Moonlit Rescue(2)
The sound of heavy paws digging into the ground was heard. Aira closed her eyes, focusing on the transformation. "I'm trying to shift, Eric. Just give me a moment," she said through gritted teeth. The urgency in his voice only fueled her determination to succeed.
The running sounds of wolves grew louder as Aira concentrated harder, feeling the power surging through her veins. With a final burst of energy, she opened her eyes, and a very large black wolf was standing in front of her. The wolf's fur bristled as it let out a low growl, ready to defend Aira against any approaching threats.
"Max," Aira breathed, her voice a mixture of relief and gratitude.
"Alpha." Eric bowed his head, acknowledging the wolf's status in the pack. The tension in the air dissipated as Max nuzzled Aira's head, a silent reassurance that they were safe under his protection.
"We will guard the surroundings," Eric said, walking away from them.
Max Black Wolf Maddox nestled its fur against Aira White-Wolf Ashley.
'You are soft,' Maddox purred as he was rubbing his body against hers. The bond between the wolves was unbreakable—a connection that went beyond words.
'Missed you.' Aira smiled, feeling the warmth of the bond. Maddox's voice was running in her head. He can talk with her through a mental link. Aira was very happy to hear his voice.
Max shifted and took the pants his beta had left for him. His abs-toned body was glowing under the moonlight. He looked magical, like a creature from a dream. Max's presence commanded respect and admiration from those around him.
His ruffled hair added to his rugged charm, giving him an air of mystery and allure. Max's gaze was intense, drawing others in with its magnetic pull.
Max's expression softened as he approached her, his eyes filled with concern. "I would never leave you to face this alone," he said firmly. "But we have to move quickly. The enemy is closing in, and we can't afford to be caught off guard."
With a nod of understanding, "Aira, I command you to shift back to your human form." Aira hesitated for a moment before obeying Max's command, feeling a surge of power as she transformed back into her human self. She knew that they had to act fast if they were going to survive the imminent threat.
He gave her the spare clothes, and Aira quickly changed into them. Aira fell into a step beside Max as they made their way deeper into the forest, their senses sharp and alert for any sign of danger.
But just as they thought they had evaded their pursuers, a group of enemy spies emerged from the shadows, their weapons drawn and their eyes filled with malice.
"Max, look out!" Aira shouted, her heart racing as she braced herself for the inevitable confrontation.
Max sprang into action, his movements fluid and precise as he engaged the enemy head-on. His fists flew with deadly accuracy, striking down his adversaries with calculated precision.
But the enemy was relentless, their numbers overwhelming as they closed in on Max and Aira from all sides. It was a battle of survival, a fight for their very lives as they struggled to hold their ground against the relentless onslaught.
Amid the chaos, Aira felt her wolf instincts surging to the surface, urging her to embrace her true nature and join the fight. But she knew that doing so would only put Max and the others in even greater danger.
"Stay back, Aira," Max shouted, his voice barely audible above the din of battle. "I'll handle this."
But Aira refused to sit idly by while Max fought to protect her. With a fierce determination burning in her eyes, she leapt into the fray, her movements fluid and graceful as she fought alongside Max with unwavering resolve.
"Woah, this girl can fight?" Eric's voice rang from behind.
Aira's skills were a revelation to everyone watching, as she effortlessly took down their enemies with precision and speed. Max couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as he watched her hold her own amid the chaos.
"Ahh, my eyes, my eyes. Bro, stop showing your affection. It's burning my single heart." Max chuckled at Eric's teasing, but his focus remained on Aira as she continued to impress with her combat skills. As the battle raged on, Max knew that having Aira by his side made all the difference in their fight for survival.
Together, they fought with unmatched ferocity, their bond stronger than ever as they faced their enemies head-on. In the end, it was their unwavering determination and unbreakable bond that carried them through the darkest of nights and into the light of a new dawn.
As the dust settled and the last of their enemies lay defeated, Max and Aira stood side by side, their chests heaving with exertion but their spirits unbroken. In that moment, they shared a silent understanding, a recognition of the strength and resilience that bound them together.
"Are you alright?" Max asked, his voice filled with concern as he turned to Aira.
Aira nodded, a weary smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I'm okay, thanks to you," she replied softly.
Max reached out, his hand finding hers in the darkness. "We make a good team," he said, his voice tinged with warmth and affection.
Aira's heart swelled with gratitude as she squeezed his hand in return. "We do," she agreed, her eyes shining with unspoken emotion.
With a shared glance, they knew that their journey was far from over. But as long as they stood together, they were confident that they could overcome whatever challenges lay ahead.
And as they turned to leave the forest behind, the moonlight bathing them in its gentle glow, they knew that they were destined for greatness—together, as one.
