Chapter 152 Chapter 152

Chapter 152

Faye noticed her father’s absence but ignored to go meddle with the accusation her sister was fighting.

She stood going to them and taking her stand on the left side of Lorraine, crossing her arms on her chest with her face expressing disgust towards Kory.

“I’m going to call the maids now. Gray! Hannah!” She called, and as if on cue two maids emerged from a passage that leads to the kitchen coming to the scene.

“You both were there, it was the both of them who took care of me after Lorraine almost killed me. Please am I lying, didn’t Lorraine beat the shit out of me and almost kill me?” Kory asked the both maids, purposely looking away from their faces so it won’t appear as if she was giving signs to them on what to say.

“Yes,” the first maid who is the female agreed with her head bowed.

“We were present and we couldn’t interfere because Ma’am Lorraine was pretty furious and scary. She was screaming, ‘Leave us alone’ while punching her hand on the face. It was pitiful for Ms Kory, I wondered what she did to hurt so much to warrant that kind of cruel beating that almost took her life if something that is not entirely ordinary happened.” The male maid narrated his paid view on the story.

Lorraine was left speechless, her mouth widened in shock on how well Kory had quickly plan everything out.

“So let me get this straight. My wife almost killed you because she thought I was beginning to give you attention?” Avon asked, his question directed at Kory.

She scoffed lightly, “Can you believe it? How cheap and desperate.” She snorted shooting a glance filled with disdain at Lorraine.

“You’re the cheap disgusting desperate liar here bitch!” Lorraine brawled out in anger, really wishing she could let go of the last shred of humanity pulling her back from moving closer to her and killing her like she accused her of doing.

“Oh well then I’m sorry you have to leave this house Kory!” Avon sentenced, his sentence causing a major silence into taking over the tensed moment.

“What?” Kory gasped out with disbelief, looking at Avon as if he uttered the wrong sentence.

Lorraine satisfied with the judgement, looking up at her husband with a smile before her eyes fell on to Kory switching to a look of hatred.

Faye also satisfied, giving Kory a look of mockery.

“Yes Kory, do you want to die? If my wife is going to kill you because I’m giving you attention, shouldn’t you stay away from me and try not to die. Plus I don’t want the blood of any human being on wife’s hand, so to avoid that I will have to send you away. You should go upstairs and pack your things, you still have the keys to the Villa I bought for you; you can find shelter there-“

Faye was listening to Avon emphasize on his judgement when her hearing caught the murmuring happening at the back.

She glanced over to see her father seated close to Aunt Charlotte who had a peeved expression on her face as she spoke with anger in silent voice to her father.

Faye was perplexed as well as curious as she backed away from Lorraine going to meet them.

“Dad, aunt. What are you both murmuring about? What is going on?” She asked the moment she got to them, looking at their faces for hints to what it might be about.

Charlotte threw her face away immediately, as if leaving Oscar to reply to the question.

Faye stared keenly as her father lifted his bent head, his emotional face wetted with tears looking up at her.

“What’s going on dad? I told you I’m fine, you don’t have to worry about anything. Ain’t why is he crying now, can you tell me I’m fine. I really mean it.” Faye said, guessing the reason behind his tears and speaking on it.

Charlotte snorted at her words, not sparing Oscar a glance talkless of acknowledging what Faye said to her.

“It’s not about that my dear.” Oscar responded in a low tone, his voice frail as he adjusted his sitting position.

He shifted away from Charlotte and sitting to face Faye more directly with his elbows coming to rest on his thighs.

“I’m confused, then what is it about?” Faye asked again, her brows knitted in confusion with her gaze matching her state.

Oscar sighed with his eyes closing briefly, his palms clasped together covering his mouth. “Faye we have to talk and you’re not going to like what I want to talk to you about.” Oscar said to her, staring up at her through his brows before he stood up on his feet.

He grabbed her arm, “Take me to your room?” Oscar demanded, letting Faye lead the way with him trailing behind but holding on to her arm.

They both exited the ongoing drama playing out between Kory, Lorraine and Avon. Kory refused to honor Avon’s order because she said it is Lorraine’s words in his head, she is not going because she was kidnapped there the first time; knowing fully well it was her who staged the kidnapping. Lorraine threatening to throw her out with guys which won’t be friendly at all as she would be indeed throw out, with her belongings getting tossed on her face. Avon was also convincing Kory to leave peacefully and should not disgrace herself any further. This is not her home, she was accommodated so she should try and respect herself.

Faye got to her room, ushering her father right in with her. Just about closing her door she saw Charlotte also coming inside.

“I came to watch you spill everything from the start to the very moment we’re living now without leaving any single detail out. You must tell the truth, I’m here to counter that if you decide otherwise.” She deadpanned facing Oscar as she trudged in further, giving space to Faye to close her door like she wanted.

She turned around facing the two adults, her father already seated on her bed while her aunt took hers on her vanity seat.

“Well, I’m all ears and listening to your confession.” Faye announced, keeping her gaze lingering from her aunt to her father.

“Well….” Oscar started.

Back Downstairs.

“No. I’m not leaving this place, Lorraine has no right to throw me out. She’s a wicked witch that definitely won’t make me lose. No!” Kory screamed out opposing both Avon and his wife.

“Fucking give it up already Kory, this is not your house is it? Then why do you have so much problem leaving it. Lady your time here is up, get your stuffs and move the fuck out.” Lorraine could not be any less amazed.

This is not her home yet she’s fighting to stay. She’s nothing but a pitied citizen taking shelter in the house, nothing is attached. Why did she find it so hard to leave, is there something in this house she’s holding on to, or there is just a shadiness to her being clingy.

“No. I’m not giving anything up. In fact, I’m going to make you pay for this right now!”
