"This afternoon, with an old man, I tried to interfere but she asked me not to worry" the driver replied

I didn t wait to hear any other things

I rushed to where I parked my car

Nothing else was in my mind but on how to attack Mr Luke

I think I wasn t with my rightful sense when all those things were happening

I couldn t believe that I got tricked

But I still wished I could contact David and ask him not to withdraw the case

Mr Lee sat before me with a wicked smile

"Is this your house or something?" I asked looking around

If it happens to be his house, there will surely be a way that I could be found

"Here is meant for people like you, our victim" he replied

"Sorry I have to do all this things" he added

"I thought you said that you are my husband s old time friend?" I asked

It was already night but my Mom was yet to come back

I was becoming more scared

He opened it almost immediately

I stretched out my phone to him

The picture facing him

"That same number sent it" I said

He took it and looked closely to it

I was confused

"That s just a makeup, how can a blood have a particular line it follows?" He asked

I looked closer to it

It looks real

"I don t want to loose Mom" I said almost crying

"Jason didn t get the opportunity to be with her since birth, I seriously don t want her to die" I added

"Call the number" he said and walked back to his room

Leaving the door open

He opened my laptop

The following morning, I was outside, still getting everything in order when I heard a sound of a car

I lifted up my head and saw David coming out from his car

I smiled and went to open the gate for him

"Good morning" I greeted

"Yes, and you?" I asked as he walked in

"Am good" he replied

"Please come and sit" I said

He sat down on the bench before the house

"It is still early, hope everything is fine?" I asked because it was really early for visitation

"I want to know the thing he said that he has, I just want to fasten everything" he said

"Why all of a sudden?" I asked

"The court will call Mr Luke and Officer Kelly by Tuesday, two days to come and they are having my mother in there custody" he replied

"Your mother?" I asked with so much surprise

"Yes and their request is to withdraw the case" he replied

I didn t know what else to say

If I should tell him not to, it would just look as if I didn t care

"Am just confused" he added

"It is really bad, am speechless" I replied

"So when will he be coming back?" He asked

"Am sure that he will be back before then" I replied

"He said that I should tell you not to withdraw the case, no matter what" I added

"He said that he knew that Mr Luke and COP Kelly will surely come with so many strategy"

That afternoon, Jason was already out

I was just walking around when COP Kelly came

I had called him earlier to see me

COP Kelly was also there

The next thing was a guy walking up to her

I was in the bathroom, doing nothing when I started hearing an alarm from the laptop

I rushed out and discovered that it was the alarm I sets for the tracking

Since Mr Lee do switch off his phone and it wouldn t be easy to know when it will be On

So I had to set the alarm

Once it tracked down the location, it will notify me with the alarm

I operated it and saved the location

"Even though am old, my brain is still working" I said smiling to the smart work I did

The location isn t much far but I never could tell how tight it could be

I had to make another plan on how to execute the mission

I was really dumbfounded seeing them using every possible strategy, just to escape their punishment

"A stitch in time saves nine, your fast action determine your decision" COP Kelly said

"I will withdraw it, Jason let s go" David said and dragged me with him

If I should refused, I can t tell what would happen to Mom

He drove straight to the family lawyer s office

"Their plans is that, if you withdraw the case, they will sue you to court for damages and the case will be treated as an accusation" he replied

The following day, the case was still on

I have been waiting to hear from David but he didn t show up

The following morning, I left after telling David that I would meet them at the court

I arrived pretty late with Dorothy s father

From the airport to the house

I had to make it possible that no one sees him

We got home and Dorothy was very happy

"So, going with the first case" the judge said

After some hours, they switched over to the next case

"My Lord, I think we should postpone this to another day" my lawyer suggested

"This is the only case we have for the day" the judge replied

"My Lord, 21 years ago, Mr Luke here unrightfully took in possession of what belonged to Mr Paul" the other lawyer said

"Objection my Lord" my lawyer said

"Objection overruled" the judge replied

"Lawyer Philip, do you have any evidence for this accusation?" The judge asked

The lawyer turned to look at where David was sitting

A man sitting beside David nodded

"Yes my Lord" the lawyer said

"Allow me to present to you my witness" the lawyer added stretching out his hand towards the door

A man walked in

To my greatest surprise, it was Mr Williams

I turned to look at COP Kelly

He was also surprised

My heart almost sank when I saw Mr Williams coming in

He has a briefcase with him

Only him knows what was inside it

I couldn t believe that he was still alive

I didn t get to view the one I took from him that very day I ordered Mr Lee s men to eliminate him

After so many evidence, it was clear that we had no chance anymore

"I hereby sentence Mr Luke and COP Kelly life imprisonment" the judge gave his final order as tears dropped from my eyes

"Court rise" the court clerk said

We were handcuffed and was taken outside

A car drove into the arena
