Vanessa's Pov
"Why are you both staring at me like that?" I squinted my half sleepy eyes at Richard and Joana
"Joana suggested we come stare at her beautiful hungover aunt" Richard smiled
Yes, guys!!! I'm hungover
They almost killed me with a lot of weird, strong alcoholic mixtures. I'm surprised my mother didn't get mad and stop us or maybe just me. However, at a point, Richard stopped me.
"Joana doesn't talk" I smiled, sitting up
"Really?" He looked at Joana who was now very focused on his cloth. "Oh no princess! You can't chew my cloth" He chuckled, removing his cloth from the clutch of her tiny hand.
"I so love this picture" I laughed, admiring the picture I just took of them
"Oh no, you didn't!" He said, glaring at me
"You both look so cute together." I cooed
"Yeah whatever. There's Advil and water on the nightstand. We'll be downstairs waiting for you. Hurry up so you can bid your sister goodbye" He said, standing up
"How are all of you awake now!" I shouted
"Some of us can actually handle strong alcohol while some can't." Autumn appeared at my doorstep. "She needs to eat her cereal please" She smiled at Richard who nodded before handing Joana over to her. "Fix that mess"
"Who are you calling a mess?" I sneered
"I will take care of the mess" He laughed
"Why do I feel like that stuff you said have a double meaning?" Autumn smirked
"Get out!" I yelled, a bit shy
"You're blushing" Richard said, sitting on the bed
"No, I'm not." I said, stretching my hands to pick the medicine and water. I swallowed the pills and sipped a good amount of water. "Yuck" I shrieked
"Please go shower. We need to feed you before we hit the road" He said
"Are you okay, babe?" I assessed his him
"Yeah, why?"
"You don't look too healthy" I touched his head but it was not hot at all. Just normal
"I'm just tired and may still have a little headache" He admitted
"Yeahhh... It could be stress" I said, turning towards the direction of the bathroom
"We'll take a day off tomorrow, yeah?" He asked
"Yeah" I said to myself
"What did you say?!" I heard him yell
"Yes!" I yelled.
"For real?"
"Oh goodness! Yes babe" I laughed
"You didn't have a choice anyway" He said, standing at the bathroom door
"Get out, I'm trying to bathe here" I said, removing my clothes
"I regret bathing without you but there's tomorrow anyway. Meanwhile I'm enjoying this show" He smiled
"I won't even win today so happy giving yourself a blue ball" I turned to face him, flashing my boobs in his face
"Oh fuck! I need to go downstairs" He said, shaking his head

"What's up?" He smirked
"Go downstairs and let Autumn tell you what's up" I laughed
"You're evil!" He closed the bathroom door and I heard his footstep fade away
I quickly took my bath and changed into the dress I saw on the bed. It's legging and a fine top that covers my ass
"There you are" Jason said, hugging me once I got to where he was standing
"Hi, married man" I laughed, patting his back
"Come and eat" Richard called out to me
"Did you show the stuff to Autumn?" I pecked his cheek, smiling evilly at him
"What's that?" Autumn chimed into the conversation
"Yeah, what's that?" Richard glared at me
"The thing that was up?" I asked innocently
"Just shut up" Richard stuffed the pancake in my mouth
"What's that!!!!" Autumn whined
"I'm sure it's something nasty. Don't bother asking them for explanation." Rebecca said, strolling in.
"We're going" Matthew announced
"Aww! We'll catch up" I said to Rebecca
"We sure will. I'll text you about that stuff" Rebecca said, stealing my pancake
"What stuff?" I asked, a bit confused
"Bye" She hugged me whispering 'the trip we planned'
"Byeeee. I'll be waiting for your text" I winked at her
"Bye man. See you at work" Matthew did that bro hug thing with Richard and then say bye to the men in the room
"Where are your parents?" I asked Jason
"Why are you asking me? I left with my wife last night." He said, opening the fridge to take out Milk.
"Okay, Little" Edward said to me. "We'll be going now" Edward shook Richard
"I'm not little!" I frowned, hugging him regardless
"Really?" He smirked, tapping my head.
"You just happen to be taller. Now shoo!" I pushed him away playfully and hugged my sister. I also placed a quick peck on Joana
"Don't miss me much" Autumn said to Richard who laughed in return
"I'll try" He said, sticking a cheque in Joana's hand.
"Oh my! You didn't have to!" Autumn smiled, taking the cheque from Joana and giving it to her husband.
"Thanks man!" Edward said, shaking him once more
"She's a lovely child" Richard said. "Also because my girl loves her so much" He smiled at me
"My wife is on her way coming. Please pack your things and move out! My honeymoon begins today." Jason announced
"Last night wasn't enough?" I rolled my eyes at him.
"Byeeeee!" Autumn yelled again. I waved at her once more before turning to my boyfriend as soon as they were gone.
"It's our turn" Richard smirked
"I know but I haven't packed my box yet" I sighed
"Did you gift me separately, Twin? Cos I deserve a separate gift from you" Jason cut in
"Why would I get you a gift? Is your wife not enough for you?" I folded my arms, pretending to be annoyed
"Rot in hell sis" Jason chuckled
"I need to go pack please" I groaned
"No need for that. Our things are in the car already. Mateo is also here somewhere so we are just waiting for your command" Richard smiled
What did I do to deserve such man, I thought to myself
"Nothing. You did absolutely nothing" Jason said
"Huh?" I asked, confused
"Girl doesn't even know she voiced her thought out" Jason laughed
"Babe, he's teasing me!" I whined
"Name anything you want me to do to him" Richard said, pulling me close
"I forgive him. He's such a cry baby and he's cry." I laughed

"You just had to add 'miss' to my name. Show off, Mister married man" I rolled my eyes. "I'm ready to go. This idiot will miss not having me in his life"
"Better cos I wouldn't love to be cock blocked once she walks in through that door" Jason said
"Oh that's the reason" Richard laughed
"You understand right, bro?" Jason smirked
"Bad guy" Richard shook him, laughing. "Bye. Add this" He said, gifting him a cheque too
"Damn! Thanks man" Jason smiled widely once he looked at the cheque

"You know how I hate that word. You sound like an uninterested partner"

We walked to where our car was packed. I waved him goodbye before Mateo left the compound.
"Thank you so much for everything you did for my family and I babe" I hugged Richard
"Anything to see my baby smile" He raised my chin and placed a kiss on my lips

"Hmm" He answered
"What do I do to earn those fat ass cheque" I asked
"I knew you'd ask" He laughed, pulling me close to him.
