Truth

In the Red Blood pack,

Ralph had received a call from Thomas.

"Aira is still missing; they have been searching for hours." Ralph's heart sank as he heard the news. He knew that finding Aira was crucial.

"Hmm," Ralph responded with a forced calmness, trying to hide his growing anxiety. "Don't worry, Thomas. We'll find her. We just need to keep searching and not give up." Deep down, Ralph knew that time was running out and they needed to act fast before Ria got hands-on with Aira.

"If everything went well, she would be Luna today," Ralph said.

"what? Why would she be Luna?" Thomas asked, confused by Ralph's statement. Ralph hesitated for a moment before replying,

"Because her mate decided to accept her, that ceremony was for her." Ralph's words hit Thomas like a tonne of bricks. Thomas's confusion turned into concern as he realised the gravity of the situation.

'Shit, what have I done?' he cursed under his breath.

"Are you sure Alpha Max is accepting her?" he asked directly.

"Yes, he wanted her to be his Luna. He was doing that to protect her from Ria. I hope we find her soon."

Max was with Jane in between the rituals. No one was allowed inside during the searching ritual. Jane was trying hard to locate Aira. She was near to finding her. Max was anticipating the moment when they would finally be reunited with Aira. He couldn't bear the thought of her being in danger any longer.

Thomas was panting when he slammed the door and entered the cabin, breaking the ritual.

Max was very angry at Thomas for interrupting the search. He knew that every second counted towards finding Aira and Thomas had jeopardised their progress. Max's frustration boiled over as he shouted at Thomas, demanding an explanation for his reckless actions.

Max held Thomas by his neck, landing punches on his face. "Why?" he screamed lodly into his face.

Max's anger consumed him as he unleashed his fury on Thomas, unable to comprehend why he would jeopardise their mission in such a reckless manner. The intensity of the situation escalated as Max's punches landed on Thomas's face, his voice echoing with frustration as he screamed for an explanation.

Alvin and others rushed to the scene, where they quickly intervened to separate Max from Thomas. Alvin grabbed Max by the shoulders, restraining him while others checked on Thomas's injuries. The chaotic scene finally began to calm down as everyone tried to understand what had caused such a violent outburst.

Max's wolf was on edge; he was ready to transform at any moment of time to get to Thmoa's neck. "He is Aira's brother. Alvin's words made him stop to kill Thomas with his bare hands. His wolf was grunting.and growling, struggling to regain control over Max's emotions. Alvin's words reminded Max of the bond he shared with Aira, and the consequences his actions would have on their relationship. Taking deep breaths, Max fought against his wolf's instincts, desperately trying to calm himself down and regain control.

"I know where she is" Thomas whispered in a pool of blood. Max's eyes widened at Thomas's words, a mix of fear and curiosity washing over him. He knew he had to find Aira, but seeing Thomas in such a vulnerable state made him hesitate for a moment. Nevertheless, his determination to protect her outweighed any doubts he had, and he mustered the strength to ask Thomas for more information.

"She is near the waterfall" Jane and Thomas said at a time.

Jane opened her eyes to see the commotion around her. She quickly assessed the situation and realized that Thomas was injured.

"Where is she?" Max voice growled inside the cabin. He was shaking with anger and anxeity. "I need her to be safe," Max added, his voice filled with urgency. Thomas, still catching his breath, pointed towards the direction of the waterfall and managed to say, "She's hiding there. She is safe" Max's heart raced as he made his way towards the waterfall, desperate to find her and ensure her safety. Thoughts of what could have happened to her consumed his mind, fueling his determination to reach her as quickly as possible.

Thomas had take them to the waterfall.

"Jane and Max you both need to follow from here. Let the rest of the team wait here for us to return with Aira." Max nodded, his eyes filled with determination.

After crossing the waterfall they all wore the clothes hidden inside the cave.

"How do you know about them?" Jane asked looking at Thomas.

"My mate is one of them" Thomas said with a solemn expression.

"what is this place?" Max asked looking at both for answers. Thomas and Jane exchanged a knowing glance before Thomas spoke up, "This place is a sanctuary for our kind, It's a coven." Max's eyes widened in awe as he realized that he had stumbled upon a hidden community of supernatural beings. The realization filled him with a mix of excitement and curiosity, eager to learn more about this mysterious coven and the powers they possessed.

"Take me to her" Max said coldly as he felt she was not safe with Witches.

'i can smell her' Maddox said, 'Why is her smell so strong?' he questioned

They rushed inside the coven. Many witches recognised Thomas were shcoked to see the people he brought with him.

