Johnson face Isabella wrath

Johnson face Isabella wrath
Isabella stood opposite Johnson — her face unreadable, her voice calm yet edged with a kind of finality that froze his breath in his throat.
“You are going nowhere, Johnson,” she said again, her voice low and deliberate, each word sinking deep into the earth beneath them. “Since you have chosen to betray yourself, not me, you will face the consequences — from me, and from the truth you’ve denied.”
Johnson’s throat tightened. “Isabella… I didn’t betray you. I only—”
“Enough!” she cut in sharply. “Yiu must be insane to think I am a fool” Her eyes glowed faintly under the pale moonlight — golden at first, then deep crimson, as if fire burned beneath her pupils.
Mrs. Evelyn, standing by the old oak tree, shook her head and whispered almost sadly, “I’m sorry, Johnson. This is your base now. You don’t leave until she decides your fate, not just that. I also have a say in this”
The ground around them hummed faintly. Johnson felt the earth tremble beneath his boots. “ I can't withstand the power.” The ancient seal Isabella had drawn around him pulsed with silver lines — a barrier spell known only to her kind, the old blood of the Moon Keepers.
He tried to take a step forward. His body resisted. His veins felt tight, bound by invisible chains. “You can’t do this to me,” he growled. “I stood by you when no one else did.”
Isabella’s lips curved in a faint, humorless smile. “Did I hear you say you stood by me.?” “ Am sorry old fool, you were nowhere to be found.”
Johnson’s silence betrayed him.

‘Sherman must have sent you.”

“ I wasn't sent by any one, Isabella. Instead I became more curious.” He paused

“ Curious to know where I got my power. Isn't it.?” She asked him. Her tone softened for a heartbeat, but her eyes stayed cold. “ The last time I checked, Desmond banished you out of the pack.”

“ No.” He answered. “ I was only asked to leave the academy, which I did.”

She lifted her hand and murmured something under her breath. The wind shifted, carrying whispers through the forest.” Really, yet you remained Sturbon.” She sounded.
Dark energy began to coil around Johnson’s legs, climbing up his body like vines. He felt his strength drain away — his aura dimming, his wolf spirit sinking into silence.
“What are you doing?” he gasped.
“Binding you to the forest,” she said, her voice steady now. “Until you learn what loyalty means — or until your spirit fades trying to remember it.”
Mrs. Evelyn turned her gaze away. She couldn’t watch. The punishment Isabella invoked was old — older than the packs, older than their Alpha laws. It bound a wolf’s essence to the very land, feeding his pain to the soil until repentance grew from it.
Johnson screamed as the mark burned onto his chest — a silver crescent surrounded by thorns. His knees hit the ground. “ Haaaaaaa.” The vines of magic pulled him down, rooting him to the forest floor.
When the light faded, he was left gasping, weak and trembling. The trees around him seemed to shift subtly, watching, whispering judgment.
Isabella stepped back, her expression unreadable. “You will remain here, Johnson. You will see every dawn and dusk from this place. The spirits will decide when you’ve paid your debt.”
She turned away, her cloak sweeping across the forest floor, leaving behind only the sound of rustling leaves.
Mrs. Evelyn approached her quietly. “Was it truly necessary, Isabella?”
“It was,” Isabella answered without hesitation. “If he walks free, others will follow his path. I cannot allow betrayal to grow roots.”
“And you?” Evelyn asked gently. “Can you live with it?”
Isabella didn’t respond. She simply looked back once, her eyes softer now, the crimson fading. “I’ll bear it. Because I must.”

“ Well, this is for our safety.” Mrs. Evelyn replied.

At alpha Williams pack
Alpha Williams sat by the long oak table, his hands clasped before him, eyes distant. The morning sun streamed through the tall glass windows, bathing the room in soft gold. Edward and Lynn entered quietly, their expressions cautious.
“Alpha,” Edward said, bowing his head slightly. “You called for us?”
“Yes,” Williams replied, his voice calm yet laced with something they hadn’t heard in a long time — warmth. “Sit.”
They obeyed. The Alpha’s gaze softened as he stared at the empty chair across from him. “Norah is returning from the hospital today.”
Lynn’s eyes widened. “Norah? Your mate?”
“The very one,” he said with a faint, wistful smile.
Edward frowned. “After everything that happened… you’re still going to bring her back here?” “
Williams nodded slowly. “I am. Because despite the scars, she’s still my mate. And no amount of distance or damage can change what was written in the bond.” Williams has his plan.
Lynn exchanged a look with Edward. “Alpha, we all saw what she did before she left. She went against your command — she nearly risked the pack’s safety. The worst of it all is that she tried overpowering you.”
“I remember,” Williams replied quietly. “But I also remember why she did it. Norah wasn’t acting from rebellion. She was acting from fear — fear that I’d lose myself to vengeance, fear that our pack would drown in endless blood.”
He stood, pacing toward the window. Outside, the training field glimmered with dew, young wolves sparring in the sunlight. “I hated her for leaving. I told myself I would never forgive her. But the moment I heard she’d survived… something changed.”
Edward leaned forward. “You think you can love her again, after all this time?”
Williams smiled faintly. “I never stopped.”
For a moment, silence hung in the room. The strength in his voice, the certainty, stunned them both.
Lynn broke it first. “ She is more of a witch, alpha. What do you expect the pack members to do? Their thoughts, how sad they will see their worst enemy return.”
“They’ll see what I show them,” he said simply. “And I will show them that forgiveness isn’t weakness — it’s the highest form of strength.”
Edward sighed, shaking his head. “You always were the stubborn one, Alpha.”
Williams chuckled lightly. “And that’s why we’re still standing, Edward. Because sometimes, holding on — even when it hurts — is what keeps the pack from breaking.”

“ I think Lynn was right when she forced me never to trust you, that you are up to something.” Edward recap.
“ I wasn't up to anything, Edward. I was prepared to fight Norah with my last blood. And to crown it all, I didn't visit her at the hospital after the first visit.” She said loudly. “ Isn't that enough to tell how much I hate her.?” “ I can't lose Isabella, at the same time Norah, that will be irresponsible of me.”
Edward stood to leave.
“ Do not call us for help.” He said as he held Lynn's hands.
“ I have a plan.” Williams drew their attention

“ To reinitiate her again.?” Lynn asked. “ Alpha Williams, I know you are up to something.”
“ Norah will be returning this time with fire and brimstone. Am sorry Alpha Williams that her anger will begin on you.” Edward harshly
