Sarah's POV

I watched Theo run with Natalie into the hospital, and I almost screamed out how I should be in his arms, not that bitch. I was gutted coming back to find both shared her and both loved her. Nothing I tried worked, so I went quiet.

"How unfair," I whisper to myself as I head home. My mom and dad are cooking when I walk in. The Franklins were sweet to adopt me, but I often wondered about my birth parents. I found my mother years ago, or I should say she found me.

"Hi, baby." Both say it, and I put on a fake smile.

I had to fake being happy because both would notice if I had changed.

Both spoiled me with everything I could ever want or need.

"Hi mom...dad.…how are you two today?" Both smile. Dad winks at me, and I almost feel bad for deceiving them… Almost. He was always looking for ways to make me happy, and I had to fake it a lot.

"We are good, baby. We are just getting dinner done. Tonight is our date night. Will you be good alone?" I nod, still fake smiling. I loved being alone; it gave me time to snoop and stalk others.

"I'm great. I'm going to turn in early; I'm tired," I lie as I sit at the table and yawn. I just hope I can snoop around undetected. With Theo rushing Natalie into the hospital, I may get that chance. Alpha heirs were huge news to packs, and every wolf would be distracted.

"Okay, baby, eat up, and if you want more, the leftovers will be in the fridge. " I nod, and when both turn back to cooking, my smile slips off my face. I need to get to the prison and find Amber. After we eat dinner, I head to my room and pull my all-black clothes and scent-hiding perfume out. I need to be in the shadows to go find Amber. The shack is the worst place to be put in, and I heard rumors she was there. They take traitors there to question. It's more like torturing someone nearly to death before killing them. I hope she is alive, but I am indifferent to it, so if she is dead. I wouldn't really care.

I'm lying in bed till I hear the front door close, and I jump up and dress fast. I'm going to sneak to the shack and listen in and see if I hear her.

"Time to snoop," I mutter as I climb out my window.

Theo's POV

I watched Natalie sleep, and fuck, I'm so proud she gave birth with nothing. No epidural or drugs to help ease her pain.

"She is a warrior." My dad hugged us and went to see his grandchildren. The huge smile he shared with Jack made me smile at James, who just stared at our pups.

"You good, brother?" He nodded, but his eyes were still on our pups. He was taking in all their features and watching them move around.

"They are so fucking cute," he smiled my way.

"They are, and I feel blessed, brother." I was extremely happy. As we talked, Natalie woke up.

"Theo, I have to pee," she said softly. I rush to lift her and carry her to the bathroom. She shyly pulls her nightgown up, and I smile as she sits on the toilet. When she goes, she hisses in pain, and I kneel in front of her.

"How can I help, angel?" she sighs.

"I need warm soapy water to clean down there. The nurse said to rinse my vagina and pat dry after. I really want a shower, though. Can you help me, please?" I cup her face, getting her to meet my eyes.

"Angel, I will get in with you. I got you, baby." She looks worried.

"I...I..." She looks at me, and I see the fear in her eyes. "I bet she thinks we will fuck her," my wolf says, watching her fidget nervously.

"I know it; you can't have sex for six to eight weeks after birth, angel, and I promise I won't want sex till the doctor clears you. Don't worry, my love, I can wait, and so can James. We would never force you to mate." Her eyes fill with tears, so I kiss her lips gently. She hugs me, and I rub her back as she cries into my neck.

"I'm sorry, Theo, I know waiting will suck. If you and James can...go..." I pull her from my neck and kiss her, shutting up any more words. We would never take another woman to fuck.

"We would never fuck anyone else, angel; you are it for us. We can wait, angel; trust me, we can wait for you to heal. Your health and safety are important to us," she nods, and I gather her close to hug.
