Today was eventful. Finally, now I could forget about my boss and continue with my work. I got home after an hour. My home was my safe haven. After Mom and Dad died from an accident caused by a drunken driver, I was alone in this world. No relatives were there for me. We moved from our home to LA when I was a little baby, so it was understandable. But still, I felt down sometimes.
I grabbed my things and unlocked my front door. My house was modest with white decor and reddish-brown furniture. I designed it myself. After my parents’ death, I inherited all their savings, and you could say that I was quite rich for a 24-year-old.
I smelled the sweet aroma of my home and locked the door after closing it. I went straight to my bedroom which was painted midnight blue with white furniture. It was a total contrast to the other features in the house. But hey, it was my house and I designed it as I wished. After taking a quick shower and changing into black silk short-shorts and a see-through black singlet, I went downstairs to the kitchen to prepare dinner. It was always such a pleasure to prepare my meals and to try new dishes.
Today I was going to have some strawberry iced tea with a mushroom and herb omelet. First, I prepared the ingredients for the omelet. I added the mushrooms and herbs to the egg mixture and added a little olive oil to the heated pan. After pouring the egg mixture, I prepared my iced tea and added some fresh strawberries.
After taking out my omelet and topping it with some chopped scallions, it was finished. After dinner, I changed into my favorite black and purple babydoll tank top that had a cute little bow and lace details along with a dark purple thong.
I applied my fruity moisturizer and honey lip balm and got ready to bed. I switched off the lights and got under my snow-white comforter and was out.
My last thought before falling sleep was how eventful today was.