*******************************
Max Men returned to pack. Beta Alvin and his men stayed in the forest for a few days, killing all the spies he found there.
"Coven will be at risk. You need to come with us." Max said as he was taking Aira back to Coven.
"I know; I will bid them farewell." Aira nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. As they made their way back to the coven, Aira couldn't shake the feeling of foreboding that lingered in the air.
Suddenly, a group of wolves came near the waterfall.
A small grey wolf growled at them as it made its appearance in the forest. Max and Aira exchanged a worried glance, unsure of what the wolves' presence meant for their journey back to Coven.
The small grey wolf continued to growl, its eyes fixed on Aira with an intensity that sent shivers down her spine.
"Ria, shift back." Eric's voice held a sense of urgency.
"Ria, daughter of Alpha Luis?" Aira asked as she saw Ria walking all naked towards Eric. Aira immediately closed Max's eyes to shield him from the sight. Ria's transformation into a human form left Aira stunned, realizing that nudity is normal among wolves.
Max chuckled at his friends, but he was happier than she was claiming him unknowingly. His heart was filled with warmth as he obediently stood there, looking at her startled face.
Eric immediately gave his shirt to her. Ria quickly pulled on Eric's shirt, grateful for the cover. As she dressed, Aira couldn't help but wonder what other surprises the journey back to Coven would bring.
"What do you want?" Aira asked Ria, her curiosity piqued by the unexpected turn of events. Ria hesitated before replying, "I need your help," she said, looking at Max.
Max raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Ria's request. "What kind of help?" he inquired, eager to assist in any way he could.
"I want to make a deal with your brothers." Eirc's interest was piqued, and he exchanged a knowing glance with his brother and Aira.
"What kind of deal?" he asked, his curiosity growing.
"Kill my dad; I'll get the white wolf to you when he captures it." Eirc's eyes widened at Ria's proposal, his mind racing with the possibilities. "That's a dangerous request," he said cautiously, considering the consequences of such an arrangement.
Aira's eyes widened as she heard her request. 'She wants to capture us,' Ashley growled in her head. Max placed his hand on Aira's shoulder as it relaxed her.
"But if it means getting the white wolf, we'll hear you out," Eric said, his voice firm with determination, side-eyeing his brother.
"Can you send that human away? It's a business deal between Alpha's." Ria said, eyeing Aira. " I know she is your plaything. Can you just send her away because this could be confidential?" Aira's heart raced as she processed Ria's words, feeling a sense of unease at being referred to as a "plaything." Max squeezed her shoulder reassuringly, silently offering his support. "We'll make sure she doesn't interfere," he said firmly, nodding at Eric to handle the situation.
Max walked away from Ria, along with Aira. They walked towards the waterfall and jumped in together. The cool water enveloped them, washing away the tension of the conversation. Aira felt grateful for Max's presence and knew she could always count on him for support in difficult situations.
They swam to the other end, where Ria was looking at them intently.
"He left with his plaything; let's talk about the business now," Eric said with a cunning tone.
"Do you take me as a fool?" Ria said, narrowing her eyes at Eric. "I know what you're up to," she added, crossing her arms in defiance.
"You and your brother are born enemies. Why would I make a deal with a loser?" Ria squinted her eyes, looking at Eric.
"Because I will be next Alpha after taking him down with his own plaything," Eric said with a smirk. "And you'll want to be on the winning side when that happens," he added confidently.
"What is your plan?" Ria asked as she looked intently at Eric, intrigued by his bold declaration. "I'll tell you everything, but first, we need to make sure we're on the same page," Eric replied, his eyes gleaming with determination.
Ria nodded, a glimmer of respect in her eyes as she considered Eric's proposal.
"Let's make a deal," she finally said, extending her hand for a handshake.
"I need your help to gather information and resources to weaken my brother's hold on the pack," Eric explained, his voice filled with conviction. "Together, we can ensure a better future for all of us."
They settled near a rock to discuss their plan. As they strategized, Ria couldn't help but feel a sense of hope that their alliance could lead to positive change. The sun began to rise, casting a warm glow over the two figures deep in conversation.
Max returned after dropping Aira into the coven. Ria looked at him and smiled a little.
"I don't want a white wolf. I need you to do a small task." Max nodded, his eyes reflecting determination. "What do you need me to do?" she asked, ready to assist Max in any way he could. Ria took a deep breath, feeling grateful for Max's support as they continued to work towards their shared goal.
"Get me the details of the Alpha meeting that was held in your pack. I need all the information you can gather." Max's expression turned serious as he agreed to help Ria with her request. "Consider it done," she replied confidently, already formulating a plan in her mind to obtain the necessary information.
After the meeting, everyone dispersed into their own locations.
