Chapter 84: The Book Part 3
Chapter 84: The Book Part 3
Blue Lake Pack
As we make our way through the streets back to the pack house someone lets out a laugh.
“Ha ha ha!” I turn around only to find Curtis doubled over in laughter.
“What’s so funny?”
“They are going to get to both of the small cottage only to find them both empty!” He explained which got everyone in the car laughing.
“I am going to call Caleb and let him know that we are on way back.”
“Did you want me to find a room for you to use for your alter room?” Kristoff asked her as he drives down the road in the direction of the house.
“No, if you don’t mind I will find an extra room in mine and Caleb’s cottage, plus they will be safer with me.”
“I understand!”
\[Hey Caleb, we’re almost home, I will have them drop me off at our cottage, I need to find a room free to use as my alter room, so I can store my books in.\]
\[Use the room next to my office.\]
\[Ok, thank you!\] They hang up just as we pull up in front of her’s and Caleb’s cottage, the three of us get out with her and help her with her bags.
“Caleb said that I can use the room next to his office.”
“Ok, I know exactly where that is.” Kristoff says as he starts to grab bags from the trunk of the car. We all grab two bags at a time and head into the cottage.
“Do you know which bags are the ones that have your clothes?” I asked.
“Silly, it would be the lightest bags!” She says giggling. As we start to separate the bags from the ones going into the alter room and the ones that will be going into the bedroom Caleb walks into the cottage.
“Where is Camdyn?” Tammy asks Caleb as she places a kiss to his lips.
“With Leanna and Katy.”
“Oh ok, we just got done separating the bags into the right rooms. If you want to you can help me with the books.”
“We are going to leave now, but if you need anything else just let us know.” I tell her as the three of us start walking in the direction of the front door.
“Not right now but I will let you know. HOLY COW, THERE ARE ALREADY BOOKCASES IN HERE!!!” Tammy stops talking to us to yell this at the top of her lungs.
“Yes, that is one of the reasons hy I have suggested this room.” He says as she wraps her arms around him.
“What’s the other reason?” she asked him looking up into his brown eyes.
“So that you can be close to me of course.” He says with a big grin spreading across his face. That got him another kiss as they shut the door behind them and heading towards the car again to go to the pack house. Kristoff drops me off at the house as he drives off again to take Curtis home.
Back At The Cottage
As we continue to follow the white light, it brings us to a small village. (Must be the village where her coven lives.) I thought to myself as we drive down the road with the many cottages lined up in a row. They look the same, white painted siding with a white picked fence surrounding the property. We carefully get out of the car and making sure that no one is around or looking out of their windows we make our way up to the front door where Edgar again pushes me behind him and placing a hand on the door repeats the same chant that he did at the other cottage.
“REVEAL FESTO!” I watch as this time his hand glows a pale green.
“what is it?” I asked him full of curiosity.
“They were here, not anymore though. Stay cautious just in case.” He says to me.
He places his hand on the door knob. “This door seems to be locked, maybe she left something of importance behind them.” He says as he keeps his hand on the door knob and starts to chant again. “UNLOCKTO!” He then turns the knob and the door opens. “It turns out this cottage is in the same state as the other one, she must have just got done clearing everything out.” He says as he starts to walk around the room. “Let us take a look.” He suggest as we each split up to take separate parts of the cottage to look through. After about two hours of searching and coming up empty handed, we decided to leave and go back to the Crimson blood Pack’s house. (I know that this is going to upset Victor, knowing that we don’t have anything to help us with our attack against them. Once we get to the pack house we park Victors car and head inside where we are met with an eager Sofia.
“Did you guys find anything of use?”
“No sorry, nothing. We read the book, but it ended up disappearing, so we figured that the book either went back to the house or the owner. It keeps looking more and more as if it went back to the owner.” I explained to her.
“What? Can it really do that?” She asked shocked.
“Yep, all you need is a little blood spilled.” I said to her nonchalantly.
“WOW, AMAZING!!!” She says.
“Where is Victor?”
“In his office.” So, we head back to the office to tell him the bad news.
Caleb’s P.O.V.
As we got done with placing all of her books onto the bookshelves, I watch her as she stands in the middle of the room. (I never felt this way before, not even with Sofia. Which only means one thing, this woman is my one true mate!) I thought this to myself as I walk up behind her, placing my arms around her waist from behind I gave the back of her neck a light kiss.
“I love you, Tam!” I whispered to her. She turns around still in my arms and places her arms around my neck.
“I love you too, Cal!” As soon as she said those three words back to me I claimed her lips with my own. I don’t know just how long we were standing there kissing, but having the idea of wanting her for the rest of my life popped into my head I had to do something about. So, stopping the kiss I look into her glazed over eyes.
“Come with me!” I said to her as I take her hand into mine. Walking out of her new alter room I lead her into our living room and standing there in front of the fireplace I get down on one knee.
“Tammy Glasson, now that we both know that we love each other, I want you to know that I want to spend my whole life with you and only you! Will you marry me?”
