Chapter 329 Just Love the Younger Brother’s Girlfriend
Chapter 329 Just Love the Younger Brother’s Girlfriend
Xandra froze for a moment, then dropped her playful expression in a second and returned to her usual calm demeanor.
"Hello, who are you looking for?"
The visitor had blonde hair and blue eyes and looked like he was in his early thirties.
His gaze fell on Xandra, his appraising look carrying a hint of amusement.
At that moment, Frederick walked over. When he saw the man at the door, his expression turned slightly cold.
He reached out and pulled Xandra into his arms.
"Mr. Felton, what do you want?"
Felton?
That name sounded familiar.
Xandra blinked, then remembered.
He was Frederick's business rival.
Last time she had snatched a contract from him, he had nearly ordered his men to take her away by force.
"Mr. Flores, when I arrived just now, I saw someone who looked like you, so I wanted to come say hello. Turns out I was right."
Felton's gaze fell on Xandra. "Won't you introduce this beautiful lady beside you?"
Frederick's face remained impassive, but his voice was slightly cool.
"Do I need to introduce her? Don't you already know who she is?"
"Haha, Mr. Flores, don't get me wrong. Last time your wife took my contract, I just wanted to invite her for a chat, nothing else."
Felton laughed, his shrewd eyes lingering on Xandra.
Frederick's brow furrowed. "Your way of inviting people to chat is quite special. I should learn from you sometime!"
He meant he would use the same method to invite Felton's family members for a chat.
Felton's expression stiffened, a flash of coldness in his eyes before his smile returned.
"Mr. Flores, you've married a wonderful wife. Not only is she beautiful, but she's also capable. Truly enviable."
Frederick's thin lips parted slightly. "No need to envy me. Everyone knows your wife comes from a good family and acts as your right-hand woman, right?"
The words sounded ordinary, but only Felton himself heard the sarcasm in his tone, implying his abilities were average, and he only became successful thanks to his wife's family support.
Felton's fake smile almost cracked, and he stared at Frederick, momentarily speechless.
A mocking look flashed in Frederick's eyes as he said coolly, "Anything else? If not, please excuse us. Tonight's drinks are on me and my wife—consider it compensation for my wife taking your contract."
With that, he wrapped an arm around Xandra and walked away.
Felton had been thoroughly put in his place, resentment building in his chest.
He called out after them, "Didn't know you had such unique taste! With all the beautiful women in the world, you don't want them—you just love your brother's girlfriend! Tell me, are other people's girlfriends better in bed? Is that why you're willing to raise someone else's child?"
Frederick stopped in his tracks, his arm tightening around Xandra.
He slowly turned around, his cold eyes fixed on Felton.
"Your information network is quite good?"
Felton felt he'd finally won a round tonight and smiled smugly.
"Can't help it. My eyes are only on you. I watch your every move."
Frederick looked at him, silent for a moment before speaking, "Mr. Felton, do you know why you lose to me every time? Because you're shortsighted, lack vision, and don't carry yourself like a leader."
"What a waste of your company's deep foundation. If someone else were in charge, it would probably be doing far better by now."
Hearing this, Felton's expression changed several times.
Others might not understand, but he did.
Frederick wasn’t just mocking him, he was warning him.
He still had a younger brother below him. If he angered Frederick, Frederick wouldn't mind joining forces with his brother to bring him down!
Watching the two leave together, Felton snorted coldly.
Bring him down?
Well, they'd see—see who brings down whom first!
Up ahead, held in Frederick's arms, Xandra tilted her head slightly to look at the man's stern face, her long lashes fluttering lightly.
Her marriage to him had become a weapon others used against him
She couldn't help feeling a bit guilty.
"Honey, let's go back."
Frederick came back to himself and glanced at her. "We just got here and you want to leave?"
Xandra listened to the loud, energetic music and felt rather uninterested.
"I never liked crowded places anyway. Just stopping by is enough."
Frederick paused, narrowing his eyes slightly.
"Honey, are you overthinking things again?"
Xandra didn't respond.
"Look at me."
Frederick made her face toward him. "What are you thinking? Let me guess—you think your existence has given my rivals something to attack me with, and you feel guilty?"
Xandra nodded lightly.
Frederick chuckled softly. "If you feel you owe me, then make it up to me properly."
Xandra shot him a glance, immediately understanding what he meant.
She bit her lip, her tone coy and slightly reproachful. "You want it so often, aren't you afraid you'll lose interest?"
Frederick raised an eyebrow and leaned close to her ear, whispering, "Then you’ll have to think of ways to keep me interested forever."
The warm breath brushed against her ear, sending a shiver down her spine.
Xandra's heart fluttered, and she instinctively dodged, then looked up at him with a coquettish glare.
"In your dreams!"
Frederick's lips curved in a low laugh. "Okay, you don't have to think. I'll do the thinking, alright? I'll keep you interested in me forever, okay?"
His voice was deep and magnetic, with a hint of coaxing.
Xandra had always been susceptible to his voice.
Her ears couldn't help but burn, and her body began to soften.
She barely maintained her composure and pushed him away. "Enough already. Are we leaving or not?"
Frederick chuckled softly. "You really want to leave? Seems like we haven't finished the cocktails Mom made herself. If we just leave like this, won't your mom be unhappy?"
Xandra couldn't help but smile.
His teasing eased her mood instantly.
"True. Let's go finish the drinks first, then leave."
Frederick's lips curved slightly as he let her pull him back the way they came.
Thinking about what just happened, his expression paused briefly.
Felton's information was so well-informed—did he find out himself, or did someone leak it to him?
The two returned to the private room and finished the cocktails Rachel had made herself.
After watching another performance, they said their goodbyes to her.
Rachel was chatting with old friends. Hearing they wanted to leave, she didn't object.
The two returned to the villa, and Frederick immediately pressed her against the door for a deep kiss.
Xandra couldn't quite handle it and had to cling to his neck, responding bit by bit to his rhythm.
Frederick held her as they fell onto the sofa. Just as he was about to remove all the obstacles from the woman beneath him, Xandra's phone in her bag suddenly rang.
It was a video call request.
Xandra, breathing heavily, dodged slightly.
"My phone."
"Ignore it."
"Wait, it might be from home."
Usually only family members would make video call requests.
