After Jan was dragged off, I had Lena checked, and all three seemed fine. Megan was put in a cell till Tyler figures out what to do with her. She has been screaming for her mate and pup but gets ignored. The man was burnt after I killed him, and I was happy, but the thought of more masters showing up worried me.
"Is she awake yet?" Patrick asks, wiping the counter down.
"No, she is still sleeping. "I figure we take her to see James," I say as I make us food.
"He has been asking for her too," Patrick murmurs as he looks towards our bedroom. I sigh. Lena is having more nightmares and wakes screaming most nights. I sigh as I run fingers through my hair.
