Chapter 149
Jordan's POV
"Get my pet!!" Warren yelled, and more rogues charged in. Dad growled loudly as he punched a rogue and threw another. The pack members ran for cover as rogues went for them.
"Warriors get our pack members to safety. Everyone else attack!!" Dad kept fighting. The nurse screams as she fights to get loose when a guard cuffs her and throws her to the floor.
"Let me go!!!" she screams, thrashing around.
"Shut up, idiot!" The guard rolled his eyes. A rogue leaped at him, and mom screamed his name. He catches the rogue by the neck in midair and squeezes.
"Elijah!" Mom looks ready to cry.
"You dare attack our luna?" he squeezes the rogue's throat, making the man's eyes go huge and face turn red, death awaits you", he digs claws in, drawing blood. The rogue's claws dig into Elijah's forearm, making him bleed. He snaps the rogue's neck and drops him beside the nurse, who screams in terror.
"Elijah," my mom cries out, you're bleeding," he shrugs and stands back in front of us, guarding mom and us.
"I'm fine luna, he pats her hand trying to bandage him. "I promise I'm okay. My job is to guard you, and I intend to do just that." I watch mom cry as she wraps his wrist and watches him, but he doesn't waver.
"Ty!!!!" Jack yells, "Watch out!!!" A rogue stabs dad in the shoulder, and mom screamed in terror and tried to run for him, but I grabbed her, keeping her with me. Jack leaped off the stage and attacked, helping dad fight.
"Protect our family, Elijah!" Jack orders, and Elijah nods. Warren ran closer, but Elijah and Silas attacked him. He fought dirty, and soon I had to sit beside mom and help Anfie. Silas was knocked to the floor but jumped back up and did a roundhouse kick to Warren, sending him flying into a rogue. Both hit the floor hard.
"That looked so cool," I vaguely hear mom, I'm going to get him to teach me that." My wolf laughed at her, but nervous mom talked nonsense.
"I want to fight like my men," I hear Angie sigh out. "Both look so hot... damn it, these hormones drive me crazy, but I could stare all day." She mumbles, face going red. Warren scoffs.
"You should be with me, pet, not these boys!" He really thinks any she-wolf would want him, but he is sadly mistaken. His money is what draws a bitch in, not looks.
"You're so mistaken. I'd rather drink bleach than be with you. You sick, disgusting child predator, wrinkly old horse's ass. Do everyone a fucking favor and jump off a bridge that isn't over water. Die, you sick bastard!!" Angie yells, and all fighting ceases as everyone looks at our mate.
"I own you, bitch, and I bought you from Nix with a signed contract!!" he roared back.
"I never signed shit, you idiot, and I would never sign my life away to you. Nix was a money-hungry piece of shit that died too easily. You need to die slow and screaming like you made most of us do from beatings!!" Angie yelled right back. Warren looked taken aback, but he snarled at her.
"You will pay for your insolence," he says calmly, and Angie cringes. He steps closer, and Emma pokes him right in the eye. "Back right off, you nasty old coot. My family is off limits. I will gut your old ass!" mom is in mama bear mode as he tries to smack her, but Elijah deflects the hit and throws Warren back.
"Not our luna, you ass," he grits out. He stands in front of mom and Angie, using his body as a shield. We are all fighting to protect our pack, mates, and families, but it feels never-ending as more rogues run in. Nick shows up and sits Lena beside mom, and he joins in on the fight. He sees a rogue sneaking up on dad and punches him in the throat, sending the man gagging to the floor. Lena watches in tears as he fights.
