Chapter 64: Unexpected Changes
Jack’s P.O.V.

“Let me see that.” He takes the book from me and starts flipping through the pages. “Where?” he asked. I go over taking the book back from him and stopping at a page I take  a yellow highlighter  out of a drawer from the desk and highlight the parts that he needs to read. I Give the book back to him and watch him read the highlighted pages. The book slips out of his hands and with a heavy breathe he whispers.
“This will be our death, it’s a suicide mission!”
“What should we do?”
“We will wait until our meeting in a couple of days and bring their attention to the issue. I do agree they have too be stopped, but at what costs?” He says as there is a knock on the door. “Come in!” He calls out.
“Alpha, there are a couple here to see you and Jack!”
“Send them in, we have been expecting them.”
“Yes Alpha!” He let’s the dark twins through the door and  he points to a sofa in the room for them to sit down on, he takes his seat at the desk as I stand beside him.
“Ok, let me call her in here. Do you have everything that you need with you?” Victor asked them before mind linking Jen.
“Yes, all I need now is a little bit of her blood so keep her distracted until I get it.” Rachele says showing us her supplies. Vic then mind links Jen and not even a minute later she enters. Closing the door behind her she begins to speak before turning around.
“WHAT IS YOUR COUIN DOING HERE, I THOUGHT THAT SHE ALREADY HAD A PLACE TO STAY?” Jen shouts at Vic.
“KNOW YOUR PLACE BITCH, I MAY BE YOUR MATE BUT I AM THE ALPHA BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE!!!” He shouts back at her. As she makes her way across the room to the chair next to the desk which Vic had made a point to let people know that this is where  his Luna is allowed to sit. It is when she gets comfortable in her seat that she takes notice to two other people in the room with them.
“WHO ARE THEY?” she questioned demanding an answer.
“THEY ARE NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, BUT JACK AND I DO NEED YOU STAND!” He said firmly to her getting her to listen. Grabbing her by the arms he brings her before us. Vic has her back towards the twins, which Rachele begins to slowly and quietly stand up, taking unnoticed steps behind Jen. “I Alpha Victor Ventra of the Crimson Blood pack rejects you Jenifer Mills Luna of The Crimson Blood Pack as my mate and Luna of the Crimson Blood pack therefore I severed all ties.” He finishes and just as Rachele injects something into her I step in front of her, as tears stream down her face she says.
“I still have you right Jack?” She asked me and instead of answering her I say my rejection to her.
“I Jack Reed Beta of the Crimson Blood pack reject you Jenifer Mills Of the Crimson blood Pack as my mate and Beta female of the Crimson Blood Pack.” Right after I say my rejection she falls to the floor.
“WHAT ABOUT THE BABY, THE FUTURE ALPHA OF THE PACK!!!”
“THERE IS NO BABY BITCH YOU LIED SO HE WON’T BE ABLE TO REJECT YOUR ASS.” Rachele said and just as she finishes I hear a shout and a growl from Victor.
“MINE!!! MATE!!!” I turn as he walks towards Rachele and embraces her.
“I didn’t see this coming she says smiling. Well, I guess he found his second chance now I just have to find mine.

Caleb’s P.O.V.

I never knew that I would find my second chance here of all places nor would I find her so soon. I kept holding her hand even as Leanna comes in with my son Camdyn. She looks over at our hands and with out question gives me Camdyn as she goes back into the hallway and coming back into the room wheeling behind her a bassinet, coming over to me and taking Camdyn out of my arms she then places him in the bassinet.
“Tammy, this is my cousin Leanna. Leanna this is my second chance mate Tammy Glasson, she is the one that showed up at our door injured, she also a light witch who offered to help us.” I explained to her.
“Hi, how are you feeling now?” she asked Tammy.
“Great now, that your Luna has healed me.”
“Actually, without her brother here to help, it was her and her mother the Goddess that did it.”
“Caleb! Should we really be telling her this?”
“Yes, it’s ok. She knows just about everything anyway.”
“Oh, well I got to get back to Max now!” She says and I wiggle my finger at her in a come here gesture and I place a kiss on her forehead before she leaves the room.
“I hope you don’t mind the baby being with us?”
“No, of course not. I understand your situation completely. You see my father was in a position just like this with his second wife.” She explains to me.
“So, thanks for the information, I know you don’t have to tell us, especially if your life is in danger and that I am your mate. Is there anything else?”
“No, I don’t even know how injured that I made them, oh, Alpha Victor and Beta Jack has the same mate and are going to be rejecting her tonight. Don’t know if that twill help.”
“Actually, yes it does help, a lot actually. Do you the name of this she-wolf?”
“Jen something, I do know that her and your former mate doesn’t get along.”
“Mills, Jenifer Mills?”
“I didn’t hear a last name, sorry I can’t help you any further than that.”
“It’s ok.” I say as I kiss the back of her hand. “Get some rest now sweetie, I will be right here.” She nods as her eyes close, I rub the back of her hand and just as she falls asleep there is a knock on the door. “Come in!” I say in a whisper but know that whoever is behind that door is going to hear me since they’re a wolf.  I look towards the door and Emerald our Luna walks in.
“Hi Caleb. How is she doing?”
“She said great before falling back too sleep. She also told me that the Alpha and the beta who just happens to have the same mate is going to reject her tonight, she just heard the name Jen, no last name.”
“No that’s fine, I am sure we can handle it.”
“Oh, her and Sofia don’t get along.”
“That is exceptionally good to know. If you need anything just let me and Kristoff.” She leaves the room, and all goes quiet again, that is until Camdyn starts to cry.
“There, there little man.” I say as I look under the bassinet and se if there is anything on the self for him, sure enough the thoughtful cousin of mine has everything that I need, so I grab a diaper, diaper rash ointment and wipes and change his diaper first.
