Epilogue

Apparently, Jane thought with a hand on her rounded stomach, when one had unprotected sex at a wine tasting event in a park, one got pregnant.

She was due any day now. Her life had been going great. After her wedding, she'd moved into a new house with her husband. Sebastian was everything she'd hoped for and more.

As she looked out at the beach in her favorite town, she thought life couldn't get better than this. Stormbrooke didn't feel like home; it was home. They'd both decided to live out here in the house they'd built down at the beach until her delivery. And it was only fitting since this was where she felt the happiest. This was where she'd met her husband.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Sebastian whispered in her ear, wrapping his hands around her waist to hold the hand on her stomach.

"Just thinking of how we met," she said, angling her head to one side so he could kiss her temple.

"I can't wait to have this baby."

"Me too."

He rested his chin on her shoulder as he held her, and she knew, deep down in her heart, that running from him wasn't possible because she would always be running to him.