"Where is my sister?"

"She is in the garden."

"Can you please take me there?"

"yes, I can take you only. I don't know them.He is powerul, I cannot jepordise our safety by allowing strangers into our sacred space," one of the witches replied cautiously. Max and Thomas exchanged a quick glance, understanding the need for caution. "We promise to respect your coven and its secrets," Max assured them, his voice filled with sincerity. Reluctantly, the witch agreed to lead them to the garden where Max's sister awaited.

As they entered the coven the scene infront of them was unlike anything Max and Thomas had ever seen before. The garden was a lush oasis, filled with vibrant flowers and mystical creatures. The air was thick with magic, and they could feel the power emanating from every corner.

"Where is she?" Max growled her scent was everywhere. Madox was on edge to get to his mate. 'she is in pain' Maddox yelled in Max head, making him more restless.

Every witch gathered around Aira made space, Max walked towards the center find Aira shivering in pain. Where healers were trying hard to reduce her pain.

"What is happening?" He rushed towards her, witches stopped him to reach near her. 'She is shifting. Her first transition.'Maddox said

"Your mate," Elizabeth asked looking at Max "She needs you. Hold her hand and try to talk to her. Bring your wolf out, let him talk to her." as she was saying Max took small steps towards her. He held her hand.

"Your mate," Elizabeth asked, looking at Max. "She needs you. Hold her hand and try to talk to her. Bring your wolf out; let him talk to her." As she was saying, Max took small steps towards her. He held her hand.

Elizabeth watched as Max took small steps towards his mate, his eyes filled with concern. With a gentle grip, he held her hand tightly, offering a sense of comfort and support. As he leaned in closer, Elizabeth could sense the connection between them growing stronger, urging Max to let his inner wolf guide their communication with his mate.

"Aira," Max called out softly, his voice laced with both tenderness and determination. The sound of his voice seemed to awaken something within Aira, as she turned towards him, her eyes meeting his with a mixture of fear and longing. Max could feel the weight of their shared history and the unspoken words between them, but he knew that now was the time to let their wolves do the talking.

"It's hurting," Aira whispered, her voice trembling with vulnerability.

A bone-breaking sound filled the air as Aira groaned in pain, clutching her side. Max's instincts kicked in, his inner wolf sensing her distress. Without hesitation, he rushed to her side, his touch gentle yet firm as he tried to alleviate her suffering.

"It's ok, I'm here," Max reassured her, his voice filled with both concern and determination. Aira's eyes searched his face for reassurance, finding solace in the depths of his gaze.

After some struggle, Aira drifted to sleep. Her body is aching and running at a high temperature. Max could only watch her helplessly, feeling a mix of worry and helplessness. He knew he had to find a way to bring down her fever and ease her pain, but he also knew that time was of the essence.

"Healers are exhausted," Max said, looking at the healers. "They need some rest as well." Max's voice wavered with a hint of desperation as he continued, "We must find an alternative solution, something that can provide relief for Aira without burdening the healers any further." He glanced around the room, hoping for a spark of inspiration to guide him in this critical moment.

"We have healers in the coven. They will take shift duties. "Elizabeth said

"Why is she taking lots of time? My first shift took hours." Max said, pulling his hair.

"She is powerful. She needs to take her time to heal properly," Elizabeth replied calmly. "Rushing the process could do more harm than good. We must trust in her abilities and give her the space she needs." Max nodded, realising that patience was indeed key in this situation. He took a deep breath, determined to support Aira and the healers in any way he could until a solution presented itself.

It's been three days; Max has never left Aira's side. Her bones are cracking, yet her shift was not complete. Aira was exhausted with the whole process. It took more than a dozen healers to help her ease the pain.

Max watched as the healers worked tirelessly, their faces etched with concern. Despite their efforts, Aira's condition showed no signs of improvement. Max couldn't help but feel a growing sense of unease, wondering if there was something more they could do to alleviate her suffering.

"I, Alpha James Maxwell, command you to shift and reveal your true form," Max declared, his voice filled with desperation. The healers paused, exchanging uncertain glances, unsure of how to respond to Max's command.

"Are you sure she accepted you as her Alpha?" Elizabeth said, her voice laced with doubt. "Because if she didn't, your command may not have any effect on her."

As the seconds turned into minutes, Max's desperation grew. He couldn't bear to see his mate in such pain, and he was willing to try anything to help her. The healers continued to hesitate, unsure of how to proceed without confirmation of Max's status as Alpha.
