Chapter 37: Date Night

Harlow

“So what do you think?” Brat asked as I looked at my reflection in her body mirror. She was letting me borrow one of her dresses for my date with Cyrus.

“I don’t know,” I said, squeamishly, “Has more flowers on it than I’m used to.”

“No problem!” She grabbed an armful of outfits from her closet and threw them down on the bed.

“I’m not trying to be a pain in the a** about this.”

“No need to explain yourself. It’s my job to make sure you look smoking hot.”

As I began sifting through her pile of clothes, we heard a knock at the door.

“Come in!” Brat said.

Liam entered and gave Brat a big kiss. It went on for so long it started to get weird. They eventually settled down.

“You need something?” Brat asked.

“I was heading out to pick up some groceries. Want anything?”

“Nah. Unless you wanted to pick up something sweet, like ice cream,” Brat added.

“Will do.” They gave each other another uncomfortably long kiss before Liam left.

Brat turned to me with a big smile on her face. “He’s making me dinner. He’s so romantic!”

“That’s sweet,” I said as I started putting on a green spaghetti strap dress. “Glad to see you’re both so...involved.”

“I was pretty worried at first,” Brat said, “but Liam really is a great guy. Plus, he’s hot as hell, so that helps. I’m looking forward to getting to know him better.”

“Do you know when you two are heading off?”

“We’ll be able to stick around for your birthday party, then we’ll have to hit the road right after. He’s got class the next morning. Dax is coming with us, and he’s gonna help us pay for an apartment so Liam can leave the dorms. I can’t believe I’ll be living in L.A. with all the movie stars! I’ve never even visited.”

“Well, I can’t say I won’t miss having you around, but I’m happy for you.”

“I’ll miss you too. But we’ll be back as soon as Liam’s semester is over. What do you think of that one?” Brat said, acknowledging the green dress I finished putting on.

I did a little spin. “I like it.”

“Oh, me too!” she exclaimed. “It’ll be great for a first date. Any idea what you’re doing?”

“Cyrus wouldn’t say. Just said it was a surprise.”

“Well, if you need any ideas, the Mega Mart is open twenty-four hours a day. They won’t kick you out as long as you don’t test out too many hula hoops.”

I smiled. “I’ll keep that in mind.”

After leaving Brat’s, I drove back over to my trailer to wait for Cyrus to pick me up. For some reason, I started feeling nervous about our date—a good kind of nervous. I knew it was silly to feel this way, especially after everything Cyrus and I had already been through, but I still had butterflies in my stomach.

About a half-hour later, after redoing my hair for the hundredth time, the sound of Cyrus’s bike told me he was there. But when I stepped outside, I wasn’t looking at the same rough and tough biker I first met the night my car broke down. He was wearing a fitted grey button-down and dark jeans. I almost didn’t recognize him without his cut.

“You look beautiful,” Cyrus said as he approached. The smell of his cologne was intoxicating.

“Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself.”

Fully expecting to hop on the back of his bike, I was surprised when he said, “We’ll need to take your car.”

“Where are we going?”

“You’ll see,” he said. “But, I need your keys.”

“The only person I let drive my baby is me,” I teased.

“You wanna drive me on the date I’m taking you on?”

I tried maintaining a serious face, but a smile broke through anyway. “Well, I suppose I can make an exception.” I handed over my keys. “Just be careful with her,” I said as he slid into the driver’s seat.

“Yes, ma-am.”

Before long, Cyrus was driving us out of town. We drove for about thirty minutes until we pulled up to an old-fashioned drive-in.

“Oh, my God! You’re taking me to a drive-in movie?” I exclaimed, nearly jumping out of my seat. “I’ve always wanted to go to one!”

Once Cyrus paid our admission, he drove inside and parked my car. Given my love of classic muscle cars, he’d brought me to see an old car chase film from the 1970s. Before it started, he ran out and got us some movie snacks from the concession stands. Of course, he came back with a ridiculous amount of food. Popcorn, candy, sodas, hot dogs, and pretzels. I was barely able to finish one hot dog by the time Cyrus had devoured four. The food was practically gone by the time the trailers were over, but I didn’t mind.

With Cyrus’s arm around me, about halfway through the film, my focus began to drift away from the ‘73 Pontiac Ventura Sprint pursuing the ‘73 Grand Ville on the screen.

“You okay?” he asked, noticing I wasn’t paying attention. “If you don’t like the movie—”

“No, I like the movie just fine. I’m just really enjoying…this. Being able to go on a normal date like normal people with you. It’s nice.”

“Me too,” he said. “After everything that’s gone down recently, this is exactly what I needed.”

I began running my hand through his hair, leaned in, and planted a kiss on his cheek.

“What was that for?” he asked.

“Just for being you.” I shrugged.

He turned his head to kiss me, but I caught him by the chin and faced him back toward the screen.

“No. Keep watching,” I told him. “I want you to enjoy the movie.”

As I held his head in place, I began to make light pecks along his necks. There was a bit of scruff, but I didn’t mind the stubble.

“Yes, ma-am,” he said with a grin.

I undid the top button of his shirt so I could kiss along his collar bone. As my lips came back up his neck, he once again tried to bring his mouth to mine, but I playfully pushed him away.

“I told you. Watch your movie,” I teased. Cyrus let out a moan as I worked my hand beneath his jeans and ran my palm up and down.

“That feels good,” he said. I continued to kiss his neck and cheek and could feel him getting harder in my hand.

I did this for several minutes before I leaned in and whispered, “I wanna do something special for you.”

When I looked around and saw there weren’t any prying eyes watching us, I began unbuckling his belt.

Cyrus

I loved how aggressive Harlow was acting, especially being in public. The thrill of being caught made it even more exciting.

“Just what do you think you’re doing?” I asked, never taking my eyes off the film.

“Stop asking so many questions,” she ordered as she unzipped my jeans.

She then leaned over and began massaging me with her hand again. She kissed around my abdomen and then down my Adonis line. The anticipation of what she’d do next was excruciating. I let out a groan when I felt the moisture of her mouth trace along the side of my shaft. She repeatedly moved down, then back up before she wrapped her lips around my head and took me fully inside her mouth.

“Oh, God...” I let out as her head began to slowly rise and fall. I couldn’t believe how amazing it felt. Every so often, she let her tongue swirl around my tip, over and over, before taking me deep into her mouth again.

“You play nice,” I said, but that only made Harlow increase her speed. As she moved even faster, I began thrusting my pelvis ever so slightly to match her rhythmic motion. The desire to finish was threatening to boil over.

“I can’t hold back much longer,” I panted. But when I tried to lift Harlow off of me, she slapped my hand away. My eyes rolled back as she took me in deeper. She didn’t want me to pull out. It was then my body began to shake as a feeling of ecstasy consumed every part of me. No longer able to resist, I let out a gasp and released into her mouth. And she didn’t stop until she knew I had finished. She learned up and kissed all along my jawline.

“Did that feel good, baby?” she said.

“Hell, yes,” I managed to get out. “Get in the backseat.”

“The backseat? Why?”

“Because we’re not done yet,” I growled in her ear. Harlow’s eyes grow wide when she looked down and saw that my arousal hadn’t wavered. I was hungry for more.
