eyes even as she gave up the ghost.

Zac appeared in the room. He looked at the lady and returned his gaze to me. "I will clean up here. You should return home." He said to me and I nodded before teleporting away. I thought I was okay again until I met my Luna sitting in bed and her eyes turned to me the moment I appeared in the room. "You left me." She mumbled and for a reason, My heart skipped.
