Chapter 81: Healing
The next morning all three packs looked over the injured and healed them the Blue Lake and the Blue Moon packs used magic, while the Crimson Blood pack used magical herbs since the dark twins do not have the ability to heal with their magic. Curtis, Emerald, Tammy and Jasmine went around healing all of their pack members with healing magic.
“I want whoever is not injured to start training right away, Caleb make sure to start on the training regime that we discussed last night. Leanna, I want you to see Caleb after breakfast so he can go over what is expected from the she-wolves and their regime.”
“Yes Alpha!” The both called out to Kristoff as he told them what was expected of them this morning’s training. After Tessa left with her mate Axel and became his wife and Luna I have placed Leanna as head of the females training. We all finished our breakfast and headed right to the training grounds in the back yard. Emerald, Tammy and I trained together on the magical end of the training, the defense and offense magic with Tammy leading them both in her teachings. As they all were training little did they know that evil does not take a holiday.
At the Crimson Blood pack house, Edgar takes it upon himself to take the lead and tell everyone during their meeting what they are to do.
“Sofia needs training like I said last night, Rachelle there has to be something else on those twins, while they are training I want you to find the book with there abilities in it and look for anything that will help us defeat them this time. We will be running another test in the future so be prepared. Victor I need bandages so I can heal the warriors that got injured yesterday, I will be making up a healing ointment with some healing herbs that I have on me, Jack you can go train.”
“Vic honey, I can’t find the book that we need!” Rachelle calls out to her mate.
“Fine, Victor you help Rach, Jack you can get the bandages ready for when I get the healing ointment done.” They get to work on what Edgar has them doing, even though Victor is the Alpha he decided he would rather have him as an ally then an enemy. Just as Jack walks back into the office Rachelle lets out a shout.
“Found it!” All three guys turned around at the sound of her voice. She brings the book over to Victor’s desk and opens it. “AGH!!! WHY WON’T IT OPEN!!!” She screams.
“That is because my dear sister you are a dark witch and the book must be able to sense it, it must be protected by light magic of the Moon Goddess.” Edgar said. He then came up with a bright idea. “Victor, why don’t you try to open the book.” Victor tries and to no luck the book will not open up when he tries.
“Shouldn’t that of worked, I mean there isn’t any dark magic inside of me?” He asked Edgar.
“It must be because you are Rachelle’s mate and it can sense the bond between the two of you, even though you don’t have any dark magic inside of you, your mate does.” Edgar explains. “We should have Jack try when he gets back. Edgar suggested to Rachelle and Victor as they sit there in the office to wait Jack’s return.
At the Blue Moon pack Curtis is busy making his rounds in between the injured. Any healing that can be done in a quick amount of time just in case there is another surprise attack on them, so whatever the doctor can treat right away Curtis finds himself helping out.
“Ho is it going?” Axel asks him as he checks on the wounded.
“Better then expected, I really thought that there would be more injured then there is.”
“I know, I am impressed with this pack, they have done quite well with defending themselves, but we shouldn’t let our guards down. Next time we could end up with the dark twins instead of our sister.” Axel says with a worried look on his face for Emerald and her family and pack. Even though in reality Emerald isn’t his sister but Curtis’ twin, we all thought that it was just the Moon twin thing, but knowing who truly their parents are puts a squish to what hey have always known while growing up.
“You’re right we got lucky this time, I think we should keep Jasmine here at all times as well as myself, so what ever meetings you have with Kristoff’s pack you can come back and tell me what I need to know. In the meantime, I think that Jasmine and me should be practicing on combining our magic like Emerald and Kristoff can.”
“I agree with you, we just have to find away for all of you to practice together just in case we are together at the time of the attack.” Axel says.
As Emerald and Tammy finishes on treating their own pack members Tammy stops dead in her tracks and falls down to her knees.
“THEY OPPENED THE BOOK!!!” she screams.
