Chapter 48
The secrecy was what made it even hotter. Over time, Jace and Aiden slipped into a rhythm of stolen touches and hidden moments, their affair tucked carefully between the hours of normal life. Every date was disguised, every kiss stolen where no one could see, every time they fell into bed together cloaked in silence.
It wasn’t just the secrecy that tied Jace to Aiden it was how sweet it felt. The way Aiden looked at him as if he were the only man alive. The way he touched him with care, like he was precious. It was different from Elias, terrifyingly so. With Elias, Jace burned. With Aiden, he melted.
But still, he could not let go of either. His mind went the night him and aiden went camping, the air smelled of pine and smoke. Aiden had insisted they needed to “get away from the city,” and Jace had gone along, knowing it would be little more than a quiet night under the stars.
The stillness of the woods pressed in, amplifying every sound. Jace’s laugh when Aiden kissed his neck. Their mouths collided, urgent and tender, as sleeping bags rustled beneath them. Aiden’s warmth was steady, his body a shield against the night chill, and when Jace arched into him, it felt like the world had shrunk to nothing but their shared heat.
Every thrust was muffled by the canvas walls, every moan swallowed against Aiden’s shoulder. By the time they collapsed, sweaty and breathless, jace was smiling into Aiden’s chest, lulled by the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
They also had sex in the cab.The night had started as a joke. They had been out late, Aiden had hailed a cab, and Jace had teased him about being too much of a gentleman. But when the city lights blurred past the windows, Aiden’s hand slid onto Jace’s thigh, grabbing his cock , suddenly the air turned heavy.
Jace’s breath hitched as Aiden leaned closer, their mouths brushing before the kiss deepened. The driver said nothing, eyes fixed firmly on the road, but the silence was thick with unspoken daring. Jace’s pulse throbbed as Aiden’s hand squeezed Jace's bulge harder, fingertips digging into him. The thrill of being seen or partially seen made every nerve in Jace’s body spark to life.
By the time Aiden pressed him against the seat, lips trailing fire down his neck, Jace could not hold back his soft gasps. His nails dug into Aiden’s shoulder as their bodies ground together. The cab smelled of leather and cheap cologne, but beneath it lingered the heat of their desire.
When they finally pulled apart, flushed and panting, Jace’s lips were swollen. The driver’s eyes flicked to the mirror for just a second, and Jace’s stomach flipped. Shame and desire tangled in his chest, but Aiden only grinned, brushing a strand of hair from his face like he was proud of every mark he’d left behind.
They had also had sex at Aiden’s house once, there was no need to be quiet. No hiding, no rushed moments.
Aiden’s room was warm and smelled faintly of cedar and wine. They tumbled into bed, laughing against each other’s mouths, and Jace found himself surrounded by softness pillows, blankets, and Aiden’s endless affection. Every touch was patient, unhurried, like Aiden wanted to memorize him.
Jace’s breath trembled as Aiden kissed him everywhere, taking his time, coaxing pleasure from him with a gentleness that unravelled all his defences. There were moments when Jace thought he would cry from the tenderness of it because no one had ever loved him like this before. Aiden murmured his name like a vow, as though the sound itself could hold Jace together.
When release came, it was not sharp like it was with Elias it was slow, like waves lapping at the shore, leaving him trembling and safe in the aftermath. Aiden held him close afterward, their limbs tangled, and whispered nonsense into his ear just to make him smile. Jace fell asleep there once, and when he woke to sunlight spilling across Aiden’s bare chest, he thought he might never want to leave.
But sex with aiden was not always soft. At Jace’s apartment, it was hunger. They barely made it past the door before hands were tugging at clothes, mouths clashing in desperate need.
Jace shoved Aiden against the wall, kissing him hard, while Aiden’s laugh vibrated against his lips. They staggered toward the couch, knocking over a lamp, but neither cared. Every kiss was messy, every touch burning with urgency. Jace wanted him...needed him.
The couch springs creaked beneath them as Aiden flipped him, pressing Jace down, and the sound of his name falling from Aiden’s lips was enough to make jace shiver.
The riskiest was the office.
Late at night, when the building was mostly empty, Aiden appeared at Jace’s desk, eyes gleaming with mischief. The thrill of it made Jace’s skin prickle with anticipation. They stool kisses in shadowed corners, hands wandering where they shouldn’t.
Aiden pushed Jace against the desk, whispering that he could not resist him. The forbidden nature of it made every touch electric. Jace bit down on his lip to muffle his sounds, terrified someone might hear, but the risk only heightened the pleasure.
Afterward, as they straightened their clothes and slipped back into professionalism, their eyes would meet, and the secret burned between them. It was reckless and dangerous, and Jace could not stop .
But none of it silenced the guilt.
Sex with Aiden and Elias were two worlds colliding. With Aiden, it was warm, safe, tender, filled with whispered confessions and soft kisses. With Elias, it was fire, rough, dominant, dragging pleasure from him with ruthless skill that left Jace aching, undone, desperate for more.
Aiden made him feel loved. Elias made him feel consumed.
And Jace wanted both.
Jace had once imagined both Elias and Aiden claiming him at the same time. He imagined them cornering him, each man on one side, eyes dark with hunger. He trembled under their stares, torn between the fire in Elias’s gaze and the warmth in Aiden’s. His body ached with need as hands roamed his cock, Elias’s grip hard and commanding, while Aiden’s touch soothed and coaxing.
Their mouths claimed him in turns, rough and soft, making jace harder and harder...
